I say Bear is 8/10 and Nikki is 9.5/10. Sure, beauty standards have an influence, but attraction is subjective at the end of the day. It’s kinda like taste in food. Most people like pizza, but there will always be people who will choose something different. Most people dislike anchovies, but they’re always gonna be SOMEONE’S #1 choice. Don’t pay attention to this bullshit rating stuff. Different women often have VASTLY different tastes in guys, which is why we often say “hear me out…” before sho…

All the girls I went to high school with who look like Nikki are getting engaged to guys who look like Ian lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:41 AM

I thought Bear was far more attractive than Ian, but maybe that’s just my preference. Ian was a douchebag, I was surprised that Nikki was into him. On the surface, Bear seemed gentle and kind with Nikki (pre-wish). She seemed to be flirting with him a bit on the phone/in the bar at the beginning from the way I interpreted it

From what I’m seeing online, and correct me if I’m wrong, but the term in British slang refers to a woman or girlfriend generally. From how I’ve seen it used on TikTok, it describes a woman who stays with a man who treats her poorly. It’s used to victim-blame, and I don’t often see men being held accountable for being the perpetrators in these discussions

And it’s interesting how when we (women) tell these stories, RP men will tell us to “choose better,” but women will almost never say that to a guy who has been treated horribly. We will listen, have empathy, and validate their emotions. My siblings’ mom abused and cheated on my dad for years, and her bf even attempted to murder him. So I understand that there are horrible women out there, I’ve also been friends with some women who treated me pretty badly in the past. Bad people are bad people. I…

Go to the bar/club with some friends, and have them wingman/wingwoman :)

I’ve never understood why redpill spaces use the word ‘get’ when discussing sex/dating. Ex. ‘Get’ sex, ‘get’ women, ‘get’ dates. As a woman, my female friends and I usually phrase it as having sex, dating men, and going on dates, we’re not trying to ‘get’ anyone/anyone’s bodies. It just feels a bit odd, like they’re seeking ownership over women

Yes, very odd how they talk about women as if they were something to obtain. You can see it in their language too. They talk about ‘getting’ women, ‘getting’ dates, ‘getting’ sex, etc. They speak like they’re seeking ownership. It’s like they’re talking about which items they want at the grocery store

Agreed, and I think we’re so deeply entrenched in patriarchal ways of thinking that we may never be ready for this conversation. I will say, however, that the larger/stronger person(s) in this scenario should have more of an obligation to protect the family, and this tends to be the man. Also, men see other men as more threatening than women, which is another reason I believe the man should take the lead in this scenario. But you’re ultimately right, we have no clue what we’d do in a situation l…

YES thank you!! This is exactly what dating is like as a woman. I either like them or I don’t, I’m not comparing them against other ‘options’ like these redpill men seem to think. Men who think this way will likely come off as extremely insecure, which is an unattractive trait

I can assure you the vast majority of women aren’t dating multiple guys at once or using guys as ‘safe options.’ If I’m dating someone, I’m into them. If I’m not into them, I communicate that and we part ways. The pace at which things go is different for everyone. Women aren’t a monolith

The women I’ve met who wait a long time usually have some sort of trauma from being sexually assaulted. It takes time to build that level of trust with someone, sex is such a vulnerable act. If you’re unsure if she’s interested, the best way to navigate this would to 1. communicate how you’re feeling, and 2. ask her. You can speculate all you want, but that feeling you have of her having a roster of other guys is rooted in insecurity, not reality. I’m a woman and I’ve never dated multiple people…

They absolutely do. It’s hard to tell who wants an emotional connection vs just sex, many have become very skilled in manipulating women with romantic gestures just to drop them after hooking up. A lot of women have trust issues because of this

This is exactly why women don’t like you, remember that

These generalizations are strange to me…my mom has her Master’s and works in a senior management position, and my dad works a blue collar job and barely made it through high school. My dad was a single father of three living in poverty when they met, while she was attending a top university. I think he’s a good dad, but the standards are still noticeably lower for him. They both work a similar number of hours, too. There’s far less pressure for him to remember details about me like my birthday/m…

Many men will unfortunately only give a woman the time of day if they’re interested in sleeping with her, and male validation is one hell of a drug. Men would know this, they’re constantly seeking validation from their fellow men

Fr I was emotionally rejected by a guy who was probably somewhere between 5’4 and 5’6 and I still think about him constantly 💔. There are taller, more conventionally attractive guys but I’m just not attracted to them. Attraction is very emotional with women. I liked his charisma, humor, and gentle nature, and I became more and more attracted to him physically the more I got to know him (because I associated his looks with his persona). Social skills go a long way

I swipe left on the ‘best’ looking guys and the ones with expensive cars/items in their profile all the time if I don’t feel we would align. I also swipe right on guys who aren’t the most conventionally attractive if I feel we would align. Personally, I don’t care about height or muscles or anything like that, but as for physical traits I enjoy nice hair (LOVE curly hair), brown eyes, and I think glasses are super cute too. Beyond that, I think that mostly all guys are more or less the same in t…

She couldn’t have done it without them either. I think it’s sad that they viewed this as an “opportunity.” How could they enjoy putting her through such an undoubtably disturbing and physically/mentally exhausting scenario? I feel sad for her, and I feel terrible knowing that a lot of guys would probably get in that line if they had the “opportunity,” while simultaneously bashing her for making that decision. I don’t, however, know ANY women that would ever wish to be on the other side of that t…

I don’t think the solution should be women shaming men. I’d like to see men work toward being less judgmental (this includes judging THEMSELVES less for the amount of sex they’re having) and instead put their focus toward STD and STI testing/prevention, researching birth control measures/being open about this with their partners, and making sure that any sex they’re having is emotionally healthy and involves good communication on both ends. I mean, in the 90s/2000s you’d be shamed for drinking f…

Exactly. Everybody shames her but nobody even thinks to reprimand the guys involved

The average woman in college is ABSOLUTELY NOT having sex with her professors. Are you kidding?
