I actually have some skills haha. I play guitar quite well and I have an engineering degree. I could impress a lot of girls as is right now. But I don't really have a problem having girls attracted to me tbh. Even though it's really new for me. I just don't know when or how to make a move. I'm actually not sure there's any real advice that could be given to me. I just have to lean into it and accept that it's going to be uncomfortable for a while as I adapt and learn. Thanks tho

Be an intern at a multibillion dollar company. That's where a lot of them hang out at least. The companies do the vetting for you!

Shit bro you still have a full day and a morning. That's more than enough.

We also have an indigenous study lounge. It pisses me off because they took over a big pre existing lounge and they only ever have 10 people inside. Our school has very little study space so I was chapped.

I'm not sure who at budweiser thought this would be a good idea. It's like having a prolife commercial.

It makes me especially happy when women are against it too.

Pretty much feel the same way. Graduating engineering pretty soon and my college experience has been very limited. It sucks cause I see so many people having the time of their life at other schools, but I haven't really been able to do anything. Small school + living at home outside the city + being in engineering = not much of a social life. During my work terms I've had a pretty good time, but during school it sucks.

Yeah I've been thinking about it a bit recently. I may have changed my mind. I think it could work if you don't come in flying with "ur cute, can I have ur number?". Take some time to explain and be honest and I believe it has potential to work out.

I think it's pretty weird too. Pretty much because you have no reference as to who they are at all besides a few seconds of looking at them. If someone approached me in the same way I'd be like "who the eff is this?". There needs to be some pretext in the situation I think. Like even in line at the store is good, but there has to be something.

Yeah I'm the same way. What do I even say? I don't have a lot to say in normal situations, let alone when talking to a stranger.

It's almost the same as hitting on girls at the club. You have to first pass the binary yes or no test to have a shot. I'm bitter about this because I'm not a hottie.

At 16 you probably don't have to try too hard haha. Things like: you're the prettiest girl here. I dunno, just don't lie.

Girls like guys who know what they want. Don't be tentative or hesitant. Make your intentions clear. Give girls genuine compliments. Make sure you lead them. Be unapologetic. ...That's all I got for now.

Just want to talk on the subject a bit. I found it helpful to take a step back and ask myself: "How well do I even know her?". Probably not that well. In most of these cases you hang with someone for a few hours and then something goes off in your brain telling you she's perfect for you. Then you don't see the girl for a while and your brain fill sin the gaps and then you have a problem. If you have spent more time with a girl inside your own mind than in real life it is a bad sign. Even if it i…

You just have to give a reason for people to look past your physical qualities. And the people who dismiss you immediately aren't worth your time anyways.

I've been thinking about this all day pretty much and I've come to a conclusion now. I used to want everything about a girl to be just right. Now I feel like I only need a few things to be right. Does that make sense? Also when you find a girl who reciprocates your feelings then all of that shallow stuff matters even less.

For my whole life I have been insanely selective with girls. I have this picture in my head of what the "girl for me" is. Her body type, hair color, social status etc. I've now come to realize I was just psyching myself out in a way. I never approached anyone cause I always thought "I wouldn't like her". Not that I have much experience, but the last girl I was with didn't fit my description at all. She was a country girl who wasn't as skinny as I would prefer. I still connected with her on some …

I am in a very similar situation and I feel the exact same way. It's nice to see I'm not alone. I've been setting a ton of goals lately and I feel really good about accomplishing them.

Are these girls in high school by chance? I found an 18 year old girl like this and she just seemed desperate for attention.

I mean you are kinda a dick about but I agree. I started talking to a girl on my train ride and it was 20 mins of awkward. I can't deal with that.

It kind of bothers me when people just say : "be more confident". How exactly did you develop that skill? I've spoke in front of crowds quite a few times and it has been just as difficult every time.

Yeah buddy you tell me. It's really fucked up, but that's kind of the way I am too.
