Don't be sorry. You have no idea how much I treasure your response, thank you for the insights and advice, I am starting to feel better :) I literally copied and saved the text. I guess I am guilty of judging a book by its cover. A lot of those judgements come from a place of fear, and fear and desire are often both sides of the same coin. It has nothing to do with the creators, because people can modify a costume to suit their needs. There's sexy, then there is over the top. I've see many women rock Zatanna with a normal, full coverage one-piece leotard, then some women who go thong leotard, ass cheeks on display. The latter are most likely sex workers. Tbh alot of SW are deep in the pop/nerd culture and they see market. Maybe it's time pop/nerd culture pushed sex workers out of their spaces? Just sayin.

I'm not even debating that angle. I'm saying it's disgusting for sex workers to be in a space where families are, using the Con to sell their porn. These women don't care about cosplay, they are leeching off ComicCon, using it as a marketing tool, ealking around in tbongs with their boobs almost exposed. That's fucked up, especially because there are kids there.
