It wasn't the firstpumping I took issue with it was his arms widespread gesturing the crowd to cheer for him that I took issue with. He wasn't enjoying being congratulated or winning he was actively requesting people to cheer for him. I don't like it when football players do it either. They seem to do it somewhat tongue in cheek in that they are so excessive though.

Entitled may have been the wrong word but whereas others seem glad to have won a medal he seems glad that his expectations of winning a medal were upheld. I don't think that anyone has earnt gesturing and seeming smug after winning another gold medal. I guess my issue is with his lack of modesty in winning and his self satisfaction in gesturing towards the crowd about how great he is. I could understand perhaps if it was his first gold but after 20 others it just seems a bit much.

Why would there be unsportsmanlike conduct for the crowd basking in his glory? They're not participating.
