I would say do speak out, consequences be damned. If you're afraid to speak your mind, then they've already won. There is a price to pay for not speaking out, just as much as there is for speaking out. In my eyes, the price of silence is too high.

That's kind of what I just said... "Any path to success that relies on their prostitution is probably not a success they want."

That just sounds like extortion with extra steps. How is it not extortion when you are threatening someone's career? At some point, everything is extortion with extra steps. If I withhold ice cream from you because you won't pay me, is that extortion too? If I choose to hire, for example, a personal assistant, based on if they'll sleep with me, what I'm really doing is hiring a prostitute that will pretend to be a personal assistant. If one were to believe in legal prostitution (or at least beli…

You have to have sex with me or you die. That's not a trade, that's extortion. I agree, that's definitely not valid consent. I see where you're coming from in how a trade like that feels like extortion, but I think the difference lies in that a livelihood is not your life. There are many paths to choosing/making a livelihood. Some people choose to be engineers, some people choose to be entrepreneurs, or nurses, or managers, or prostitutes. If you choose to pursue a career by selling your body, y…

If someone is using your need to make a living, in any industry, to get sex from you, that is extortion and therefore abuse. What about porn actresses? What about prostitutes? Their whole business model is to sell their sex. Are they victims too? Who's extorting them? We absolutely cannot suggest that these actresses aren't victims in this case. Anyone who presents valid consent to having sex is not a victim. That's the point of consent. If you don't like my price, don't buy.

Let's be clear. Using a position of power, to get sex, is abuse. I suppose it depends on the position and depends on the power. Arguably, any attempt to do anything is using power. If you want an ice cream cone, you use your position of power as a human being with a few dollars in your pocket against the shop's desire for said dollars. You both agree to the exchange, and Bam - you've got your ice cream, and the shop has its money. Same deal with prostitution. You offer me money, I offer you sex.…

Which would lead me to believe you support racism. Uhm. What? Just because someone supports free speech, including the right to say things you don't like, somehow that's supporting racism? How does that work? the free speech excuse, Free speech isn't an "excuse." It's the very basis of our Western Civilization. Opposing free speech is fundamentally un-American. Also, as a reminder, you are using your free speech to criticize free speech. If it's OK to censor anyone who you disagree with, I think…

There's a difference between not having enough evidence to prove something was true, and having enough evidence to prove it was false. If a person accuses another of a sex crime and there's not enough evidence to convict, that does not necessarily mean that the accusations were false. However, if a person accuses another of a sex crime, and the defendant is able to prove (beyond a reasonable doubt) that the crime never took place and that the accusations were false to begin with, that's another …

But he didn't. That's what we're here discussing. Take the higher ground and don't cheat or help cheat.

If he really wanted to to do the right thing, he could ask what the boyfriends name was, then when leaving write down the address and send a letter addressed to the boyfriend. There's a chance he'll see it, but maybe she intercepts it. I mean, there's no need to go out of your way to do anything, but sending a letter isn't very difficult, especially if you don't even have to ask for the address.

Girls don't want to have sex be the only thing they hear about. Trust me, there was this girl I was talking to for a while, and she would always find a way to change the topic to sex, or her boobs, or how she watches porn, and how she's always "dtf". Seriously, it was annoying as fuck, so I just stopped talking to her. No one wants to hear about that crap all the time. It's a turn off. You need to let her know that's what you're interested in, but if you can't talk about anything other than sex …

No, it's more like I'm pretty sure none of that shit works, so why would I waste my time trying it? No one likes "that guy" so why would I want to be him?

Pretty sure this is how chicks spot guys they don't want to hook up with. All of those things are exactly what I would stray away from doing, for fear of being "that guy".

How long do you think I should know her before it's appropriate to ask someone to this type of event?

Just recently I took a girl to go play Paintball for our first date. That was really fun.
