Good to know. I have an old friend in the USAF who is around 5'10" and explained that he is one of the tallest due to certain restrictions. I think the new jets can allow for someone as tall as 6'5", but they are very cramped.

That is interesting as fighter pilots use to have to be a certain weight and under a certain height to fly a jet fighter. I am amazed at how shallow this girl is as well.

Alwayscrappin, What if they were guests your home, invited or not, and took your wallet? Would that make you a "pussy" for complaining about it? Theft is theft. We live in a civil society where people are expected to follow certain rules of decorum. If she had asked, I imagine he would have been ok with it. But you don't take any property from others without asking.

It has been shown that the wage gap is based on decisions and not gender. But this is what you deal with when children regurgitate dogma.

You sound like a sane and rational person who understands the basic tenants of the law, and how false rape/sexual assault accusations harm real victims. I want equal rights and equal protections. I don't want entitlements. Any woman who has a male child or brother would want the same. You want meritocracy. You earn based on merit. That is what any reasonable person would want.

Why is this even an issue. Criminal matters should not be dictated by a University that excepts federal funding? If they refuse to reinstate a student, than they should be exposed for their hypocrisy and a violation of many federal acts. And they are also in violation of the contract they normally apply to payment. I can't fire someone because of their gender, creed, race, gender religion etc. But campus's are now run my middle management morons. That also goes for most public schools as well. A…

In road rage, emotions run high. But they should never be high enough to end another human life. And her assumption that gender will prevent her from going to prison is a dangerous prospect. Such arguments would allow white men to lynch black men or the mass genocides in our past and current histories. People can't be allowed leeway based on anything. If you want to behave like a wild animal, you should be treated like a wild animal. She was not abused. She was the abuser. Something like this ha…

I don't like Trump, but this woman wanted to use her ethnicity as a weapon against's Trump responding to arguments of national policies. Would she be offended if she was a white person? James Gunn was fired from directing Gardians of the Galaxy 3 for a tweet he made 10 years ago while working with Troma. Troma is a company know for their silly schock and awe type of comedy. It made big news. Disney brought him back on as they knew he was not that same person and was the best person for the job. Heard attempting to frame her husband for abuse is a whole different situation entirely. One is just a statement that is legally justified. Her's is an action which is possibly criminal.…

Well, she destroyed her career in the process of hurting another person to boost her career. She was self centered and egotistical enough to make up a large amount of evidence which would boost her personal and public positions. She set up an anchor baby scheme. It is bothersome because so many people come to the US who seek the "American Dream" or just fleeing the violence of their native countries, only to be denied. I agree. And that is a great way of making it applicable to the subject. Materials cost more money. It takes a person longer to make a larger pizza. And then to go boxes have to be larger, which cost more money. As per airlines, you are cracking me up, as I have friends who are commercial pilots and even some ground crew. While clothing is one of the most over priced items, there is the major argument of materials and man hour costs. And as you mentioned, cost per shipping as well. How is her reaction "brutal"? Her reaction is childish, selfish and arrogant. She invited him out under the assumption that he would pay for her dinner. This is what their version of equality looks like. They want to snag some wealthy guy before their looks fade and they become a spent commodity in the dating market. I forget who the man was that made a legitimate valuation about women and their looks, but it certainly fits in that group. Because she believes that this person was just given fame. And such things are easy. It requires training and good genetics. And when I hear a person make the assumption that such things are easy, or these people have easy lives, it can be bothersome. They make some connection that such fame comes easy. And by proxy, they objectify the person in question. They show a true lack of empathy for the situation in total.

But the argument does come down to inflation and the cost of living. In 1970, a person making minimum wage could easily afford their own 1 bedroom apartment. In 1980, a person making a dollar over minimum wage could afford their own 1 bedroom apartment. In 1990, a person making 2 dollars over minimum wage could afford their own 1 bedr…

Again, I think that EBT is normally managed on a state level. I really don't know enough as I have never used them. I do know that people in the local ghetto's will often sell their cards off for half their value. I simply know that certain things in my state are not applicable. And luxury foods like lobster or ribeye steaks are not allowed. I could understand sodas being allowed, but certainly not energy drinks.

I agree with that 100%. There are things people require to have for survival. I think that any foods that are WIC/EBT acceptable, should not be taxed on a state level either. You can't use EBT/food stamps to buy prime rib regardless of what the rumor mill may tell you. But much of this may also be a state by state case. But there are requirements for people to survive. Interesting fact. When woman follow the same career path and decisions as men, by the age of 60, they actually make around 5% more. Women between the ages of 20-30, in retail, make more then their male retail counterparts. So where is this wage gap again? When will people understand that this behavior against a young male can be just as damaging as it is against a young female. Society seems to not understand that a male teenager has the same emotional range, understanding and response as that a girl of similar age. And such behaviors can truly damage the victim for life. It can effect their ability to handle relationships and sow the seeds of distrust toward the opposite gender.

I am very pragmatic about such stories. This makes me question if any of her statements are true. Is there any footage of this? At no point did this news outlet request body camera footage. Was the officer wearing a body cam, as it looks like this dept requires officers to wear one? I don't agree with the concept of hitting anyone based on what they say. The simple solution is to simply walk away. But, an individual who has someone commit battery against them has the legal right to defend their person. Based on this video, this woman is the aggressor and attempting to get others to do her dirty work. So by proxy, she is just as guilt of battery committed by others. This is the reason why there has to be a type of litmus test to determine if the accuser is making such statements with ill intent. This is a complicated situation. The human brain is not very good. It manufactures false memories. There are those people who would honestly believe that a person committed a crime, even if they were not any where near the area. I have not read the law so I can't speak to it's validity. We have to look at this rationally. There are cases where a person who commits rape goes free. One article I found said this. "The judge set her bond at $10,000 and ordered her not to have contact with anyone under the age of 16. She is set to appear next in court March 6 for her arraignment. If convicted of the charges, Turner could face up to four years in prison." So it was clear that is there was something other than consent. I am going to guess the student was below the age of 18. But as she is being charged with a class E felony, you are probably right that the student was 18.

They receive federal funding for many programs. Such programs draw in students. But in any case, that case was still a criminal matter. This is not about the ego of campus administrators. And that seems to be the recent trend. When I went to school, the idea of college was to learn how to think and look for truth, not to be what to think and believe what truth you are told. Then again, that was many many years ago.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/11/18 03:24 PM

I agree, but such matters are criminal. They should be handled by the law enforcement and not a university. If this was a situation involving campus police, then that was a very big screw up on the part of law enforcement and not the university it's self.

Publicly funded colleges should not have the authority to bypass the legal system. It is disgusting to see the type of power a few people, who lack any formal legal training, can yield over the life of an individual. This is one reason why academia is now becoming so demonized by so many. You can't take university administration seriously when they show such disdain for the law.

How do they truly determine IQ in such cases as a defense? The only statement made in the article claims that she has a diminished capacity, being an IQ of 76 or less. But what type of pathology, methodology and testing is considered standardized practice for such determinations. And what follow up testing is offered for the purpose of legitimatizing the claim? I am reminded of Dawkin's book "The God Delusion", when he spoke about the development of subconscious behaviors as part of evolution. It's been years since I read it, but I believe he spoke about communal activity among birds and their tendency toward both generosity in their flock and defense in their choice of flight. And in addition, he mentioned the red flags that accompany such things. I could be misrepresenting the text. It's been many years since I read the book. But it does not surprise…

I bet she has dealt with many junkies that abuse the system. They do train many people in the nursing field to expect this. They do their best to train them to notice red flags. I think this was more of a PR issue. This is not about gender. The majority of nurses being female does not make it a gender issue. It makes it, as you said Flanjan, an issue with a system that gets abused.

I saw that. It was very creepy. I remember a video interview with a man stuck in county lock up, those small overnight/weekend cells, with John Wayne Gacey. He stated that while the man was not as large or physical as he was, he sat there and you could tell there was nothing behind his eyes. And that made him very afraid. I believe people like that give off some type of signal or gesture, in their actions, that is read subconsciously as a warning.

I am only repeating what other people in the food industry stated. I think it would be dependent on the order. Would you tip the hostess for telling you where the "to go" waitress station was? Beyond all of the reasons mentioned above, they don't consider the fact that if the roles were reversed, they would react like her ex boyfriend did. We live in a culture where women assume that it is somehow empowering to degrade a man, or destroy his property. But if it happens to them, then the man is abusive. Much of it comes down to media. Even the red/blonde guy jumps in to calm her down. The son starts it with that push, and mommy has to jump in and act just as badly. We know where that kid gets it from. Based on facts raised in other posts about this situation, she probably comes from a wealthy family. And that, in it's self, will hold a bias to many readers. I have a strong feeling that her legal defense team will come up with every excuse in the book to defend the actions of unwarranted carnage. I don't care about her gender or race. She should not have been in possession of a firearm if she was so ready to use it. Her actions were negligent at best and outright malicious at worst. I don't be…

Interestingly enough, row of open public toilets was rather common in the Roman word. It was said that this was a place there all men were equals. The could sit, defecate and talk as equals.

Thanks. I originally started out my diatribe with a serious nature, but then ended up being a bit satirical. I think we all know that women using a trough is not practical. Even if they made available those disposable cones that allow women with disabilities or mobility issues to urinate standing up, it still would not be realistic. But I thought it would be funny to see.

It makes you wonder what the penalties are for a man walking into a woman's bathroom. And if a man is punished for such an infraction, should the woman not face the same legal ramifications? I personally think that a long line for a bathroom does not excuse such behaviors. After all, while men have troughs to pee in, women cop a squat and often hover over a toilet in public toilet seat. Why not have a trough for them as well? The only difference would the the height, easier access to toilet pape…

I don't know anything about AU law or it's court system. But in the U.S., they could very well have the state BAR revisit the judge's capability to practice law in an impartial manner. A baby is beaten black and blue, and the judge was lenient on the aggressor. I am dumbfounded.

This is not a PPD. This is a nurse acting on the rule of law and in the best interest of the patient. She would be violating the law and HIPPA if she allowed them to remove blood a patient, when said patient was unable to consent. She was justified in her actions. If she had allowed this to happen or actively participated, she could have lost her license to practice as an RN. Additionally, the hospital would be held liable in a civil suit. This was a perfect response to this situation. She is out of control. She is a danger to herself and others. She does not want to go to jail, so she is pleading. But the damage is done. She won't leave if they let her go. She will return again because she is mentally ill or on drugs. The best thing for her is rehab. And perhaps the courts will offer her a deferral for treatment.

I am confused as to how this is a PPD? Is it because they take things more serious then they may have based on gender? This was a 7 month old child. I don't think any police dept that didn't follow through would be neglect in their duties.

My take on this situation is simple. Did this lady legally adopt these children? It sounds like he was removing them for her life, and this was an act of desperation by her and her father; both of whom had become attached to the children. Ergo, they had taken drastic action to insure the children would stay in their lives. Common sense would dictate that most people do not have immediate access to a baseball bat, unless he ran into a garage to grab one. And at 67, I have issue believing the man …

I am in 100% agreement. At least she gave it a shot. Nothing ventured means nothing gained. The fact that she was not capable of meeting the requirements is not a PPD. How many men can meet those requirements? I know that, even when I was in my prime, I could not.

In a situation like this, I like to reverse gender roles. Does it warrant her termination from employment? You have to ask the question that if this were a man that told a waitress that he left with an erection, should he be fired? In truth, her behavior was lewd. Then there are arguments of being entrusted to educate young people. 20 years ago, either sex could have gotten away with this to a certain degree due to privacy and a lack of online availability. I am trying to wrap my brain around this. If I ever make it to 100 and a girl wants to dance like that for me, I would be ecstatic. The article does not make mention of her intent beyond her stating that she wanted to make him happy. I don't believe she was trying to do this to make her way into his will, or was using this as a means of stealing from him.

She is a self important person who often confuse facts from opinion. If she had something to offer to the discussion, she would not play a victim. A real journalist will know the subject matter they speak of. She is more like a Op Ed columnist that wants to feel like her opinion has merit. When she is told that she needs to support her statements, she drops the victim card. Everyone must be a bigot or racist except her because they let her know she can't back up her claims.

I agree. I have family from India. There are customs followed and there are the arguments of damages. But as the court decided, this was her decision to make. Her honor, and that of her family, was damaged. This man is not without shame, but these actions do not tally a rape accusation. And such actions fall on her. This man does not deserve sympathy, but some reproach. That is my point.

So this girl, who was supposed to get married to some guy, has consensual sex with him prior to being wed. He breaks the engagement off and she wants to call it rape. This court takes into consideration the changing culture and tells her that she has to be accountable for her own actions. Now she is possibly shamed, or has a social stigma laid against her, for having pre-martial sex and feels like she deserves damages because she willingly engaged in consensual sex. So, the FBI spoke with the father. The police spoke with the father. Polygraphs are not even admissible in court. DSS followed up claims, only to have their person on that case arrested for child abuse. The Pediatrician found not claims except what the mother told him. And she kidnapped her child. A real journalist would have asked her why she assumes any sexual abuse when there is no evidence of it.

Did you read the article I posted? I am not arguing with him. Muscle mass, based on gender, is common knowledge. But in a combat situation, upper body strength can determine life of death. You can't use a rifle if you can't hold it for a long period of time.
/r/PussyPassDenied10/12/16 04:07 PM

I don't think anyone missed your point. I think you are backpedaling to cover the statement you made. In combat conditions, a person requires greater upper body strength. Even if it is to simple carry a rifle or pack. You don't send a person into conditions that they are not capable of handling.

If you really wanted to, you would just buy some muriatic acid/concrete cleaner from Home Depot. But tossing anything in someones face because you disagree with them is not right. It's like those old 70's and 80's sitcoms where a guy would try and hit on a girl and she would poor his beer on him. That is not right. If a guy hits on a girl and she shoots him down, does that give him the right to toss her drink in her face? I would certainly think not.

She can toss liquids, those which could be anything, at people who disagree with her. Good Lord.... where is 4Chan when we really need them. I mean really? Lena Dunham is a terrible person and deserves to feel terrible for her actions. People should comment on her tweets and make her understand that it's not ok to act in the manner she acts. She is a troll to the Nth degree.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that this is a cut and dry case of a lady who stole from a man. But chances are that he was hiding his assets from the IRS by the purchase of such items.

I dated a lady who was from American Samoa... and she loved these types of items. They were campy but funny too. And she knew it was not offensive at all. I still have some items she had family send me from her native island of Western Samoa (which is next to American Samoa)... And for those curious... What surprises me is why the judge didn't recommend some kind of judicial review against the lawyer of this girl. It is clear that he and his client are wasting the court's time. Agreed. It was a golf cart, not a tank. Chances are that the cart was electric and tops out at 10 miles an hour. That seems like a normal policy. You don't allow a person, regardless of gender, to enter a life or death situation if they are not suited for the task. I would not want a person who works at MacDonald's doing organ transplant surgery or crack head running a kindergarten. While those are extremes, the point is as valid. You use persons who are capable of such job requirements necessary to accomplish the task.

My thoughts exactly. Based on the article, this had nothing to do with gender. States have a varied statute of limitations based on the types of crime. Capitol offences normally have longer, or even unlimited, time frame which a person can be prosecuted. This marriage and divorce happened in Canada. You can't even say words that offend people without fear of legal reprisal and possible jail time. Canada is not a country I would choose to live in because they litigate regular behavior. I love Joe's podcast btw. He has some great ideas.

How long ago was this and how long has were they married? You have to understand that the courts look at alimony as a means to an end when a person is kept out of the workforce to raise children. It was never intended to be a guaranteed income, but rather a way of subsiding the income beyond child support, based on the loss of time vested in child rearing. As both parents are now entering the workforce to provide for children, they look to offset expenses with child support rather then alimony. …

In most of those cases, the woman did sign a prenup prior to marriage, and wanted to renegotiate the contract at the time of divorce.

In most states they don't apply alimony unless there is a lifestyle that a person becomes accustomed to. Removal of this law is actually on the ballet in CA this November. It does not exist in my home state.

And here we go... I read every word. You make a great many "what if" statements, rather then addressing the issue. She does not want to have sex and he does. You are blaming him. You claim it is his fault. But you don't want to admit that marriage is a mutual agreement. I love how you tossed RAPE in the mix. There was never a argument of forced sexual contact, but you decide to bring that up. If he divorced her for any reason, it would not oblige financial reparations to her unless she had been …

This is not 1950. This is applicable in 2015. A marriage is a contractual arrangement. If his needs are not met, then why should he not divorce her? If the situation gets so grim that he has to create a spread sheet, then it is a long existing issue. If gender roles had been reversed how would you side? He could cheat on her to fullfill his needs, but that is irresponsible and immoral behavior. Marriage is a contractual arrangement designed to fulfill the needs and desires of both parties involv…

The author of this article clearly does not understand that sex is a important part of a relationship. If she is withholding sex, then this man needs to divorce her on those grounds. It is a legal sound reason to file. I think it is called "Alienation of affections". The courts realize this because they understand that many persons enter a marriage under a false pretense as a financial convenience rather then a actual partnership. But, I am not a lawyer.

Intent and proof are the key words. In the same way, many laws are designed to protect customers from LP detaining a person based on assumption. I know this is a repost, but this lady must have had people let her get away with this in the past. What a fucking child. She caused an accident and wants to blame him for her bad behavior.

This employer/representative lacks standard behavior expected by a professional. An employer states that the person is being let go. That is all. In placing this video online, they are positioning their company to a legally actionable position. You never reveal the reason for termination, beyond performance that is documented. This video is a example of how NOT handle the termination of a person's employment.

This is why body cameras are a must for law enforcement. Could you imagine what would happen if they didn't have this on camera?

Being a member of the bar requires a level of moral and ethical professionalism. The Bar may look at these actions an deny her a license.

"Why You Throw Her!".... uh, because he was attempting to defend himself from an unruly future member of the prison population?

I don't know about the Australian prison system but in the states, there is at least a civil suit option beyond the possible criminal charges. Personally, I would want to see her serve time.

She keeps on trying to proclaim that she is not drunk.... That says it all.

Ratings sell advertising. People like to see a bit of social justice as it pertains to a quasi-human interest piece.

I don't know of any schools that don't have a "safety" officer these days.

Unfortunately, much of that mentality of "getting away with it" has to do with their location. If you live in the ghettos, the police are more likely to haul you off to jail for the same offence committed in a suburban or rural area.

I was thinking the same thing; a crack habit. Her bouncing around and growling speaks volumes as to her mental state. Crack can make a person paranoid agitated and aggressive.

A person's education may be reflected by their mode of speech and the manner for which they behave.

I hate people like her. I bet that if the guy was just taking photographs to document the damage on both vehicles, she would still act this way. Control yourself and except some responsibility for your actions lady. That poor cop. He seemed like a decent guy doing his job too. No doubt that he has seen people try to say things to avoid their responsibilities.

They failed to get school security into the situation. This girl will have a long career in the penal system, and she won't be a guard.

She will get away with behavior until she losses her looks. Edit
