The tax brackets are significantly more lenient in Canada for low income workers. But enrollment of men is already lower than enrollment of women. Granted, the difference isn't huge, but how much worse will it have to get before anything happens? I wouldn't be surprised if women outnumbered men five to one in undergraduate programs and still no one would find that odd.

My case alone didn’t have enough evidence to go to court, but the officer reminded me that like Alec, most men are not one time offenders. How charming of her to completely ignore that not all rapists are men, and in fact to go so far as to suggest that most men are rapists. If she had written "most rapists" or "most offenders" instead of "most men" I would have no problem.

The problem I see with the policy is again, overreach. McGill for the most part doesn't have dorms. Dorms are used by first-years only, and after, you're expected to find housing in the city, since the university is located downtown. The policy as it is phrased acts to police the actions of students outside of both class hours and the campus premises. Prostate? I do seem to recall a graph showing funding for cancer treatment by type along with associated deaths of that cancer. What struck me was that prostate cancer had more associated deaths and significantly less funding than breast cancer.

I don't mean by "your definition is subjective" that I think you made up the definition. I mean that "the definition you pasted has a subjective component" specifically that it requires an implicit agreement between the speaker and the listener about what is and isn't damaged, in context. That said, the fact that the ritual involves celebration suggests that these perpetrators of MGM don't believe that it's mutilation.

Disclaimer: I am strongly against MGM. From the perspective of someone who condones circumcision, the act is not mutilation according to the cited definition because they would not believe that it render the penis imperfect or damaged. The definition of mutilation that you gave is subjective, which makes the word tricky to use in a conversation with someone having differing beliefs.

Right. "I saw some sketchy people who look like people who have committed crimes in my experience" or something like that would have been fine. Warning your friends about those kinda of folks lingering around is a good thing to do. The issue was that he assumed they'd do something wrong just from the way they looked. That just makes her a bit of an asshole. Since nothing actually happened to these guys, this isn't really a men's rights issue in my opinion.
