I mean, check the comments with negative karma on any /r/mensrights post (including this one), and you'll see some anger/hate. I'd say some portion of it is false flag, but some of it is probably coming from genuine bad eggs. But, hey, this sub usually has the sense to downvote that shit. That's something to be proud of.

It seems like a general tendency of the media to fear and mock principled people. Principled people can't necessarily be controlled. Bernie - whether or not you like him or his policies - has been saying variations of the same stuff for decades, and seems pretty principled. The media did the same to Gary Johnson. Any time that dude came up in a story, it was mockery about Aleppo or him sticking out his tongue.

If multiple different women with no connection to each other all report suspicious but not criminal behavior from a man, that man is almost certainly a sexual predator. Or that man simply has characteristics that women consider creepy. This could be as simple as having a personality disorder, being eccentric, being extremely unattractive, or any combination thereof. I think it would be very difficult to point to consumerism, resource depletion, habitat destruction, etc. and distribute most of the blame to men or most of the blame to women. It's a complex global economy, and there's a lot going on. The important thing is, we are (mostly) all bastards when it comes to the environment.

I would also agree that we have an immensely patriarchal view of the environment. It is ours for it to submit to us. I'm not sure if 'patriarchal' is the best word for that. Maybe 'exploitative'? I don't think sex/gender factors much into it.

You can make a case for Black at low levels, too, though: Black has much more of an ability to determine the opening. White has basically 2 top-drawer first moves, whereas Black gets to choose from a half-dozen great responses against either.
