When talking about important relationship shit like this I don't think anyone just breaks out lmao in all caps. If anything, it indicates to me that she was surprised and felt disrespected by his agreement.

It's definitely not only surprise, specifically because of the words "supposed to." She said "that's not supposed to be your response," like he did something wrong according to societal standards, like he's not allowed to feel the same way. It doesn't necessarily mean she was trying to play the game of making him have to chase her, but it definitely means she wasn't just innocently surprised that he felt the same. At the very least it means she subscribes to some stupid view of gender roles in a…

People could live without her. The love interest thing wasn't a big deal. In the first one, mostly a family and brother squabble, epic journey, rightful king, yadda yadda

"People like this commenter above like to make sweeping generalizations, usually projecting buzz words like "echo chamber" and the like onto others. They think that everyone is as narrow-minded as they are, particularly when it's on the other side of the issue." See how that sounds?

Maybe it's just that he got a little cocky. He had an opportunity to probably kill her cleanly and properly, but he probably figured that his beast thing, can't remember the name, could do it, but really they looked kinda clumsy in battle on the ground. And after it's head was cut off, then I think he had fallen off so he was at a disadvantage. Oh right merry also came up from behind and stabbed him in the knee.

Eh not really. I think his point is valid, but I don't think it's proven by the fact that people are saying he's wrong

i don't think that one set of data should always invalidate another. I think we need to spend some time working out whether the one per capita crime rate of violent crime justifies the other. I don't mean that either way, but I don't think you can discard the violent crime data set or use it to completely understand the situation
