You have to get used to the fact that girls, and later in life, women always need to bring the focus of everything back on them. They need that attention and need the sympathy of others, often at the expense of those who really need it. I’m sounding harsh here but, truly I am not. Just making an observation based of 6 decades of life. We men are always treated as 2nd class citizens and expendable. No matter how bad we have it, some woman will always claim that they have it worse than that. We me…

Sorry for the delay in replying. AVO is what we use in Australia. It means an Apprehended Violence Order. Issued by the court and enforced by police to keep violent or dangerous persons away from a victim. Generally the victim would have to go to the police to get one organised and then the process kicks in. The judge can issue the order to restrict the perpetrator to have to stay away from the victim with a minimum distance (meters or kilometres) The perpetrator can be arrested and jailed if th…

Your son should get an AVO against her. That’s part of the way to get away. Legally documented evidence. And recordings if ahead breaches. My wife and I will keep you and him in our thoughts and prayers. All the best to you both.

I’m going to say this plainly. If the house is his, he needs to kick her out and change the locks. If the house isn’t his then he needs to get another place and just move with no forwarding address. People like her will not change and, I’m being frank here, she will still claim mental illness while you visit him in the morgue. He needs to make the tough decision. This is what is required of him as a man and if he had children in the same situation, he knows he would require them to make a simila…

The best men are internally strong, self assured, patient, with strong convictions and rules. Nothing here refers to money, looks, build or colour. These men are initially overlooked by women but in the long run, these men are the real winners. Stay the course

I might suggest you just be yourself and when anything comes up about what feminism is saying that you know is BS, then just call it out of express your opinion on that. Men see that and then can see that you are more down to earth and level headed. Overtime, the opportunity to talk about the injustices that men experience will come up and you will have them realising that you do support mens rights. It is not necessary to express it as an ideology or a flag (eg I am a MRA supporter) your action…

A more straightforward approach would be to pull her aside one day and say “Hey, I didn’t appreciate the way you spoke to me the other day. I found it hurtful and made me wonder if I had said something to upset you. Let’s talk about it…” The thing is, good friendships are hard to find and develop. Expect some rough entanglements from time to time and while keeping the focus on a positive future where your friendship will be stronger, you can guide the conversation in that direction. Nothing vent…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
