So they're complaining that women are shallow and only want the top 20 blabla, and then they go around fatshaming us. Shallow af.

Feminist have been working for this for literally more than a century. We havnt been the underdog in like what, a couple of years? We are finally being heard to some extend, and we had to work hard for this. You cant just deny that women have been treated like second class citizens for ages. Again, no one is denying men dont struggle with shit.

Im sorry but thats not a valid answer. If you make claims you you need to be able to argument them. Also I took a peek at your profile and I cant help but laugh. You’re saying us feminists are just clique mentality but you don’t see how the red pill and the manosphere is doing exactly that?

If you challenge people to debunk ‘these truths’ you’re going to have to be specific on which ones. Just telling us which ones you’re not talking about doesn’t help

Yes I think OP is confusing confidence with arrogance. Expecting men to be ‘alpha’ arrogant go getters is absolutely toxic masculinity. Confidence doesn’t mean you can’t have any insecurities. It’s more like being in acceptance of who you are, embracing your insecurities and awkwardness for example. I’m a confident person but I have insecurities, and some days these insecurities are worse than others. But I’m very aware of my self worth, I like myself as a person, I know what I stand for, I don’…

My mom has given up on men a long time ago, and she doesn’t give two shits about marriage either lol. Her marriage to my father wasn’t a happy one either and all the men who came after him were in no way beter. She’s very happy now with her dog and her cats and her books and her music and paintings.

The solution is, start giving only genuine compliments without alterior motives. I don’t mind compliments at all, but 99% of the time the compliments don’t feel genuine at all, more like ‘compliments go in, sex comes out’ I am blessed with an amazing group of friends and even acquaintances where men compliment each other and and women compliment men without it being interpreted as sexual/romantic interest and men compliment women without it having an alterior motive. We openly discuss periods an…

Also this comic doesn’t translate the mostly lustful and/or condescending tone these things are usually said in. And I actually do compliment men, all the time. Just not complete strangers in the street, I mean that’s just weird.

Yep. I know when I got to my late 20’s I started relaxing a lot more and caring a lot less about what other people thought of me, and that only grew stronger in my 30’s. I’m 37 now and I have to say I have actually never felt beter and more confident with who I am and what I look like. I’ve been in a relationship for six months because I met an amazing guy, not because I was desperate. I had been single for a couple of years prior, not because no one was interested in me but because I’d rather b…

You’re not a loser nor an asshole. You tried and you reached your limit and that’s absolutely valid. Being an empathetic person doesn’t mean being an emotional punching bag or being a doormat and giving up all your needs for someone. Some expressions are a cliché for a reason, and ‘you can’t poor from an empty cup’ is one of them. And if affection is important to you, and that’s the thing that shuts down first when she is stressed, then your cup will run empty very fast. My boyfriends love langu…

Bro tell her that you’re sorry she feels this way, hear her out why she feels that way. Tell her that you understand how that might hurt, but that it’s reasonable to want a private chat with just your friends, and that if she struggles so much with feeling rejected, she needs to work on that, maybe see a therapist, because while you can empathise with her feelings, it wouldn’t be fair to set your own basic needs aside in order to tiptoe around her triggers. Or something amongst those lines. You …

The ‘if you can’t handle me at my worst you can’t have me at my best’ is something to be implied within reason. It shouldn’t be used as an excuse to be a shitty person. Like if there’s more ‘worst’ than there is ‘best’ that’s not ok. You’re not supposed to be someone’s therapist. Partners are -imo- supposed to be supportive, but they can’t fix shit for you, that’s your own job. And while everyone deserves to be loved, not everyone is mentally healthy enough to be in a healthy relationship. For e…

You were honest, open and vulnerable, and you set a boundary. These are things emotionally mature people do. If it makes her see you as a ‘lesser man’ that says everything about who she is and nothing about you. Imo it makes you an extremely strong man because your masculinity isn’t so fragile that you feel like you need to hide your vulnerability. I find this extremely admirable and respectable, and this is a very attractive quality in a person. You should be absolutely proud of yourself. Did i…

I always assumed masturbation was considered as normal for men which is why they joke openly about it, cause we know they are doing it and it’s part of life. And for women it’s celebrated as empowering because for the longest time it was thought women don’t have sexual desire so they aren’t masturbating, and for women to talk open about this is to reclaim their sexuality as valid. I’m not saying I’m right and you’re wrong, just how I see it. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle. Because I …

But what is good looking? That’s different for everyone. Tastes differ. I think my boyfriend is incredibly attractive even though he has certain qualities that are supposed to be unattractive. He has a lot of body hair (which I love) he is pretty chonky (which I also very much love) and because of this he also has a lot of stretch marks. I didn’t say men don’t have feelings at all? I said they have been discouraged to show/discuss them. Which is where the expression ’man up’ came from. I’ve seen grown men bawl their eyes out. Of course men have feelings. Humans have feelings. That was my entire point. And again, it was men who told me this. Not women, not feminists. Men. I criticise women as well. Or better said: I criticise people when they do something I don’t agree with and when they happen to have a vagina idc it’s about the…

Average is about 5 - 6 inches if I’m not mistaken. I don’t think weight has anything to do with it however I can image that if the .day is very big, het vagina is less accessible and then a bigger penis would be more convenient. My boyfriend is an inch taller than me. I’m 5,6 he is 5,7. I would love him just as much is it were the other side around. I know plenty of guys who are below 6” that have girlfriends. Very well put and I agree with every single word, including the misandry of some feminists that only make things worse and destroythe credibilityof what true feminism (imo) is. I hope so very much that we can get past this men vs women thing, from both sides. I hope your brother heals without radicalizing. I think part of the problem is that because of gender stereotypes men don't really have a lot to turn to because you know, feelings are gay. /s

‘Because of my bad experiences I now see women like just normal people who can be either good or bad’ Why would be anything more or less? That’s what we’ve been trying to tell you all this time. Where have you come across these women? Because 10 inches is ridiculous. Was this in porn? We’re it women who have actually experienced a 10 inch dick or was it more like a phantasy? I know plenty of average men who enjoy casual sex and don’t have to pay. Also It all depends on what kind of person you’re chasing. If you’re going to chase somebody who values outside appearances and fancy cars and bling or whatever than you know you’re going to have to answer to equally shallow standards. And women don’t choose the best of the best out of 100 men. They fall in love with someone who they vibe with and have similar values in life and are sexually attracted to. Sexual attraction …

You want sex and validation and that’s absolutely valid. And I understand that, from your point of vieuw it seems amazing. Omega Lul means huge dick in Flemish/ Dutch. You commented something in German. No need to reduce this to something childish. I thought only evil women are manipulative. The guy with autism who took my virginity was 16 when he lost his. I’m not saying it will definitely take you another 7 years. I’m saying it’s not impossible and you’re not doomed and things happen when they happen. And stop saying women have it easier in regards to basically everything. That is such a weird and skewed way of thinking. When we were together he was the only man I had. Imagine you had sex with 3 girls and you fall in love with a girl and she loves you back. She is a virgin, you had sex with three girls before her. Would you ‘easily’ replace her? Why would you think it’s any different when the sexes are reversed? People aren’t toys. They aren’t interchangeable objects. That’s not how you treat anyone. Were you raised by robots?
/r/ExRedPill03/06/22 10:46 AM

That’s not how I look at it at all. Your productivity does not define your worth. That’s what society like to dictate but that’s simply not true. I’d rather date a homeless virgin who has the same values, sense of humor and interests as I do, and is a genuinely respectful and kind person ( not a nice guy in order to get something out of it) than some rich arrogant guy whit 5 cars and a lot of experience.
/r/ExRedPill03/06/22 03:03 AM
4

No it doesn’t. Everyone has their own timeline. Having sex doesn’t make you a better person. Just like having a car doesn’t make you a better person than someone with a second hand car. You are an equally valid and valuable person as I am. Who told you otherwise?
/r/ExRedPill03/06/22 02:54 AM

Because he wasnt inferior? Someone’s virginity does not dictate their worth. I don’t see anyone as inferior to me tbh. There’s just people. Some people I relate to a lot and others not so much. But I don’t think I’m worth more or less than anyone else. And it’s not a contest. I didn’t win because I had more experience and he didn’t lose. He was a nice guy and we had fun. Who cares what he had done or didn’t do with his penis before?

Listen to me. It’s not over. Being autistic doesn’t mean you are doomed. In fact the guy who took my virginity is on the spectrum. A lot of my friends are on the spectrum. And it’s true, they do struggle a little more than my neuro typical friends, but it’s not impossible at all. One of my favorite people in the world has autism. He lost his virginity when he was 27. There is a sub for sexworkers on Reddit. You could always ask for advice there if you’re concerned about the ethical part. I’ve read some really wholesome stories there, for example a guy who just like you wanted to lose his virginity and went to an escort but was so nervous that it didn’t work out, and he made a post about it. But what many find attractive implies there are also a good part of people that find different things attractive. So it does help because it’s reassuring that there are people out there who will find him attractive. Also this dude in particular isn’t bad looking at all. Nah I think looks are very much subjective. I find most stereotypical good looking people unattractive for example. They’re just so generic and boring looking. I like faces with character. I also believe hat people find attractive has a lot do to with what they have been conditioned to find attractive via (social) media and such.

One of the many things I find ridiculous about f& and other redpillers alike is that they are basically mensplaining what women want while they obviously aren’t very successful in that department. You say you don’t want to imply that I’m a sex worker, yet you repeat that the average looking men had to buy dinner and gifts, aka money goes in, sex comes out, aka sex worker. I know but those feeling of entitlement are usually preceded by feelings of loneliness and everything else I mentioned and maybe op is intelligent enough to seek help before it gets to the next stage. Plenty of those men were what you would consider ‘average’ (according to your perceived standards of what women want, not mine) and they didn’t ‘pay for everything and do exactly what I want’. I think you might benefit from mindfulness. I know it sounds woowoo but in the end it’s about accepting that you are where you are, and it is what it is, and being anxious about things is a feeble attempt of your mind to control situations it can’t possibly control. I used to have a lot of social anxiety and I more or less grew out of it. Ok just to give you another perspective since this ladies comment isn’t really reassuring. I have had sex with 50+ men in my 37 yrs on this earth. I have seen, felt and fucked a LOT of dicks and I actively prefer an average sized penis. I do NOT enjoy a huge penis. I sometimes joke that an average penis is like the Swiss Army knife of penis. I think exactly because of the stereotype that black men have huge shlongs. The idea of bigger = better and the general obsession with penis size is already damaging for men, I think it’s even more damaging for black men since a lot of people expect them to have a baby arm down there, so they feel more insecure when they THINK they’re not up to par. But I’m a white lady so I am curious what an actual black man’s perspective on this is.

I actually don’t mind women being housewife’s, to each their own. But you complaining that women have it easy because they can be supported by men just is bs. And deliberately looking for a young girl to breed just feels yuk. If unattractive people women have to work and attractive people don’t need to than that’s not female privilege, if anything it shows how shallow men are and that womens value is attached to their looks, not their personality so I would say that’s the opposite of a privilege. Are you serious? Let’s unpack “Women can probably find someone to pay their bills, if they are attractive“ so unattractive women don’t count as human? Lol why do you think men ‘have to’ settle ‘so much’ in the non- physical aspects? That’s just making you sound like a shallow douche who again thinks women are basically worthless but you need someting to stick your dick in and breed your offspring so you need to deal with this hassle wether you want it or not. (Not saying you are, just saying this is making it sound like that) I mean have you considered dating is hard because of this attitude and not because of women? It’s all kinda baffling to…

What’s confusing to me - but maybe I’m mixing up my pills and their ideas - is that these guys are complaining that women are shallow because they go for ‘chads’ who are assholes and don’t have eyes for the so called nice guys but then actually they just want a hot piece of ass where the personality is optional? So basically a ‘Stacy’? So basically doing the exact same thing and whining about it?

I’m confused. You’re saying that a womens only value is what she looks like and her personality and the other stuff is a bonus? Like you guys are just looking for a doll and then complaining dating is hard or am I completely misunderstanding things

This ‘all women want bad guys untill its too late blabla’ is just as eye rolling to me. There are men who want to commit and there are men who don’t, there are women who want to commit and there are women who don’t. Have you considered that the guys complaining that women only go for assholes blablablabla are the female counterpart of those assholes? I mean maybe if both genders stop whining and just enjoy their lives and spent time enriching themselves, a lot more people would attract a partner…

So you’re saying both men ànd women should stop having casual sex, you are actively slutshaming women who have the audacity to enjoy sex outside of a relationship but you have casual sex yourself? You sure sound like a catch.

I'm 5.6 and my ex was 6.2. I've also dated even taller guys and I still dgaf. My current boyfriend is 5.7 and I think he is about the most attractive guy in the universe. Less neckpain too. I'm interested in the person, not their size.

I am happy by myself because I just am, although I do long for a connection. So while I’m open to a relationship, I don’t want to have a relationship for the sake of having a relationship. It’s has to be the right person or I’d rather be alone.

I’m f36 and got together with my boyfriend 34 at a tiny last minute nye get together with a couple of friends. I had known him for 7 ish years though. We are part of the same friend group but we’re both in a relationship when we met, and since he is a bit of an awkward nerd he didn’t come out as much as the rest of us did. In fact if his ex girlfriend (they’re still close friends and she’s a great friend of mine as well) hadn’t forced him to go outside that night, he would have probably just end…

I honestly don’t understand this debate either. I never expect a man to pay for the date and it doesn’t make me feel ‘less valued’ I’m not looking for a cash cow, I’m looking for someone who’s personality, interests and values are compatible with mine. I’m perfectly fine on my own, I’m only interested in a relationship for a sincere connection and I honestly thought that was basically the essence of love/relationships, but I’m pretty shocked at how shallow and transactional Reddit’s view on rela…

I think it’s because back in the day it was way harder for a woman to live independently, but while I understand it’s origin, it’s outdated and is indeed a double standard.

Yep. I think my boyfriend is extremely attractive and I want to jump his bones all the time. But he's not 6" and he's chubby so not classic Chad. He's a weeb and he's awkward and I think he's about to most gorgeous man alive and one of the best fucks I ever had.

I think being charming is more important than looks for a cold approach. The only way I would react positively on a complete stranger approaching me is if he was able to make me laugh within the first few minutes. Or maybe if they were endearingly awkward, but those aren’t the guys who coldly approach anyone.

I am probably the opposite of a tradwife, but thats highly personal. I think everyone should live the way they want as long as they aren’t hurting anyone obv, and it seems like both of you are very loving and happy, and I’m honestly happy you found each other. There seems to be a lot of bitterness when it comes to love and relationships in this sub, and it’s refreshing to read about a successful relationship here, even if it doesn’t look like what a successful relationship would look like for me…

NYE party. We had known each other for like 7 years but not very well since he is pretty shy and silent in social settings. He happened to sit next to me and we started talking. Realised he is really attractive so I asked him if I could kiss him. Ended up hooking up that night. Sent him a message to ask if he wanted to hang out sometimes one week later. Told him I really liked him after a few dates. He’s awkward so I knew I had to make about all the first moves but he’s well worth it. Boyfriend …

You say that as if that’s a bad thing? Would you date someone you don’t find attractive? Mind you attractive doesn’t necessarily equal what society says is ‘good looking’. And when you meet someone through friends, chances are you have things in common with already. Maybe some women are looking for a rich tall guy with a six pack and whatever, but most of us just want an authentic guy who is emotionally mature and nice. Attraction is a combination of a lot of different factors.

As a women I can absolutely say this is the way.

How about women who aren’t good looking?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/22 12:40 AM

Well maybe the problem is people who reduce people to numbers. I personally never think someone is out of my league or that I am out of someone’s league. Honestly this all just sounds as self induced suffering, obsessing over who someone has slept with, reducing yourself and others to numbers. It’s all horribly shallow - which is kind of ironic since that’s what a lot of redpillers seem to accuse women of - and in a way it sounds like something to hide behind instead of working on yourself imo.

Well I’m glad you would and I sincerely hope you find someone equally not-shallow. I was just wondering if u/stunning-spirit5275 is mad because (in his mind) women are like this, are all people are like this. Again I can honestly say I have been attracted to men who were ‘ugly’ according to societal standards because they were attractive for a ton of other reasons. And obviously I don’t speak for all women, but I’m also sure I’m not some kind of unicorn. Either way I wish you both a loving partn…

I’ve actually become extremely bored with generic attraction. Look at those overly filtered Instagram faces. They lack every kind of personality. And I honestly can fathom a relationship without a connection, I mean isn’t that the entire point of having a relationship?

Is there data on his? And is it reliable? I don’t remember filling in a questionnaire. So would you date an ‘ugly’ poor girl if she had a great personality? Say she’s a redhead with an a cup.

I have to disagree. While I’m sure that’s the truth for some women, it’s not the truth for all women. Also attraction is very subjective. I would have to be attracted to a person in order to have a relationship with them, but that doesn’t mean he has to adhere to societal standards of what is deemed handsome. What makes someone attractive to me is the entire package. The stereotype for men used to be that they wanted skinny blondes with huge tits, preferably submissive. Is that true for you? Edi…

Well if it makes you feel better, the guy I’m dating and am absolutely crazy about is also a tad shy and awkward. In fact I made the first move because I knew he wasn’t going to lol.

Don’t worry, some people are just late bloomers. I dated a guy who had his first kiss at 23. I know plenty of guys who lost their virginity in there late 20’s. I’ve noticed what they have in common is that they are all a tad shy and/or awkward. Honestly I find that incredibly cute. What I don’t find attractive is a needy or desperate vibe, and while I can understand that after a while of longing for what is basically an essential human need, it’s easy to become desperate, I think in 90% of peopl…

But those absolutely are attractive qualities! What makes you think you were lied to? I mean of course there are shallow women out there who go for ‘chads’ but just as many women aren’t. Just like there are terribly shallow men but that doesn’t mean all men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 09:58 PM

I don’t know your situation, but I’m guessing you haven’t had a lot of dating experience? I can absolutely imagine that being hard, and making you feel insecure or angry or … but: do you really think that the reason you have little experience is solely because of women being shallow?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 09:55 PM

The irony is, I’m not at all attracted to chads. I just want a decent guy who is authentically nice (not nice-guy nice which is essentially not nice at all) with whom I can have a conversation and be comfortable with and laugh. What makes someone attractive is so much more than those ridiculous stereotypical looks. They are pissed off because they aren’t chads, and it’s that goddamn bitterness and envy that makes them unattractive imo.

I don’t find shredded men attractive tbh. And I like chilling on the couch and I don’t want to go work out or go on a crazy hike all the time, which is indeed what his profile seems to imply. And my boyfriend is 5’7. The idea that al women want shredded active richt tall guys is a true as “all men want a 21 yr old babe with huge tits and ass that doesn’t talk back” While there certainly are both men and women who fit this stereotype, a lot of them don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 02:24 AM

Good looking is very subjective. Not all women are looking for some tall beefcake. My guy is like a hair taller than me (I think he’s 5’7, I’m 5’6) and has a big belly (which I freaking love) Not all women are shallow just like not all men are. There’s good people out there with whom you can forge a real connection no matter what you look like.

When the niceness isn’t transactional. I’m currently dating a shy guy who’s into anime and videogames and a lot of things that are associated with so called neckbeards. He is genuinely nice and smart and funny. He is authentic, he’s not a simp, he just genuinely is who he is and that what makes him amazing. Nice imo doesn’t equal unattractive. The only ‘bad’ guys I ever dated were guys who pretended to be nice in the beginning.

First of al not only Rubens painted chubby women (maybe the term fat was a bit strong) plenty of artist during this period did. https://www.visagemedart.com/brief-history-of-feminine-beauty/ https://www.scienceofpeople.com/beauty-standards/ Believe what you want and have a nice day.

Ah ok, I’m a bit confused because these comments almost sound as if it’s wrong that woman still have preferences after the age of 30. Why would anyone just settle past a certain age? I’m 36 and if anything I’m just more aware of what I want and don’t want, and I would rather stay single than settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 07:52 PM

Lol beauty standards have shifted throughout history. Just look at the figures of women in Rubens paintings. Being fat was considered beautiful because it was a sign of wealth. Being tanned used to be considered ugly because only peasants who work outside on the fields got tanned, rich people were very pale. And I’m not talking about you specifically but how shallowness is not the nicest concept for anyone anyway.

I need to be attracted to someone, but what makes someone attractive to me personally has little to do with looks or money. And I honestly don’t know how to interpret health. If the man of my life happens to be in a wheelchair, than I wouldn’t care. Believe I’m lying all you want, I have the dating history to back it up. And I think being shallow can be wrong to some extend. First of all our beauty standards have been spoonfed to us all our lives. They have damaged people from all genders and ma…

Shallowness is not looking beyond what’s on the outside. I’m literally looking beyond what’s on the outside. You make it sound as if liking literally anything about a person is shallow, and if that’s your definition of shallow, I guess I am…but I’m pretty sure your definition of shallowness is wrong then. I’m honestly not trying to be an asshole. Im just trying to understand your logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 06:18 PM

When did liking intellect become shallow? I am interested in someone’s personality, interests, hobbies, worldview. You know, literally what’s on the inside.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 06:05 PM

See I honestly don’t really care about those when dating. I have dated rich guys poor guys tall guys short guys skinny guys chubby guys bald guys hairy guys whatever. Of course there are physical things I find attractive but I don’t ‘need’ those they are just bonuses really. I am more interested in personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 05:55 PM

I was under the impression that a shallow person is someone who only cares about looks/money and other superficial stuff, I don’t really see how that can be subjective but I might be wrong. When you said that your friend doesn’t get dates because he has a stutter, that seems objectively shallow to me. And wrong to think everyone would reject anyone just because they have a stutter.

Attractiveness is subjective, shallowness is not.

What kind of bs is this? My ex had a stutter, and I have known other guys with stutters having no trouble dating. Woman aren’t nearly as desperate nor shallow as they are painted here, shit.

So they had money and weren’t ugly. Have you considered its their personality that sucks?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 04:53 PM

Lol I have been called a slut several times by men irl. Usually after rejecting them. Not wanting to date someone because they are seen as a sex object still sounds like misogyny to me, since you’re the ones who have decided to use her just to get your dick wet in the first place. There is a bit of difference between shaming and preferences. When a woman puts a guy down or mocks him for being chubby, it IS called fat shaming. Fatshaming isn’t gendered.
