I do agree with you to an certain extent but it's definitely walking a very thin line to say if both parties are consenting and happy... would you say the same thing about an 12 and a 18 year old? I know it's a bit of an exaggeration but you see my point. There really are know definite right or wrong answers in how to handle the age/consent issue, it really is a grey area.

It's that and many other things, mostly stories posted on here, that many seemed to be dealing with Universities in Canada. I went to ASU, another one of the biggest schools in the country and I have never seen anything like that as well.

I had always thought something like this would would be a great premise for an Onion News segment. Have some large scale disaster and report stats like "Out of the 72 firefighters killed two of them were women Mary Jones and Jane Smith" and so on and go on about how there will be the Mary and Jane 12 mile walk and $500,000 in donations to female firefighter safety or something along those lines.

I love how in 2007 they deny parental rights to one guy who had no previous agreement with the mother and now they are trying to force it onto someone whom made a written agreement saying he would not be considered the father or responsible for child support. Ridiculous.

I hope she did time. A lesson needs to be taught to these psychotic nut jobs that this isn't okay. Same thing happened to a friend of mine last year and he also got her recorded on his phone making the same claims. Cops pulled him into the station after she made the false accusation, he showed them the recording and they just dropped it without pursuing it any further. Basically told him that women will be women bullshit.

All I have to say is that there have been numerous occasions where women have texted me after leaving my place asking why I didn't want to go further after they initially said no or denied any attempt at trying to get close with em. This is the reality of what it is and how some women play these mind games when dealing with any possible intimate interaction. To call this promoting rape culture is completely and utterly absurd.

This is something I truly cannot stand. What there was a a picture of four old white guys saying '100% White' or four black women saying '100% Black Women'. Just because somebody in office shares the same physical traits as you do how does that in any way correlate to them sharing the same view points as you and being the best possible representative. Single minded people wearing blinders...

I appreciate all the replies ladies and gents. I have to say I'm not going to press charges mainly because this was so long ago and I don't associate with most of the people involved with the exception of one or two. Many of them were my friends at the time of the incident. Also like someone mentioned I don't feel distraught enough to attempt to put someone I don't know through the possibility of jail time.

My main point exactly, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing that they're raising breast cancer awareness but I think the effort would be much more effective if they promoted something that actually would do soooo much more to benefit their target audience. But of course as stated it really is just a cheap attempt at marketing towards women. Seriously doubt the genuine nature of the whole thing.

It sucks that this has become the standard of society. If I or your friend decided to make a report we certainly would be badgered by people who were saying we were making a big deal out of nothing. If sexes were reversed and did make a report Lifetime would make a god damn inspirational film about it.
