So the issue is corrupt police , media making a bs story and media not acting responsibly . It seams to me that the issue is not his name being revealed or him being smeared. I would hate to live in a world where I did not know what was going on could be abused by powerful people.

The boy did not get sent to jail, he was complaining about his name being smeared because the press gave out his information. I was just making the point we cannot shut down the press like this due to some people being smeared in the process. If someone is found guilty he is guilty due to evidence not due to being smeared by the press. And no I dont want to see people go to jail that are innocent, why would you even ask?

I dont agree , yes some people are found not guilty however think of all the people that are guilty and get away with it due to paying of or a lack of evidence. Most sexual assault crimes do not get punished to due to the crimes being committed in privacy thus harder to prove. Imaging if the crimes towards Weinstein or trump did not get publicly discussed nothing would ever happen. And yes I feel for this kid however what we would loose in security for the people that do come out is to much .
