Objectively, I found it hilarious: Pickup artist, life lessons, teenagers. It's not inconceivable that he's right and just wants to help. You can tell when people are telling you something because they feel superior in their knowledge compared to those who learned it humbly and pass it on as unconditional gifts in which they simply hope for the best. Go to /r/cancer and find out how to do it slowly but surely. I keep a post-it note on my laptop with the following: Don't Ignore Your Dreams Don't Work Too Much; Instead Play Say What You Think Cultivate Friendships Be Happy. Sometimes you forget simple things so I keep it handy and try to keep it in perspective when I'm doing stuff.
