Mostly friends from college, we had a tight group and most of us still hang out since we all ended up in the same metro area. Otherwise I hang out with a couple work friends and some friends from my old retail job that I had in college, although they live in a different city an hour away so I don't see them as often.

Other than bars/clubs and joining clubs/groups what other options are there as an adult? I don't drink anymore so I haven't been to a bar in years, not to mention most of my friends prefer laid-back breweries as opposed to bars as those tend to be crowded and kinda unsafe because I live in a large city. But even when I would go to bars/parties in college I found it hard to compete with the plethora of chads there. I could be talking to one girl and having a good conversation but I'd turn around …

I've tried working out to lose weight and get fit, changing my clothes/hair, socializing more, changing my pictures for OLD. I don't think my face is that bad, I've had women tell me I'm cute before. I also have a stable job and a decent income. So I'm just not sure, maybe I'm just socially awkward because I have ADHD. I have gotten laid before, but that was back when I was in college and was around enough single girls my age that I got lucky to find someone. The adult world seems much more diff…

I'm unfortunately an average man and I've tried every technique/piece of advice I've heard over the years but I've found that all of my efforts have essentially been multiplying by zero because I'm 5'4". So I guess I'm going to try and just do things that make me happy and improve me for me for the rest of my life and try t…

It is possible he waited a few days before taking action, getting affairs in order and such. Posting on Reddit would not likely have been a priority. However we still do not know for sure and should not buy into it until we do.

There are certainly people who think they have depression when they really don't. I was diagnosed because I had most if not all of the symptoms of Major Depression and my mother has it as well. Depression is labeled a mental disorder by the American Psychological Association and a lot of suicides happen because of depression. Suicide is not always caused by depression, you're right about that. Its sometimes an act of desperation, for example a Gay high school student in Texas has homophobic pare…

As someone who has diagnosed depression, without my medication, I often get feelings of worthlessness, guilt, and melancholic thoughts for no particular reason. Bullying can cause these though but at my school there is practically no bullying and I have never been bullied either online or in person during both middle and high school. Depression is caused for a multitude of reasons.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
