I’m not saying, that the software engineer job is not admirable. The discussion we’re having is should a leader be admired? Again you’re right but you missing the point, yes they can both switch places and probably fail BUT there is more software engineers than people with successful business ideas NOT because to start a good company you need to be a genius but because they’re are less people willing to take that risk.

Okay let’s not make it about a physical labor, you’re right there’s thousands of programmers that could create a better website than than amazon, how many of them actually did? they “WORK “ for someone. It takes $0 to try and create their own website on their own time but they won’t. That’s why they’ll be on payroll working for someone who actually did.
