My husband opens up to me all the time, and I'm attracted to him. We've talked out our feelings our entire relationship. In a healthy relationship, should be able to share how you feel. Do you have any female friends? That might be a start. I have male friends that talk to me.

Agreed. Girls that blossom quite young and maintain that level of beauty likely never realize how easy their lives are - and may also remain underdeveloped in other areas. Girls that are average or mediocre looking tend to develop intellectual skills or interesting hobbies that depend far more on their performance than their level of attractiveness.

This issue is deeper than a gender conflict. If I saw a man getting mugged, I'd pull out my phone and my pepper spray, call 911, then try to help - no questions asked. The question shouldn't be about men helping women; it should be about people helping people. Would a man help a man in the same position? Would a woman help a woman? This is in response to the article you linked: I go to a Liberal college in the Appalachian mountains. I'm a petite female, and if I arrive at a door, I hold it open to whoever is behind me. At first I did it to be ironic. I enjoyed the double takes and curt nods guys twice my size gave me as they walked through the door. Soon,it became a habit, and then a courtesy.
