Idk if this will help but my girlfriend started talking to me by finding an excuse to text me. So u could try asking him if he can give u the homework cause u lost it or something... And then try to strike up a conversation in class etc. When u start talking to him more than start dropping signs (I’m a boy so I don’t really know but this is what my girlfriend did).

Its not that I'm lonely or something like that - no. But this girl is special, its not that she's out of my league or anything and its not like she's the most popular girl or hottest girl.
