The insidious and maddening part of limerence is that everything else in the world other than the "limerent object" becomes dead to you. The world seems boring and meaningless without this one person, and therefore anything in your life can seem pointless. And this is where I think oneitis and Limerence differ. 5	TIL Oneitus has actually been researched and studied by psychologists. It's called "Limerence." It is intense, and I'm one to admit that I fall prety to oneitis way more often than I should. However, upon reading about Limerence, it seems to be way more than what I actually feel (in fact, I have a case of oneitis going on right now, and limerence just seems way more intense, even though oneitis is bad on its own)	/r/seduction	08/09/11 06:30 PM
