Oops. Oh well. I googled it in 30 seconds. Here's a better one: http://www.thelocal.se/12046/20080527/# Even better, the guy went to the police because some woman gave him oral sex when he didn't want it. Wasn't laughed out of the station. Jokes on you.

Obviously, a male's rape testimony had to be taken seriously for that female to have been convicted.

You hold a fragile position: http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/march/16/newsid_2521000/2521053.stm

Don't even try to deny it, you'll just be proved wrong. Good. That is exactly how it should be. People should be skeptical, and people should provide proof. Otherwise, it's just the weight of your word, which is nil on the internet. (So show that "proving me wrong" stuff please.) On contracts: like I said before, enforcing labor obligations would be costly, unwieldy, and hugely unpopular. Especially in a place like America, the chance of implementing such policy currently is practically zero. We…

You realize that without any kind of statistics or proof, your rants sound just as ridiculous as any seasoned feminists? men can't make false rape claims What are you talking about, of course they can. No where near as often but they can.

That is interesting. Complicating factors in this scenario include: general trend of preference towards specialization instead of general practice as a career path (Partial example in Australia) and characteristics of females capable of acquiring MD vs "truly dedicated women". Here's a similar situation in the US. 81.8 percent of 1-8 grade teachers are female. Source. Yet I have been unable to find anything referencing a mommy tracking problem in the education system. The universities that provi…

Can't tell if trolling, or just stupid.

I was looking for info on "mommy tracking" itself because I am somewhat skeptical of its significance. What I meant by the "logic" was that if mommy tracking is such a problem, women joining any serious profession (police, politician, teacher etc.) would be a problem. I am not aware of any such problem therefore I am skeptical. Take teaching for example. 81.8 percent of 1-8 grade teachers are female. -US Bureau of Labor. Is there any evidence of "mommy tracking" problem in the US education syste…

Generalize much? You realize that without any kind of statistics or proof, your rants sound just as ridiculous as any seasoned feminists?

Interesting. Is there any data on this because I feel like the kind of person who would go through the trouble to get an MD wouldn't simply "mommy track" out for much longer than a year or two. Doesn't this logic also prohibit women from joining any "vital" profession in substantial numbers?

I didn't think there were doctor quotas. Assuming there aren't, any woman who makes the cut under equal standards deserve the job just as much a man do they not? I don't even know what you meant with the first line.

The real tragedy is that we aren't laughing this off as an obvious fake. Is it... plausible?

A self examination is where the woman checks her breasts for lumps with her hands. So no x-rays involved, unless she has x-ray hands. In which case, rock on.

I assumed its because women can do self exams. Hard to do self exams for stomach cancer.

Yes, I was talking to it with my friend and he also brought to my attention that breast cancer is a lot easier to detect, therefore more lives can be saved.

People will always find new ways to be stupid. The best way to avoid getting mixed up with it is to avoid the stupid people. It's just too bad that its not always an option.

Wouldn't the logical thing to do be to place the most emphasis on the cancer that kills the most people? According to the World Health Organization, that title belongs to lung cancer, killing twice as many as breast cancer lung (1.3 million deaths/year) stomach (803 000 deaths) colorectal (639 000 deaths) liver (610 000 deaths) breast (519 000 deaths).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
