Is there a way to learn such analysis without getting burned too much in the first place? Introspection is useful if you have the right questions to ask yourself, but I'm not sure what those questions are.

They're probably meeting different women than you and the ones in your social circle
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/19 08:48 AM

If women want financial independence, then why don't they study for and work at the higher paying jobs? But they choose to study for and work at jobs that pay less. Unless you think there's rampant gender discrimination in the hiring process still

Why is it rude to say I don't want to? It should be entirely understandable if someone doesn't want to do something.

I mean I can say the same thing about what you said. It's not innate to think that sex doesn't mean anything... Unless you do think that way

Literally nobody is arguing that. Guess you skipped that day in grade school when they taught everyone reading comprehension.

Why do you think young people are being encouraged to live inauthenticly? Why wasn't this happening in previous generations?
/r/ExRedPill12/07/19 07:48 AM

Why are you so sure that the people I'm referring to would be bothered by their partner's past history? I know I myself am not. If I cared to, I'd make fun of you again and say that you and your group of friends are the ones insecure about the past. For whatever reason, you seem to think everyone thinks like you do
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/19 03:05 AM

I am not. This is interesting. I suppose our social bubbles don't intersect much. I know exactly one man who, as you say, prefers really low n-count. People otherwise don't care about their partners' pasts, or else are in open relationships and the such. How is that those people you mention are sexually promiscuous but don't like their partners being the same way in the past? Sounds rather hypocritical.

Who knows. All I know is you are mostly wrong and you are just trying to justify being a bigot. Regardless of your opinion. Plenty of men want a LTR with sexually liberated women. Unless they are in a "red-pill" delusion.

Ah sure, that wealth is fictional to some degree. But it is real in the sense that they can slowly sell off their shares and get most of that 70 billion. Whereas the rest of us cannot do the same with Monopoly money, so it's not fair to call it communist propaganda. They do have access to 70 billion worth of assets with which they can direct the economy to do 70 billion dollars worth of things for them. And if you were to direct 70 billion worth of economic effort towards feeding hungry kids, I …

I mean, if you actually tried to purchase a controlling stake in Amazon, it would cost a good fraction of that. If the Bezos tried to sell their shares slowly, they'd get a good fraction of that $150 billion. What's your point?

I never said anything about how common gold diggers are. But to answer your question, obviously the signals for wealth are different in silicon valley. And why wouldn't someone who is looking for money and finds it be happily married? And if gold diggers are an anomaly as you claim, they won't have much of an effect on overall marriage statistics anyway.

At what point in dating are women asking for your bank statements? They don't need to ask that, they just need to see how you dress, what you drive, where you live... I must be misunderstanding you, because surely you are not trying to say that gold diggers don't exist, but that they only like rich men for their personality?

Very interesting, what benefits does being with a higher-status male provide a woman? If the male is already making decent money (so he can provide no problem), but no more money than those around him (so he's not higher status than other men), what is the point in choosing others over him?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/18 09:03 AM

Sure they are capable of it. And a great many women would abandon them in favor of the rich alpha males who'd send armies to destroy men who advocate for broad-scale societal change. You do know how many women Republicans there are, right? You do know that there are more female Republicans than female Democrats? And that Stalin got laid a lot even before he became dictator? (He certainly fit the bill of being "alpha," but he also was very much not capitalist.)

Thanks, I'm definitely already doing this as well. > There are people all over the place with all sorts of interests. That's for sure. My main problem right now is meeting more people outside of my usual circles, but I suppose as you say, trying out new things is a good way to do that. You give good advice. Wish I knew what else to ask you.

Another thought -- you mentioned meeting girls that play games. I'm not much of a gamer, but the games that I do play every now and then tend to make it a solitary activity for me. I don't even meet other gamers, let alone gamers who are women. The way I play games, I can't imagine meeting anyone else even if I played games a lot more. So I am really curious, how do you go about meeting other people who do what I assume is a mostly solitary activity?

I like hiking, for example. But the hiking meetups I've been to so far are filled with people over 25. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but as someone who's still 21, that's just a bit out of my preferred age range. Also, very few single ladies there. Maybe it's just somehow the groups I find myself in. For "mostly males" I meant things like poker and board games. I'm sure there are girls that like those things too. Just somehow not in the groups that I go to to play those things.

Good points, though as a tech guy myself -- yes there is plenty of money to be made if you create a successful start up. But look at the abysmal failure rate of startups. Sure there are some that make it big, but it's akin to winning the lottery. Most people who work at start ups would have done at least just as well financially if they had spent that time at a big company instead. Jesus man I hope that's just sour grapes. Do you have any experience with dating, from yourself or from just knowing other couples? Those things aren't as commonplace as you make it to be. It's not like anyone can just "start a business." You need capital, a good idea and the skills necessary to implement it, business skills, people skills, etc. Hell, a good portion of the population can't even find jobs, let alone start their own business. Is it the fault of the poor and unemployed that the economy is the way it is? If you never make an effort to improve yourself of course you'll be alone all your life. Of course. To be fair, they are lonely because they cannot find the men they want, similar to how FA men are lonely because they cannot attract any girl (whether they'd want said girl or not). That said, the situations are definitely not identical.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 08:35 PM

What makes you think that FA girls are getting asked out for relationships by guys, average or otherwise? And what is wrong with having casual sex? You certainly as well have some if you can't get into a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 04:06 PM
6

I can corroborate that some men just don't have the social skills necessary to pick up random chicks at a bar, no matter how many times they try. That said, the FA women probably aren't looking for casual sex the same way you are, so for them their single status is not exactly by choice either. What does hypergamy have to do with anything?

The entirety of your first response to me is basically, "Hey! Not everyone who doesn't get laid doesn't have any friends. I might not get laid, but at least I have friends!"
