It is and no wonder the "pro life" movement is made up of men and their enablers to force women to breed.

It makes no sense. Same with children traditionally having their father's surname. It is almost like men created society to have control over women when it should be women in control.

It is stupid. Before the second world war there was 12 branches of the Japanese royal family. The Imperial Household Act of 1947 reduced the royal branches to 1 and made it so princesses became commoners if they married commoners. So it is all of their own making and conservatives do not want to change it as it would break the unbroken male line as female blood doesn't count. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-39961749

I love it, but it is depressing that even hundreds of years later not much has changed.

Just horrible and the most extreme "second shift" I ever seen.

Men use every excuse under the sun to wave away their behavour. It is cultural gaslighting to stop people actually hold men accountable for their bad behaviour and nothing needs to be done about it.

It is heart breaking that after 20 years, it has got back to the way it used to be. All of those lives lost for nothing. No one is going to help them now. :(

Why blame men when you can blame women for men's failings.

There was a thread on AITA recently about this woman who is so obsessed with her kink that she couldn't bare to put the kink stuff away for her family to visit. The thought of it would make her too anxious as it was her safe space and it helped with her anxiety. After lots of comments saying it was not healthy and she needed therapy, the OP replied to say that she couldn't find a "sex positive" therapist.

I said to my OH that I will either keep my surname or we both hyphenate. We both hyphenated. He had to go through the same bullshit name changing as me.

It is based on the UK sitcom Miranda. It is about a character in her late 30s with no life direction with slapstick and humour.

Yes! It is disheartening that women are still dealing with the same bullshit.

Woah, I didn't realise that. 🤢 How did Aria get in that bar in the first place? I thought Americans were really strict about minors being in bars.

I think most women are in denial that men can hate them and may want to hurt them. Until it happens to them and they cannot deny it any longer. The veil lifts and it is terrifying. Then society gaslights them to think the problem is them and not all men are like that. There is enough men so there is a problem and society enables it.

Or that One Direction song she doesn't know she is beautiful. If she doesn't know her own worth, then he gets the benefits of having a trophy hot girlfriend with her settling for him. Confident women are harder to control.

In the UK, whenever I hear that a man is old fashioned or traditional, it translates that they are deeply sexist and often are bigoted in other ways such as racism or homophobia.

Same here. I thought it must be a bad sub if there was that much moaning about it, but everything sounds reasonable to me.

That is disgusting! I hope their wives/girlfriends take their daughters and run. That is the mindset of a pedo.

Yes it should be a huge statue. I am annoyed that the nude female statue has a shapeless blob for its base. It should have books and very visible quotes on its base from her work. Then people (men) don't go oooh tits and miss the point.

Writer Tracy King tweeted: "There is no reason to depict Mary naked unless you are trying to be edgy to provoke debate. "Statues of named men get to be clothed because the focus is on their work and achievements. "Meanwhile, women walking or jogging through parks experience high rates of sexual harassment because our bodies are considered public property." The female artist said " "Clothes define people and restrict people, they restrict people's reaction. She's naked and she's every woman. "Mos…

Queen shit! This reminds me of a song where this LVM cannot get over his ex girlfriend so he plans to stay on the street where they first met and not move. He hopes he can become famous so his ex girlfriend will come back to him. More like society pressures his ex to come back otherwise she is a cold b*tch.

So true. I was a pickme who had a fwb with a guy. There was so many red flags: 1. He didn't believe in abortion unless he wanted a girl to. He loved deflowering virgins. I wasn't the only girl in my friendship group he targeted. He had no respect for me. He called me my little porn star and groped me in public infront of his dad. He also dropped me when he wanted to get with another girl, then came crawling back when she wasn't interested. I stupidly fell in love with him and wanted to be with h…

Try using a nail & cuticle oil on them. I found taking a nail & hair multivitamin helps both my nails and hair grow faster.

I got high functioning autism. The society uses autism to excuse anything wrong/creep behaviour from men is stupid. People with autism can learn boundaries and good behaviour. Men use autism as a smoke screen to creep on/abuse women and get away with it.

Exactly what I thought I could do in my Pick me days. I thought if I jumped high enough, he would love me. instead he used me until there was a gf material girl in the picture and eventually raped me.
