Forget all the riddles and tricks (outer game) and work on becoming a better human (inner game), which is really just developing humility; genuine outer game will take care of itself once you have that sorted. This is generally not the place to find such help though. Read books, write, talk to strangers, learn about philosophy, volunteer, etc...

Agreed. This is not a good place to start (or really ever be). Take a look at markmanson.net - I believe he's a former dating/pick up coach who now gives much more healthy general life advice. He wrote a good book called Models that I wish i had read when I was your age - unfortunately I didn't find it until I had largely learned it all the hard way 10 years later. Ultimately, the only dating and life advice that matters is to become a better human. All of any of our problems come from a general…

Inner game is the only thing that matters. Look in the mirror and become a better human.

The smart fisherman leaves a net out, grows a vegetable garden and spends his time doing things that are more meaningful than fishing, knowing (but not caring when) fish will come his way.

I'll disagree with you again. Approach anxiety is not a thing in and of itself. Its a symptom of a deeper problem of insecurity. Work on that, and approach anxiety will work itself out. Furthermore, by pursuing your passions, you'll be meeting like-minded people in non-threatening situations that you both enjoy where approaching is completely risk-free. And from your probabilistic standpoint, you'll have a much higher likelihood of getting along because by both of you being there/interested in t…

Good post. Playing Devils advocate here though... The notion that we should approach every female that we find attractive (I realise OP didn't specifically say this, but most advice around here regarding approach anxiety does) assumes that we have nothing better to do with our time. It also assumes that they are someone who, if we are accepted, we'd be happy to be with. But in order to be personally happy, we need to be happy on our own. Which requires something(s) meaningful that you dedicate y…

There's no secret here. She has issues that need to be dealt with. Either talk to her more and get her to be comfortable or move on. I'd go with the latter as there's a world full of awesome people out there who have their shit together. It's not your job to save anyone in particular - she has family, close friends and other support opportunities for that. At the same time, don't "fuck her over" as that would make it all worse for her. Say how you care about her and sex is important to you (as i…

Agreed. Except clothes, gym and false confidence won't help. You need to work on you. Your mind. Think about what you are passionate about in life and go work on it. You won't care about anything else, you'll be proud of what you're doing, and like minded people will gravitate towards you. So don't wallow in self pity tomorrow. Be happy that you aren't stuck in a mediocre relationship and that you have time to start working on a project you care about rather than go for an overpriced dinner.

Don't think about being wanted/liked by girls. Similarly, and I'm just guessing, it seems that you try really hard to be the life of the party wherever you go so that you'll be liked. Just like yourself and you're set. If you have any amount of need for external validation, whether that's people inviting you out, your job title, earnings, possessions etc..., you'll never be happy. You must be able to happy alone (both without a romantic partner, and literally alone with no one else around) and t…

One other thing to try.... Grow a beard. I have a baby face as well and as soon as I grew a beard, I literally went from getting no attention from women to having them come up to me. I didn't even know how to deal with it.

Good on you for having the courage to ask her out. Even if she was single it might have been a bit out of nowhere and too direct, but that's a whole other conversation. Anyway, my advice to you is to take any advice from the seduction world with a huge grain of salt. There's two types of "game": outer game and inner game. Outer is 95% of what you'll see from this community, and its all just tricks, lines, schemes, riddles, rules, etc... for masking your own insecurities. Furthermore, they would …

Don't overthink it. Just text or call them whenever you feel like, say something to relate to what you were talking about when you met, and let the conversation continue and set up a date. If they don't respond or it fizzles out, forget about them - it could be for any number of reasons that have nothing to do with you, and why bother trying to convince someone to like you who doesn't.

I don't know... Something less creepy and manipulative? Seduction has no positive connotations and automatically puts newcomers in the frame of mind that they have to be manipulative. Attraction seems like a reasonable and appropriate name. It's ultimately what anyone is trying to do, whether through seduction/manipulation or more genuine means. And the genuine methods should inevitably be the only ones left since it's the only true way to become attractive in the long term. I should start a dat…

One niggling objection: don't even put women in the equation. Self improvement is worthwhile in and of itself. A positive side effect is that everything else in your life will improve, including dating. And a side point: being able to pick any woman up/be desired by all women, which seems to be the goal for puas, is a silly goal reserved for insecure people. If you're confident in yourself and what you're doing with your life, you won't give a shit if someone isn't interested in you. You've got …

I used to knowingly shoot myself in the foot all the time by calling people out on bullshit they say on a first date. But that's because I was going out with shitty, immature people to begin with. Now that I have a much better filter for my time and who I interact with, nearly all dates are good convo and sometimes lead to more. The fact that this sub is called seduction is the entire problem. You shouldn't be actively seducing anyone... It'll happen naturally if you've built yourself into a per…

And OP, if you're too nervous to talk to them in person or don't know what to say, then that's a signal that you need to work on yourself.

Talking to humans only makes you good at talking to humans (and perhaps not even that if you don't have much to talk about if you don't broaden your horizons). If you're trying to build a romantic rapport with someone, there's so much more than just an ability to talk. What are your passions? What do you do for work? Etc... Anyway, I suspect you have an immense amount of work to do in many areas. Fuck, I do pretty well with women and my entire life is revolved around trying to improve on so many…

You may like who you are, but obviously women don't if you can't get laid after 800 numbers... There's a bunch of good advice here from people... Good luck dude.

Your desire for a girlfriend and actions of getting 800 numbers and have a sole longing to get laid are completely incongruent. That required a huge amount of effort - it is who you are. Do you really think a girl is going to want to commit to someone who does that, likely at the cost of developing so many other life skills, when there's so many other options out there to choose from? You say you understand women's psychology but fail to see these most basic concepts. As others have said, this i…

I use Bumble almost exclusively over tinder now. But i have an intriguing profile, because I live an intriguing life. It's not for everyone, but those who are interested are very interested. Therefore I effortlessly have solid conversation with people from the get go, saving me a huge amount of time to continue doing interesting things with my life.

Sorry to say, but YOU are the problem. Clearly they are initially charmed by you, but it's just an act and there's nothing of substance behind it. You should stop approaching women for 4 hours a day and instead spend that time focusing on yourself. Read non seduction books, get some hobbies, do interesting things with your life. Inner game is the only thing that matters, and self development is the only thing that will get you that.

Also, if she's a boring, forgettable person, why would you want to have sex with her? Get something better to do with your time so you're not going out with people who you're mildly interested in just for the prospect of sex. You'll also probably end up having more sexual success as a byproduct of being a more interesting person.

Why would you ever whip it out under any circumstances? If you've got a connection with her, and you are making out, touching etc..., she'll be whipping it out for you... You're obviously not with the right people or building a good enough connection if this thought ever entered your mind. Have some self respect...

Glad I could help. Start it tonight. There's surely some other people in your area, or online, who share that passion. Start it, share it, and they'll come. When you follow your dream, work hard, do something different, the world tends to conspire to help you out. And when girls ask what you did on nye, tell them I started a graphic novel and I'm fucking jacked up about it. If you don't like it, I don't care (don't actually say that part, but believe in it). Some will think you're weird, but who…

The best/perhaps only cure for peer pressure/FOMO (and just general life success/satisfaction) is to find something you have passion for and work towards it. It's easy to say no to and/or ignore stuff when the fire is burning deep inside. Plus you'll have more dating success when you are actually doing something with your life. Happy new year - start it off with /r/stoicism and you'll be the one writing this a year from now. Inner game is the only thing that matters in life.

Own your decision. Tell them you stayed in because you had better things to do with your life because you're a man with a plan and have priorities greater than going out and drinking. Of course, only say that if you actually did something fulfilling rather than just watch Netflix. If you don't have a good reason, start working towards getting one

In my experience, conversation is effortless when you click with someone (romantically or otherwise). If you don't click, it's not worth the effort.

There's no trick or hack for conversation... Become more interesting and worldly. Read a lot. Experience things. Spend time alone reflecting on stuff. Write. Talk to people. If you do feel you have a lot to talk about, but conversation is bad with some people, then perhaps either they aren't interesting themselves or you just don't get along, so why bother pursuing them further?

Sorry, didn't mean to be rude. Anyway, what's the point of messaging someone who ignored you years ago? There's no chance they'd be interested, or even remember you, now. There's plenty of fish in the sea. Just move forward.

Why would you want to try to convince someone who isn't into you to, to be into you? There's a ton of girls out there... Have some self respect and move on. Also, if there's really that many who aren't responding, perhaps look inwards - self improvement is the only dating, and life, advice that matters. Outer game is just a cover up for insecurity and inadequacy.
