In some cases, is the realization that they don't have someone to treat like crap. Once they are alone and look at themselves in the mirror, they have their "oh shit" moment and they want you back to beat u some more. Is part of their self-esteem. In other cases, they are so delusional they continue to blame you as long as you are alive. Mainly because they are unable to blame themselves. This is the case that you want to disappear ASAP. In the best cases, she just wants out as well and sanity p…

Don't you go back. The few people I've heard that have done it, regretted it almost immediately.

Sorry to hear. Seems like I'm heading that direction.

"Happy Wife, Happy Life" is a VERY relative term.

A wise man told me that a true, sincere apology is an act of strength. Not a popular belief these days...

Angry apology or patronizing apology. And yes, the "career" victim gambit. That's one I fell for hook, line and sinker.

Were you unfaithful, her, or both?
/r/Divorce_Men03/04/23 04:02 PM

Yes, I think most of us know that. Question is about the behaviors, whether these emerged from deep rooted issues or not.

It does blur. My point is that those "little" behaviors just grow and grow if unaddressed.

I hear ya there. Same road, same result.

Well that is rough. What led to it?

Rule of thumb. She brings lawyer, you bring lawyer. For mediation, may not be necessary but do meet with lawyer beforehand.

She was not that "expensive", but in the long run hookers are cheaper.

I can't provide enough detail but what you describe is NOT case. I will grant you this; it was QUICKLY becoming that in the last 3 weeks. Maybe she got some bad advice or got the wrong notion. Of course she will be looking for another version; she has no choice. She has a job, but does not make enough. Good luck to her. And you do have a point re: child. The fact that I like him does not mean I have to send money to him.

"Many lose respect for men who "save" them after they make mistakes. Like having a child with no father taking care of it. " Well, I think you do have a point there.

Sorry if I was not specific. They never moved in with me!!!!!! She lives in her own apartment. I would not allow that, for many reasons.

Money is not an issue for me. I did it gladly as I truly cared about them. The manipulation s***... That, I cannot take. FWB is ok as long as the terms are clear and either side does not start doing dumb s***.

Actually I was not ruthless. Ruthless would have been doing it the FIRST time she attempted that. But once one reaches THE POINT, one MUST pull the trigger.

WANNA F***** BET? I'm in great shape, have a a good job and the looks are still holding up. Is actually a relief!!! You should try it sometime.

Of course, Barnes and Noble and most bookstores REEK of testosterone!!!! If we changed "Women" to "Men"?

Correct. In particular issues like abortion, 9/11, holocaust, etc. These issues are not good topics for jokes or satire. Again, my reaction was the serious anti-men commentary this caused on facebook. Seems like feminists took it seriously...
/r/MensRights20/05/19 01:10 AM

Reflecting.... There are some topics you don't attempt satire on. Abortion rights is one of them (9/11, Holocaust among others). No matter how you try to satirize, it will go wrong.

" Still it's driving discourse in the wrong direction " - My point exactly.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 12:54 AM

My fault. I should've included the replies in Facebook to it from feminists. That was the issue. Like someone else said, it is driving the discourse the wrong direction.

Yes. I do. It's the rhetoric it caused in Facebook that I mind.

Bad things happen when you ignore stupid people with a platform.

Could be. My take is that this issue has no room for humor. Is too serious...

You would change your mind if you saw how feminists are taking this. Comments in Facebook include: Vasectomies at 16 years old, castration, have men registered once they are able to get a woman pregnant, etc. This is religious-right going nuts and dangerously affecting women. It is not an anti-men issue. I am pro-choice. It is a decision for the parents, and in lack of one parent, should be a decision for the mother.

My reply was: Do you find this funny? May I remind that the Governor of Alabama is a woman. We are dealing with religious-right gone awry. It affects everyone, male, female or tg. Please don't blame men; we have enough problems within "God's plan" (whatever that is).

Abortion should not have anything to do with men's rights. It was likely linked to it by feminist rhetoric. Not MRA's fault that there are religious fanatics/rednecks out there pushing for this. The Alabama law is absolutely insane!!! No matter whether you're a feminist, MRA, extra-terrestrial... Unbelievable, but men's rights, again, HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!
/r/MensRights16/05/19 02:44 PM

ABSOLUTELY agree with Equalism, as much as I agree with #AllLivesMatter. Feminism has gone too far, #MeToo has gone too far. In a battle between Feminists and MRA's, there will be no winners. Only losers and broken children

<begin rant> WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN? I used to frown upon older guys dumping their wives and going for young girls. WHY? NEVER AGAIN! THEY ARE NOW MY HEROES. MY GOAL. Time to embrace hedonism while we can! So what if young chicks leave eventually, or keep all the money. WHO CARES!!!! After we die, guess what? "The ones who love us will miss us". Money won't matter shit! I think part of the problem is that we are being pussies instead of taking charge and forging a…

Most people watch porn when they can't get real sex (thank you, Cpt Obvious). If I masturbate to porn, I feel like a complete loser after I'm done. That does not make it wrong tho. FYI, women get paid a heck of a lot more than guys in porn. One thing is for sure, porn can get boring as shit after a while.

I open doors for women, men, children and transgender people. I'm fit so I stand in a full train. What other people call chivalry I call common courtesy. I don't get the Good Men project. How about a good people project?

Thank you for your comment. A marriage is a partnership. Granted, women should not "submit" (as in some conservative wedding vows), but neither should men. I think affection is a MAJOR issue, as it is often perceived as weakness and submission.

Agree, but people change... With all these points against, why risk it? I would advice my son to get a prenupt even if he's not wealthy.
