But like, it is better? I don’t understand. She did a good thing, I don’t think her motives really matter if the results are good.

I mean she also went way out of her way to put a cap on donations at $5, something I don’t think any other big streamer has done.

Yeah good point honestly. I got so wrapped up in the straw man I didn’t even think it might be fake. But in this context when it’s being taken seriously, it doesn’t really matter.

Please provide sources for your claims on divorce, the health of children decreasing, promiscuities effect on the brain and how it’s different and reversible for men. Until you do I won’t consider these arguments because they are fairly outlandish (other than the divorce one but I’d still like to see data). I would argue that the outliers are increasing and it’s easier than ever to find someone who shares a lifestyle and interests. The internet is amazing at building communities exactly like tha…

You’re talking about gender roles. Women biologically are mothers, as men are fathers (only if they choose to have kids mind you), but that’s not their sole purpose. I thought this was a men’s rights sub not a “men have to act in traditional gender roles” sub. What if I don’t want to be scary protector and overworked provider? What if the woman I settle down with doesn’t want to have kids and is a bad ass MMA fighter? There are so many people who want to live their lives on their terms and to sa…

Again, slippery slope fallacy. You can’t use a single tweet from a random person to say ‘well what if every woman felt this way?’ I bet I could find a tweet from some guy saying that all women deserve to die or something and I could make the same argument you are. Also there are a ton of women who want to settle down, maybe they just don’t like you? Please provide a sliver of evidence that a lot of women can’t settle down because of their past sexual partners. Your arguments are not based if fac…

Oh never mind then. Women weren’t made to be solely wives and mothers. It is ok for women to sleep with as many men as then want if they’re single and also if there is consent in a relationship they’re in. This is basic human freedom. However, feminism is not advocating for cheating to be normalized and encouraged.

No it doesn’t. This is a slippery slope fallacy. If someone wants to live their life like this so be it but this isn’t a feminist viewpoint and it’s not something that will be normalized.

Even if they do believe that, they’re one person using the hashtag of a huge group of people. This is not a legitimate feminist viewpoint

Yeah that makes sense but there's nothing like that in the US.

Lol thanks for that. I was thinking where do they even have 100 mph freeways??!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
