I'm the exact opposite of a psychopath. I have an extreme amount of empathy. It has made me highly attuned to emotional responses, attitudes and enabled to me to be able to make extremely impactful statements. It does come with crippling guilt though which isn't great.

This is what happens when adult concepts get misinterpreted. Last Minute Resistance is meaningful in the context of two adults who meet at a bar, are interested in each other, go back to one of their places for sex and the woman just goes cold at the last minute. The "rebellious" theory is way overblown. Teenagers start to assert themselves at that age rather than just do what their parents tell them as they have done up until then so parents see it as "rebelliousness" when it's really just growing up and becoming independent. It's not just an automatic doing the opposite of what they are told thing. If that was the case then parenting a teenager would be as easy as forbidding your children from doing homework and chores.

You can't fake attraction. Most guys have a range of women they are attracted to but if a woman falls outside of that range the attraction just isn't there and there is no way to force it.
