It took a year, you say? Strange, if she'd had a penis and had been talking about beating the dishwasher she'd have been gone in five minutes.

even with it being some rando black dude, it was about 40 years ago when he was mad that a close friend had been raped. You say all sorts of stupid shit in that sort of position, and to think anybody cares enough to take something said in obvious anger not only seriously, but decades later is just pathetic.

how dare he, roughly 40 years ago, succumb to an irrational and base anger over the rape of a friend of his (psh, probably white, who gives a shit about white people) friend with the heinous, unforgivable, hateful statement of wanting to kill the perpetrator of a rape (again, of a white person, so it doesn't really matter) by a black person who probably didn't know that rape was wrong. It's such a stain on Liam's character that he should never, ever, be forgiven for being angry that a friend o…

to be fair, if nasa actually did this (which i highly suspect they did not), it would be bullshit behaviour, but it's certainly not a rights issue. The reason I know this is bullshit? Because we're decades away from 'spacesuits' being pret-a-porter. Each one is hand-made and costs millions. If a woman who had cost the government millions already was training to spacewalk and magically didn't have a spacesuit, I'll eat a fucking hat factory.

what if you went to get insurance and the insurance company said "uh no, we just... dont like your face" and it turns out you had some slightly higher percentage chance to get cancer. Or you want to get a job doing something that required dextrous ability, and your dna said you had a slightly higher chance of developing ms or something similar. Very real problems. You're more than likely very right about infidelity though.
/r/MensRights28/03/19 04:36 AM

yeah, but once your DNA is out there, where does it end up? How can you tell? It's the same arguments against gun registration and for much the same reason, it's information that can and therefore likely will be exploited by somebody, sometime.

sadly, yes. A woman can beat the shit out of her boyfriend or husband daily and nobody gives a shit, but defend yourself just once and leave a mark on her arm as she strikes your face and you're a wife-beating bastard who should be publicly castrated.

> When people commit suicide they cost their own life. What's that supposed to mean? > Nobody MADE them do it. Heartily disagree. Heartily. Something you apparently don't get. > The victims in suicide are not those who committed it. Now you're blaming the person who killed themselves. You know, the victim of the suicide. You're victim blaming.

if it was, saying something, anything, positive about traditional role models is anathema to feminists and they absolutely ostracise and castigate him for it, then set about undermining anything and everything he's ever said or done, digging up anything and everything they can to misconstrue every viewpoint he's ever held about anything and they will use it to mercilessly attack and belittle him for it in a crusade to punish the heretic. It's SOP.

Well, I don't think it's wrong to say "don't hit people" but I don't think "never hit a girl" is a valid life lesson, though the accompanying "if you do though, a lot of people are going to be upset with you" definitely is. I always tell my kids, "don't start something, but see you finish it."
/r/MensRights24/02/19 09:48 AM

If this was reversed, the guy would have 50 people surrounding him, beating the absolute living shit out of him. But women can do this, it's almost expected that women will and can be physically upset with their significant others without any sorts of repercussions.

It happened to a friend of mine, or so he told me his parents told him. The nurses attempted to basically take him "for a routine operation that would make him much cleaner". He doesn't really know why, I guess his parents don't either, but luckily they stopped it. It's fine if you're happy with yourself, but I am still angry in principle that you didn't get a say in it.

It really wasn't. The whole point of WW's character is that she's literally never seen a man in her life. She's grown up on an island full entirely of amazons. If she said things like that and then was proved correct, then the movie would be an SJW piece of trash. But she's not correct. by definition it is not normal. It's been cut. And all that 'crap' under the foreskin is from what would ordinarily be protecting your dick. You pull back the foreskin and wash yourself. It's not difficult.
/r/MensRights17/02/19 08:27 AM
9

you shouldn't get downvoted for that, no. Basically the foreskin does a lot of important things, mostly based around protecting your penis from damage and infection, and features a lot of nerves that make either dates with rosy palm and her five friends or indeed forming the beast with two backs a lot more fun. You do of course have to clean beneath it, but for the vast majority of people, that's not a problem. If it is, you may have a problem (phimosis) which makes circumcision a good idea.

I think "hey, look at this... IT'S PINK AND THEREFORE SPECIAL!" is a pretty hypocritical thing to do, but, eh, some people apparently my pointing out that 'thing X, but pink' exist is... somehow wrong? I don't know, so they downvote it, so maybe people are just garbage.
/r/MensRights10/02/19 09:06 PM
2

you're not saying anything I either don't know or don't agree with, if you were wondering. Just pointing out that saying "pink tax doesn't exist" isn't exactly true. You're also right that the hypocrits complaining about it are acting as if all women are forced to buy the pink version and all men are forced to buy the blue version, none of which is true.
/r/MensRights10/02/19 09:00 PM

of course, that's what happens, especially once men and women both got pissed off with the hypocrisy.
/r/MensRights10/02/19 08:59 PM

at the same time, razors but pink is a thing that exists, and (although I haven't checked recently) they used to cost a good amount of for being pink rather than yellow.
/r/MensRights09/02/19 04:10 PM
-1

eh, arguably it does. I've seen $maleproduct but literally in pink and it costs more. No real reason, just that it's pink. It happens less nowadays, and there's always ways around it (there's a blue tax if you want to put it like that for $femaleproduct but in blue, like hand wipes... but for men that has the same kind of bullshit higher price) but it does exist. It's not "we must charge more because it's for women" though, no.

To be honest, getting up on stage and saying "I'm good at fucking women, they all love my penis" is pretty debased and pretty much fits the description of sexist remarks, so whilst it probably was overweight lesbians complaining about it, it wasn't exactly good form. It doesn't really deserve an article either.

the suggestion would be that through marriage, they gained social and economic stature, heirs, and a stable life. For men, they gained a wife, heirs and social stature, if not economic. Quite frankly, yes. When standards slip, are lowered or are outright thrown away in the pursuit of more vaginas, more brown, more koran, more something-irrelevant-to-the-placement, then you not only do a disservice to those who can meet the actual standards, but you erode -- if not erase -- trust in the system itself, and that leads to trust in the people taking up those places becoming non-existent, or at least lowered. I honestly don't think michelle should be held at fault here. As First Lady, she's thrust into the public spotlight whether she likes it or not. Wasn't this covered before? It is more like the BSA shitting on the GSA if you want to put it like that. Not quite, it's literally that the GSA sued feminists pressured (edit) to get girls admitted to the scouts, stating it was sexist, and then the GSA (edit) sued once the BSA wanted to drop the word 'boy' from their title because apparently the GSA feel they have more rights to the name. in other words, it absolutely IS feminists shitting all over things. Regarding historical sexual abuse scandals though, I don't know if …

this post needs more upvotes. telling people to break the fucking law is never a good idea. Posting and reposting a sob story with different details until you get some idiot saying to break the law is even worse. If you have evidence, you're going to need to find people who can help. It's going to be difficult, but you may need to end up suing the school, the district and the girl in question. Keep records of everything, record everything, every meeting, and get a lawyer.

circumcision is mutilation, pure and simple. A European friend of mine was almost circumcised because some hospital (in a country which absolutely does not perform routine circumcisions, thank goodness) tried to steal him away for a 'minor operation' and only his parents keeping total fucking watch on him all the time prevented it. it makes sense, you just don't like it. I'm sorry, I don't think "women kill less people in total, even though they kill their own children more, therefore you can't put a title 'teach women not to kill children'" makes any sense, when that is apparently precisely the problem.

that's cultural marxism to a proverbial T: tear down the successful and give it to the not, whether they're not because they didn't try or they're not because they couldn't. I don't think I disagree with anything you said, and basically totally agree that the situation is "complicated", and that's pretty much the problem. Feminists apparently want to have their cake and eat it. If men find women sexy, they're objectifying women. If men turn their gaze to sex dolls because they've been told doing that to women is sexist, then they're castigated for it. Ridiculous.

I think there should be, but that takes money. It takes an organization, a charity, and donors, and getting weight behind actually giving a shit about men has proven hard. It would be a good start. I don't have the energy for it, but if you do then please go for it.

My biggest issue with the current 247 genders bullshit is that they not only don't make sense, they basically reinforce mental illness. If feminists want to make gender irrelevant, go ahead, but then we should start using and enforcing biological sex as the divinator.

I don't think it's really worth getting that worked up over a comedy series. If it sucks, don't watch it, but in this case I really don't believe it's got anything to do with any sort of feminist agenda. It's a period piece, based around exaggerating and over-stating the way things were for both men and women during the early 70's, and newsflash, it was pretty shitty for women at that time, as well as for men. It's got fat and ugly strippers, corrupt cops, bully kids, drugs and alcohol abuse, sp…

bad laws lead to abuse of said bad laws. I'm not concerned about prosecuting and punishing liars who destroy mens lives (I'm concerned we don't punish enough liars about rapes, most of them women), I'm concerned about knee-jerk laws that set bad precedent. I don't see punishing a lie that has the very real potential of ruining a life as a "wrong". and I really didn't mean to imply I did. I am only worried about making laws too punitive and therefore unfair and/or easy to abuse. The Title IX abused are largely a result of lowering the standards of evidence, and no one is talking about doing that I mean that the title ix abuses are because of a bad law. In this case, it is lowering the standards of evidence leading to abuses where innocent people ar…

If someone isn't making a false accusation, why would increasing the penalty for making a false accusation deter truthful accusers? because it makes people say things like "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry". It's things like that which can and have led to abuse of rights and people. I understand the sentiment, and I totally agree that people who lie should be punished, but we can already do that, we just should. We don't need to change the law so much as enact what we alrea…

that's not what I meant. It's more that I don't see two wrongs making a right. We can already punish people for lying, if you tip the scales that far in the opposite direction, you're doing the same kind of bad decision that has led to the current crop of title ix abuses across america.

I don't think I made myself clear, which doesn't help. We already seem to be able to punish people for lying. making it mandatory won't work here, and I doubt it works anywhere. If you're talking about being punished for "contrary evidence" then we already do that, or at least can, so we should. I dislike making laws that are ripe for abuse, and my opinion is that if you make punishment mandatory for this situation, that it would lead to abuse in the same way that the well-meaning title ix chang…

Don't do this. Protest the practice, protest the institution, but if you're singling out a person, you'd better have a damn good reason for what absolutely will be misplaced hate. So, is there a good reason?

I agree with what you're saying from the outside, because at first glance things are pretty right-wing; there are so-called "far right" parties coming to power in Europe, the conservative faction controls both houses of the governmen in the USA and so on... but the culture is hard left, and it's that hard left culture which has caused this rightward swing in a few key outlier areas, a swing which is possibly just beginning or maybe isn't really even here yet.

Even the radical communistic IWW had their part to play in organizing workers and improving conditions against the rich and powerful. It depends where he works. If it's in a "right to work" state in the USA, he can get fired for sitting down on the toilet wrong if the boss so chooses. The woman, however, is a protected class by dint of her gender even then. The choice for an employer foolish enough to hire that sort of woman (or pressured into it because of social justice equity warriors) is simple: fire the man.

there may be a difference between the ages. Reading further down, I can see a sexual fling with a 16 year old which is definitely bad form (it's not illegal everywhere, but... ick, cradle robber), but the real crime there was alcohol (and being a cradle robber). If a three-year 'relationship' with a child turns sexual at 15, then that's not only sexual abuse but sexual grooming and means a deliberate predatory behaviour. I disagree in this case. The idea about adding "modern" to the word "slavery" is to show that it is slavery, despite "slavery" being illegal. If you're a captive worker, forced to work or starve (or punished), and if your 'pay' is docked to help cover the cost of your accommodation (also forced) and other needs, then you are a slave. The problem here, with his asinine idea (other than that it is a thoroughly asinine idea that only a braindead feminist could have shat out) is that "enthusiastic agreement" generally comes in the form of wordless kissing, petting, tearing off of clothes and then frantic amounts of horizontal mambo, reverse cowgirl, dirty sanchez and inverted chupacabra. None of this involves a rational and mutual verbal or written agreement indicating actual consent, which means that we're back at square one, e…

you've got a point, I don't like limits of free speech either, but publishing names of people who are being merely accused of crimes (especially of ones like, say, rape) doesn't serve any good purpose. I think, should somebody be accused of something like rape and suffer having their name splashed around as "a rapist" should definitely be allowed recompense should those accusations prove not only unfounded but the behaviour of those doing the splashing prove to be malicious.

To be charitable about it, getting pregnant too early can ruin your life. It's nothing about "damaged goods", more about how looking after a baby is a pretty much full-time deal that makes little things like school, work, training, graduation and so on very, very hard. To go through 16 (hopefully, at least) years of life and then fail the final hurdle really is a kick in the teeth. I know people who are making do having had kids waaayyy too early, and it is a struggle even with a lot of help.

violence against men is generally seen as funnier, especially if it's violence perpetrated by a woman. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing, per se, and I certainly wouldn't want to ban violence from the media because I'm very anti-censorship, but subverting expectations is part of comedy and the expectation is that men are stronger (and more violent) than women, so when some jacked up side of beef with a vagina and a very small hat beats on a guy it tends to make people laugh. fascinating reading. I know this is practically anecdotal at this point, but it is a very strong correlation. It's well known that a botched circumcision can easily maim if not kill, and even a non-botched circumcision leaves at the very least psychological scars for many, but to see something like this makes me wonder. Of course, there are a lot of other reasons for SIDS -- weight of the parents, for example, standards (or lack of them) for cribs and whatnot -- but damn... a rate almost 3 times…

it didn't work with ghostbusters, why the fuck would anybody think it would work with ocean's (your favourite number here)? all the reviews seem to speak about the lack of passion and effort put into this movie, talking about how the actors are fine but that it's just... okay. Mediocre. Aggressively average. Adding a vagina is not a substitute for creative writing and it is not a passable bandaid for paper-thin characters.

It took me a while to process the idea that circumcision was genital mutilation. When I first came up against the idea that it was wrong (because I'd never been presented with the idea, only that it was strange) it gave me pause for thought. Then I started thinking about it, as you finally do when confronted by information outside your experience (this is why, after all, religious people don't like their kids going to 'secular' school), and I realized that strange in this case wasn't a good enou…

I'm pretty sure it's a joke and I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch about it. What you will get if the victims are black are people saying it's all the white folks' fault and that nobody cares if the victims are black. Despite evidence to the contrary.

Nothing to see here, move along, the fact that 3 people a day were wrongly accused last year, with hundreds more this year falling apart due to our dedication to getting them numbers up is not a cause to doubt the system. They're only men, they've got to be guilty of something, it's not as if they're real people.

This is the logical result of feminist 'ideals': PEOPLE DIE. Because this selfish bitch wants a piece of the pie that she hasn't earned, people who are not qualified for the job will get hired and then innocent people who depend on people being actually qualified for these jobs are going to die because women simply are, in general, weaker and less physically capable than men, and a law-suit won't ever change that. I am legitimately angry.

that study, like all the other kenyan studies, was terrible. Later studies have shown no link at all and it strongly suggests that whatever link was suggested was not there at all. Besides, both male and female circumcision are terrible fucking ideas to start with, one at least is outlawed (and the other should be) and even if they did work anywhere near the amount suggested, using a condom and nothing else works so much better that there is no contest.

actually it makes a lot of sense. Since I can in no way condone women being forced to either have or not have an abortion, I believe that the right for the man to not be involved at all should exist.
