Had to drop a couple of good childhood friends because of this.

Dude it's ridiculous. The last couple days this sub has been flooded with men's-rights posts bitching about women.

Can we stop with the men's-rights posts? Holy fuck this sub has been insanely whiny lately.

The men's rights/MGTOW audience seem to think the philosophy of TRP meshes with their own more than it actually does - so you get whiny posts about feminism like this. Learn to play the fucking game at hand, or quit.

I always liked this logic, but doesn't this directly contradict the Stoic philosophy that TRP preaches? (i.e not worrying about shit outside of your control?)

Yeah I am still relatively new to TRP, but I've seen a post basically saying that the people who are straight up hating women due to their natural behavior/instincts are wrong. We are supposed to be playing the game back, and having fun while doing it. I mean realistically can you blame them? Be aware of their nature and you already have the upper-hand imo.

Yeah that would bother me. Hit them with a "pal".

I use "bro(s)" and "buddy(s)" interchangeably, especially with the guys I consider my good friends in an endearing way. I don't see an issue with "buddy" unless it's someone I have no established relationship with.

Ex-gf used to tell me how much she loved how I smelled after a heavy gym sesh. She'd ask me to wait to shower

I have found that using it rarely, but in high doses can be beneficial. It can be a very insightful experience if used properly. When I get really stoned, I do a lot of self-reflection and catch myself on areas that I've been slacking and emotions that I've been repressing... almost like looking at myself under a microscope. Initially I feel a wave of intense insecurity but it's always followed by planning ways that I can adjust my actions to better myself.

Either way I appreciate you sharing your experience. It always helps to hear other's journeys. What really stuck out to me was that you said it took a year or so to really grasp the self-validation. The way things ended with my ex really fucked with me and I think I'm being to impatient with the improvement process. I know I can maintain a positive self-esteem because I was able to last time I was single - it's just a matter of getting back to that state of mind.

I find that I believe this more and more every day, but the cynicism can be depressing at times. Do you ever find yourself dealing with the same?

Appreciate you sharing your experience. Can you elaborate on how you were able to internalize your validation? I when through a tough breakup towards the end about 6 months ago - ex gf cheated on me after 3.5 yr relationship - and am realizing how much my inner game has been lacking since, despite taking steps to improve myself (lifting, eating healthy, starting bjj).

Should I only be focused on bettering myself right now rather than pursuing women?

I think you're right about being in the anger phase, but how would that affect my self-esteem?

Inner-game has been my biggest shortcoming. I've been taking action and doing things like starting BJJ, eating healthy, lifting etc. that I figured would snowball into increased self-esteem but it has not. I've recently been hitting some PR goals in the gym and have been seeing some great progress in my physique, but I cannot help but doubt myself when it comes to women. My most recent relationship ended 6 months ago after 3 years. She was emotionally abusive and ultimately ended up cheating o…

Just had my intro class for jiu jitsu on Tuesday. Going for my first real class today specifically for this reason. Can you elaborate on how JJ helped your inner game?

Fuck man, I really wish I would've had something like this 4 months ago after my whore ex-gf cheated on me after 3.5 yrs. Great write-up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
