But without controlling for the proper things, it's like saying because of arizona's privilege fewer people die in earthquakes than in San Francisco. I guess I would be more interested on why more men more men than women are going into more dangerous professions than women. [Fixed] While This may be an interesting starting off point for conversation, I think those statistics are pretty shitty. Having worked in an industrial environment that had fatalities, it doesn't strike me as weird when men have the lions share of deaths on industrial sites. I would say at my plant, at most 1/20 workers were women.
