well your comment is well intentioned quitting things cold turkey is very hard, especially for addicts. I would suggest OP to fade it out. Gradually decrease usage, that would be a more efficient method

It is awful advice. You're suggesting a 19 yr old depressed, apparently suicidal, guy, to go out and travel the world when he had a pretty sheltered life for the last 2 years and abuses substances. Besides the need of being bankrolled, OP could find himself in serious trouble and not know how to get out of it. Next time think a little bit harder
