You’re still looking to sex for validation. It’s a common problem here and why I came back after several years of success. You have to learn that your value as a man isn’t tied to whether or not ONE woman is interested in having sex with you. Also withdrawing attention when you don’t get sex is fine, but if you do it the second she says no, then that will ALWAYS reek of butt hurt. You have to delay it. Watch the movie with her for 30 minutes then be bored and do something else or sleepy and goto…

OYS 2 46 y/o 5’8” 221. Wife 47, 2 teen daughters, married 17 yrs Frame Continue to improve. Was able to recognize my validation seeking before it came out. My wife reflected my validation seeking on me saying something about being upset when I didn’t get sex even though I haven’t been the last couple of weeks (or at least significantly improved). Definitely a response to the way I have been most of the last months/years. On the other hand 2 different times this week she said “I’m not having sex”…

Lots of posts on r/testosterone about “gaming” your test for lower levels. My free T was low normal and the clinic was happy to start me on TRT based on my symptoms. I think not clinics would if you have symptoms. But if you’re not having symptoms not sure how much benefit you’d get for the money and time. Not trying to dissuade you, just something to think about.

I’m 47, started TRT 4 or 5 months ago. It took a little bit to get everything dialed in but I feel fantastic now. r/testosterone if you haven’t seen it. Insurance if your truly low T cheapest but it can be lots of work to get going. UGL is the next cheapest way to go if you can afford the risk and takes some time to get knowledgeable. Telemedicine clinics next and completely legal. This is what I’m doing. Local men’s clinics easiest but also most expensive (generally).

No doubt. I look much better when the mirror stops above my waist. For reference pre-ACL squat 1rm was 365 and deadlift 400 even. Haven’t tested 1rm bench but estimate from online calculator is 260... But yeah fat, no doubt.

I should not seek the approval of anyone else including the MRP community. I’m back after a few years away, and haven’t looked at any of your old OYS posts, but this means you are making progress.

OYS 1 46 y/o 5’8” 221. Wife 47, 2 teen daughters, married 17 yrs Raised beta basically from birth. Found MRP about 5 years ago, was active in the sub (different screen name) made huge gains, and moved on. 1 yr ago retired from military, got civilian job, moved (hopefully for the last time). With all the changes/stress I lost some of the ground I had gained internally. Realized I was back to seeking validation from my wife especially regarding sex (of course). Maybe the need for validation never …
