14	Can we please discuss HOW it has come to be that women are socially conditioned to view them self as the prize? [historically, sociologically, etc] Because women were thought of as property, and society hasn't shed the ghosts of that idea yet. It is constantly reinforced by almost everything in our culture. Not just Western, but pretty much globally. Plus, it's kind of how nature works. In the vast majority of mammals (I know of no exceptions), the males compete for the attention of the females.
