Those men who are finished with divorceAfter 2 years of expensive lawyer fees I stopped fighting over the last amount. Yes I suffered financially, but it was better for my mental health to stop the fighting and get on with my new life. Mortgage payments are bigger but you can’t put a price on happiness. Don’t roll over but don’t fight for every last penny, it’s not worth it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/24 07:41 AM
It’s overWell done for getting through it all. It’s an awful journey and I, like many other men, never believed I would reach the light at the end of the tunnel. But we do it and we are better people for it. Enjoy the freedom of a new beginning. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/24 04:08 PM
In case you are missing your ex-wife today...Thanks man, I needed that! | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/01/24 07:10 AM
Things I learned when going up against normsIt took me nearly 2 years to learn these things the hard way. I can hold my head high that, unlike her, I never cheated, lied or was violent. But that hasn’t helped my finances or access to my son. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/03/23 08:24 AM
Dating and Blended FamiliesYou had a wonderful day with YOUR kids. That’s the bit to focus on. Enjoy that and everything will be good. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/22 07:56 AM
Hung up on ex having accused me of being a narcissist on her way out...Yup. We all get called it. Don’t sweat it, it’s just the word of abuse of the moment. She called me this even though she was arrested for assaulting me and had an affair whilst she was pregnant. Men are the worst etc. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/02/22 09:19 PM
How I dealt with horrible legal letters from my ex's solicitorI guess you are in the UK? How did representing yourself work out for you? I’m just about to start this journey and wondering what to do. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/01/22 06:17 PM
The person you divorced isn't the person you married.Yeah, she is the same, but I’m not. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/01/22 12:32 PM
Infidelity“Comfortably miserable” that really hits home. It’s been like that for 13 years due to her cheating, but holding things together for my son. Now divorce is on the cards I should be happy. But I’m not. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/08/21 06:29 AM
