Despite having success with dating apps in the past I would not use them anymore. It’s seemingly easier just need to install the app and I don’t need to approach, right? but actually it’s a trap. you’ll be fighting against the algorithm that isn’t really interested in you succeeding but rather spending money. Plus you are competing with way more guys than in real life. Also all those insecurities about looks. I have had that, too. But it’s just a poisoned mind from the online world. There isn’t …

This kind of self talk will she like me or not ultimately doesn’t help. the only way to find out is to shoot your shot. Ask her out. Then you’ll really know and if it doesn’t work out great you can close this chapter. But any time wasted thinking what if… takes away time from meeting this women or other.

How many women have you approached? You can verify by approaching women that looks don't matter as much.

The only solution is to get out of your head and go up to a women Whatever comes up in your mind you say to her. And then do it over and over again. There really is no other way, than to go into the fear.

While I am not disabled, I admire your desire to improve yourself. Hope you'll find someone soon. I read this story a while ago about a guy making in happen in a wheelchair: https://x.com/jonmorrow/status/1748154609279861089?s=20 Maybe this helps.

I would recommend you reading Too old to mate by Alex Forrest. He made it happen as a 46 year old guy starting from 0.

There is a book called "too late to mate" about a guy starting it with 47 and he got successful. So no you are definitely not too late.

Haha same man. I appreciate your openness. Those insecurities can always creep up out of nowhere again. But thankfully we don’t get stuck on it anymore.

One of the best posts i have seen here. Its funny how people get stuck on a certain mindset, like „I am not attractive enough“ without challenging this thought enough. I was one of those people too, but after putting in the numbers I saw it was not the reason of lack of success. But rather my vibe/confidence was lacking.

Going up to them is the success. No matter which reaction you get you've already won. It's just a numbers game. At one point success is inevitable.

Same experience. I am 28 now and it's just so much easier. Now the grown up life has properly started for me. I am more emotionally stable, confident etc. Makes it way more fun.

there are a couple of famous day gamers that are bald like nick krauser or st robert. i assume it matters less than people assume. but I guess it’s definitely important to look masculine with it, like muscles and maybe beard.

There is a book about a 48 year old guy that also has made it in pick up. No need to stress.

So you saying the first approach could be literally any person? Like idk, asking a random person how they are doing. Or has there be romantic interest?

I have battled with this topic for quite some time, researched, tried to it by myself etc. It is possible but I also get why your coach might say no to it. Lots of people argue you should integrate both of them. For me this makes it significantly harder. Thinking what to say to multiple persons instead of just 1. I have also heard the way of just going up to the girl of the group and treating her as if she was solo. I've seen my friend doing it & I believe it works too. As I rarely have the cour…

I see no problem with having a coach. The dating topic is complicated enough to warrant a coach to improve your dating life.

If you cannot delete it your account is shadow banned. Typically over time it resolves though.

I have never been myself. But it could be right. However, the ratio is probably still more favourable. Not so many guys are confident in going to a party like this. or mostly "creepy" guy shows up. When you are more normal then you already have better odds.

That's exactly the problem An average girl still gets 100s of likes and desperate guys commenting under her posts. Because guys are interested in sex, not her. In the real world she won't get the same attention. Anyway, trying to compete with these guys is very time consuming. Even if you are better than them their noise can overturn you easily.

I've tried signing up to similar websites and cannot recommend it. Lots of guys imagine themselves getting easy sex there. Therefore the competition is very high. Maybe if you have a crazy good profile then you can win there too. But most people don't. Probably you have a better chance to just going to these kind of parties or just meeting women in real life.

Good reality check. While I think this shouldn't hold people back from trying it. You should be aware it is a very hard journey. Especially, for people that are already insecure. So it will be an emotional roller coaster. It can pay off but it also can take a big toll on somebody.

This one has everything you need: The Manual Anton W. If you struggle to get started: She's six step away. Gives a good progression scheme how to make your first approach. Alex Forrest Too Late to Mate: Really inspirational. 47 year old guy that has still made it happen. He describes the whole experience really well. Self Doubt, the thrill etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
