It’s because there still isn’t enough drive to get women into sciences after years of “you’re a woman, you’re not smart enough...men can do your job but better.” In the UK currently 35% of students studying STEM are women, but in the NHS, 45% of doctors are women and 77% of the entire workforce are women.
