Okay, thanks. This theory of yours ties nicely with how it is recommended, that whenever you embark on a goal, to notify no one. If you walk around telling everyone of your new goal you will have subconsciously creates the illusion in your mind that you have already completed that goal. Besides your own personal failure, you would've been deemed a fraud in the company of your friends had you not been able to follow through with your initial plans.

I hope I understood this incorrectly. From what I'm reading it looks like you mean to say that men should just not give a fuck. Men should show a limited, if any at all, amount of emotion, and that they should aim to lack personality. For some reason, this idea of a man seems to prevail on this subreddit. I suppose it is heavily influenced by movies of handsome psychopaths (see: 007, American Psycho) but it just isn't realistic and will make you look like a weirdo rather than the "sexy psychopat…

I've actually read "Trading for a Living" if you've heard of that. It speaks solely about the psychology of trading.

Mindfulness is fantastic. A major thing that makes this great is that it can be done anywhere. We live with so many distractions that people forget to just be. So the best way to explain this would be the following: Ever play a first person video game? Great! Now your sitting on the bus. Put your phone aside. Look at your hands and try to feel as though you're playing a video game where the character is yourself. Notice the fabric and plastic of the chair in front of you. Notice the temperature …

I don't know how this works in the US. But anyone who lives in Europe or next to Europe (Lets say max 4.5 Hrs flight) seems to travel much more lightly finance wise (cheap flights). Where I'm from the second people step out of HS they immediately travel to one or two European capitals, it's extremely cheap and since everyone is so open to the idea of travel it creates this momentum that allows everyone to travel at a very young age.

The main problem is how most people who claim to be "Day-Traders" behave with their money. For those Day Traders who actually make a killing trading in high volatility, it can be inferred that they got the hard work and persistence part out of the way and are now reaping the rewards (making a living).

For those who have shit skin, Zinc is a great one. After taking Zinc for two weeks you'll notice a sharp decline in the amount of acne and blemishes but you'll also notice a nice change of tone to your skin, a slight golden tint. Now of course, this combined with vitamin D and legit daily sunlight will give you even better results. Skin in the human body acts in a way, as a reflection of our current health and state. That is why we notice "dull" skin on sick individuals and "glowing" skin on hea…

Read through a variety of comment all saying one thing; that there's no chance in hell hes making in the upper six figures? I know. Surprising. Can it be that someone has in fact succeeded? Can it that someone used connections, skills and knowledge to build a small company? Nah. Impossible. See, this is a fantastic way to divide the camp into two groups. The ones who've swallowed the pill, and the ones who choked on it. Honesty. The validity of the OPs claimes doesn't even matter! A nice "good j…

I read through the post and the article. Just have a look at the second paragraph of this post with all these fantastic claims. Posts such as these can't attempt to harmoniously combine "extreme" ideas with a mellow, logical conclusion. ["Bullies are fucking alphas man! and that's why we need to create a competitive yet safe environment for our sweet and youthful children"] It's just ridiculous.

Is this a serious post? Are we advocating being a childish, violent, and instinct led animal now? Being a bully is without a doubt, a way to seek validation from fellow classmates. Contrary to popular belief, bullies outside of the U.S. get the shit kicked out of them by the educational system. No matter how you spin it, being expelled, and spending yet another year at fucking high school looks bad, always. Boys should fight, argue and compete, it's part of our biology. But to say that some fat …

Oh come on, the title is absolutely fine. If first thing in the morning it was the first post I decided to read then it was a good title. I wouldn't waste my time trying to explain to this guy what a title is and what purpose it serves. Eye catching title, great content, keep up the good work.

This might be true but the mod team has a tendency to just delete anything. I'm one of those guys that hasn't subscribed for about a year only to do so mere months ago. I write a post that causes an uproar of stories of people's fathers, truly emotion drenched comments. Completely true. Friends, BP or RP both tend to act as limiters. Whether you like it or not certain factors will always stop you from doing something. Specific actions might put a friendship or a job on the line and you'll avoid most spontaneous things on a day to day basis (unless your fucking awesome). What I'm trying to say is, that lone travel correlates with the quote; "Imagine what you could do if you didn't care what anyone thought". Nothing will "come around" to get you and you can't tru…

Fantastic post. I say the same thing except I say it in regards to travel. Most of the people I know would never in a million years think about traveling on their own. Only losers and friendless weirdos travel alone, right? Wrong. It takes courage to pack a bag, board a plane and enjoy not only the country itself but also it's nightlife, all completely alone. The need to go out with friends is quite frankly an unnecessary crutch. And to think that people cancel plans because they have no one to …

I hope this comment doesn't disappear. Due to my father's job I've moved from country to country many times during my life and if there's one thing I can say for sure its that people are afraid of change. I've also had the privilege of living in South East Asia for 4 years and without a doubt, they are much happier people. Hmm. A missile resistant bunker sounds too complimenting of a term for a room with stronger walls. And the anti-missile defenses only come up during wars (they're mobile). But honestly, there is nothing normal about this situation. You'd also be very surprised how childish people here remain. It might be because it's a small country that acts almost like an island. Only life can make you a man. Maybe boys do mature here a tad more quickly because of the general instability this place has to offer. Also, it's hard to keep a kid here in a bubble. You can't help coming across holocaust survivors, war veterans, family's who's kids were killed, PTSD, illegeal immigrants, poor Ethiopians. Seriously, what the fuck is going in this country.

This is how the entirety of humanity works. Those who achieve are remembers whilst those who do not, are not. I didn't quite understand if you're Jewish yourself but don't let all the Jewish Billionairs, Wall Streeters and CEOs make you believe that once you arrive in Israel you arrive in the land of geniuse. It's kind of funny how people percieve Israel. This isn't sparta, nobody becomes a man at 13, trust me. It's just like the US, except that at 18 their's the army. The army is bound to turn you into a man right? Wrong. The reason for this is simple. Kids leaving high school directly transfer to yet another safe, closed, rule oriented system with people above you and punishments for being a bad boy. I sent out about a hundered applications to every corner of the universe while I made each application quite funny and unusual. I'd do this in order to get a simple call so that I could make a proper impression. I'd speak in a deep and powerful voice making it sound as if I'm hiring them and not the other way around. There's no reason to leave Israel. The people that hire mostly don't give a shit that you didn't serve, but it's only if you don't give a shit. Israeli bosses prefer experience over educations so by the time everyone leaves the bubble of the IDF I'd have worked much more.

I'd like to give you people a great example of this. I live in Israel, a military country, surrounded by enemies, years of war and years of unbelievable suffering and courage. My grandfather, killed during a war. My grandmother, ran from her home, joined the army. My great grandfather, escaped before the beginning of the Holocaust. Nothing new here. Shyness is obviously not benefiting in any shape or form. As I've written in the "Are you proud of your father?" post I see my father as a mentor of sorts. Having said that, I don't go up to him asking for LPTs or something like that. Hell, I never visited a PUA or Dark Triad related site. This sub for me, as you said yourself, is a tool for me to become a better man. My focus is on success, women not being close to the priority, and this site fits just that. Even GetMotivated / GetDiscplined tend to have a problamatic community that seems at times to not really want to become disciplined / motivated. The chat and conversation about it is enough for them(Mental Masturbation).

Nicely said. I've spent too much time being disrespected, I'm turning that around now. Now when friends see me from a mile away, they get a smile, wait for me to speak first and no longer crack stupid ass jokes at my expense. This place is the land of wisdom.

Drink loads and loads of water, loads, it just fixes so many problems. Third, de-stress your life, listen to more music, work out, smoke weed for all I care. If you're good at sitting your ass down and studying I suggest finding a college style book in either C# or Java (You can download a lot for free) and just start reading every page and doing what is told in the book. Another option, though less recommended is to think of a program that might benefit you, someone else or a local organization and look for the information for what you need. For example: need a user database? google how, need to calculate totals/averages/means? google it.

Today I told me dad jokingly, "one day I'll buy you a corvette". But honestly, it's one of my dreams, to be able to buy him an awesome car as a thank you for being a great father.

I'm baffled and confused. Was this comment meant for me?

The real answer to your question is, who gives a shit? There are bigger issues than this.

Please do not promote shit like HGH, it basically gives you cancer. Good for you for taking the easy path to success.

One of my goals it to be able to wake up early, which for you would probably count as "early" (around 6:30am). I was wondering, how on earth do you do it?

It's almost as if there's nothing to be angry about. Just as birds fly, and fish swim, it is what it is and there's no reason to dwell on it.

You woke up in a bad mood? I suggest going for a run, putting on some music, baking some muffins, what ever makes you feel better. Cheers.

I love how no one understood what I wrote. Take a minute, read it over, put on your thinking caps. This isn't me protecting women, this is me giving you a different perspective, a way to pass the anger phase in a smoother fashion, and build yourself in a more productive and relaxed way. What to take from this: Don't be surprised by the way women behave, you would behave the same if given the chance.

I'm not promoting this behavior. I'm just asking you to be honest with yourself and ask yourself if faced with all the weakness in men now-a-days would you not find yourself taking advantage of them?

I'm sorry, but this is retarded. It's called "generating attraction", there's nothing 'sneaky' in dressing in an attractive way. She isn't trying to fuck with your head, she trying to fuck YOU...Jesus, would you rather she dress like she just woke up?

Improve the life for your future self as much as possible. At night: organize all the clothes for future self, the room, maybe even food for the next day. Once you come back from a stressful day do an activity that serves as a "divider" between work and home. Might be a dark room with music for 30 minutes, might be a chapter of a series you follow. Also, the second you come through the door of your home change from work clothes to home clothes, this creates a distinction between work and home. T…

First time I ever went skiing was about a month ago. I decided on no instructor, nothing. Through out the week I advanced and went to steeper hills and more complicated terrain, and every time I thought I got the real hang of it, I slid like an idiot. Note: This happened immediately after I "got the hang of it", I was pissed just as you were, except I HAD to keep trying, HAD to, because I was stuck on a slope, no way to quit. This mentality of "You have to" to keep trying in a survival kind of w…

You fake it till you make it. Note: You may accidentally "fake" being a beta and then make it as such, so what's the difference?

This post is good, but try not to make into a Men VS. Women kind of place. We don't want to find ourselves shouting "Men! Men! Men!" in some town center, we don't want to become the men version of fanatic feminists.

This is a hundred percent true. A while back my friend and I were searching for jobs all over the area in retail and coffee shops, all of them said the same thing "oh we don't hire unless you're over 18". Since it's a small town we recognized most of the girls working there, a majority of them are absolutely under the age of 18, at times they were the ones telling us this! When we confronted them about it; "you're not 18" they just laughed it off...
