If you pick an ass, obviously he isnt a good investment. If you picked a good guy he would be a good investment. The majority of men are decent. Its not hard to find one. If she picks an ass i blame that on the woman.

But for normal people cheating with their friends doesn't cross their mind. Right thats why most cheaters cheat with friends or someone they know for a long time and like (basically also a friend). Lol the delusion.

It doesn't sound like your friends' relationships are successful. On the contrary , my friends have much more control over their relationships than these chumps that girls describe here. Maybe they are like most men and didn't care if the girl was an obvious hoe as long as she looked good and now retroactively try and correct for that. Lol i dont have anyone that stupid on my crew. the woman not being able to be in a room with another man without these guys freaking out in jealousy doesn't sound…

Yeah, that just makes you sound insecure. Nope it makes me very secure in my masculinity. I dont need to appease women with pretend bs. I have options and standards. If you can't trust your partner to not fuck someone else, they shouldn't be your partner. Exactly. If she wants to go out with other guys she can stay out. I deserve a woman who will drop all other men for me and treats me like a king ;).

I spend a lot of time at work with people (way, way more time than I spend with friends) and some of them want to fuck me I’m sure. But if you arent friends with them you will not develop a connection with them that could open other doors. If you are only being professional, spending time with coworkers doesnt really make you attached to them. None of my friends “obviously want to fuck me”, you just said all men want to, so if that’s true then nothing I can do about it, but it’s not “obvious”. Y…

Apparently my bf is too sexy to be real. What a flattering cope. More like you are making this ish up. knowing that it sends other men into fits of insecurity and disbelief really hammers it home LOL. Nice attempt, what i feel for your man is pity. How sad to have your balls in your girls purse. It's not really about testosterone it's moreso about men who know they weren't or would not be chosen freely reacting to that subconscious realization. Or maybe he has nothing to worry about and the men you know do. Perhaps their girlfrienss aren't in love with or attracted enough to them. Every man does it if he needs to. If your girl isnt going out with other guys, obviously you dont have to. Arranged marriages are not the only situations where men arent chosen for desirability. Men who find themselves in that situation do it naturally. My point is its an innate masculine behaviour. Nothing "insecure " about it. Its non-masculine if you lack …

Yeah lol i totally believe that 🤣🤣🤣. Btw in the animal kingdom the phenomenon is called mate guarding, not "insecurity". High test men are territorial by nature so we naturally act this way. There is no way a high test man is not territorial, if it seems that way that means he clearly doesnt care for you as he doesnt claim you.

Wrong. I am realistic and i have high standards. Why would you want to go out with guys who want to fuck you?

Plenty of men I meet probably want to fuck me. Should I avoid all men because of that? There is a difference between interacting with people who want you and being friends with them its a big difference. Why would my husband care if other men want to fuck me? Same reason as above its because they spend time with you. I never said that, I’d have to avoid leaving the house to avoid men who want to fuck me. You said that you avoided becoming friends with men at work who made a move. Do you need me …

Lol i am this way because i live in the real world and use my brain. Good thing i dont listen to the feminine idealists on the internet. I have good friends. I spend a lot of my time with them. I know from experience that no woman can offer friendship that is anywhere close to that. I am glad i am very realistic and aware and so far it has helped me a lot in my life. You guys can all ride the waves and see where it takes you, but i have direction in my life.

Maybe your partner doesnt have the balls to speak up. I dont know any man who is okay with their girl having male friends 🤣🤣🤣. Sounds like unmasculine, non-territorial men.

Maybe you just dont like the term submission. Personally i think for a woman and man to really achieve that higher level in a relationship she HAS to submit. Thats just based on my relationships and my observations but i know many people who agree. Unfortunately this kind of talk is only normal in kink communities now as most people nowadays dont accept anything that implies a relationship that is not "equal". Or maybe you dint like the idea at all. Idk. I'm confident that none of my close frien…

Lol, my opinion is realistic. Not sexist. You dont even know what that word means. I'm not about to shag my male friends. Well they want to shag you. What a depressing world where we can't be friends with people depending on their genitals. You can if you are single. If you are in a relationship and do this, accept the problems that come with it.

If you genuinely think your partner is going to cheat and stay with them, you have no one to blame but yourself. I would never be stupid enough to do that. I am also not stupid enough to tell my partner to go hang out with guys who want to fuck her.

Im a non ugly non fat woman, that would mean I wouldn't talk to most men lol You can talk to them im just saying dont be friends with them. You cant avoid people like that, not even some people that you want to avoid. We cant dictate all that. However we can control who we keep around as a friend. Thats what i meant by not engaging it. If a guy wants to bone you and you are in a relationship, its good to keep that distance. I understand your position, Ive been there. I also learned a lot from it…

Then it’s a dumb “rule”. Just because a rule applies differently to different populations doesnt mean its dumb. Obviously it will change according to sexual orientation. You know literally nothing about it except that I don’t believe I should sacrifice my social life for it (and my husband doesn’t either, he’s never asked me to). I do know that you dont prioritize it enough to give up a friend for it. That already would be a dealbreaker for me. My friends are all also friends with my husband, ev…

I think it would be disrespectful if I was flirting with them and encouraging that behavior but Im not. I think its disrespectful to just keep them. Imo you shouldnt engage anyone who wants to sleep with you when you are in a relationship. One of my bfs friends is his ex who I believe still has feelings for him. Personally i wouldnt be in that situation. Ive been the crazy jealous girlfriend before. It didnt change the fact that my ex would cheat on me any chance he had. It was a living hell and…

If you're so inclined to cheating that you need to limit who your friends are, you shouldn't be in a relationship anyway. I disagree. Everyone can cheat, some are more prone than others. But no one is really above it. Its better to be realistic.

I don’t think women should have female friends due to cheating I think you meant *male. When men cheat it is typically only about sex, he can smash hoes but still be loyal to his wife because men show loyalty through providing and protecting a woman. Most women do demand sexual loyalty too, so that wouldnt work. Whether or not a man has female friends, if he is high value he is going to be surrounded by women especially at work, it’s unreasonable to expect a man to not exercise his options. I me…

So what if you are bi? You shouldn’t have any friends? Idk i can only talk for straight people. I don’t believe I should have to sacrifice my friends and social life for my relationship Then i guess you dont value the relationship or have much faith in it. You dont have to sacrifice female friends. Just men. They want to fuck you anyway, why would you keep them around when you have a man? You said people in monogamous relationships OR marriages. Yup if you want your monogamous relationship to continue you would also be concerned. The stakes are different for everyone, the point is not everyone can or wants to just up and leave. Most people arent that lowly invested in their relationship. So, you do some preventive measures. I find that very smart and justified. Exactly because of this. You have very sketchy views of women and I rather avoid men that think like you. Did i lie tho?…

Cheaters cheat. If my bf cheats on me I would break up with him and get over it. Its not the end of the world. Well the stakes are completely different if you are married and/or have kids. A man not having any female friends is a major red flag for me. Why is that? Personally i dont have any female friends. I dont see the purpose. Its not like any woman really has your back the way men do. Its not like most women would jump in a fight alongside me, its not like they would take big risks for me. …

This is insane. Nope it is logical. Also, no one is above temptation. Not defending cheaters, but to say you can never be tempted is ridiculous. I respect it if you are self aware enough to avoid temptation by putting yourself out of that position. Why do you think people are sexually attracted to their friends just because they're each other's preferred gender? I know that men are.

Most of these things dont change. Its just how you behave with the opposite sex that changes. Generally as a couple you would go to parties together. And your friends are mostly other couples. It would only be weird if one guy from one couple and the other woman were hanging out. Its normal if 2 couples hang out. when your guy friends get girlfriends, do you meet and socialize with them? Sounds like you've never been in an equal relationship, I personally believe they're the only relationships worth having. Actually my first relationship was "equal", and the ine after was one where i took more charge and lead. I did that after i witnessed how older men and how some of my friends acted with their girl. Women don't usually "submit" to male partners, and if they do it isn't generally out of respect. Yes they do. Maybe you dont understand what i meant submission in a romantic relationship. It means that you allow your man to take charge and trust him with his decision. It doesnt mean complete authority , its like he takes the lead and you follow. And you also take some prode in being " his woman". I think its the natural way for a relationship to work out. I dont believe in equal relationships th…

Thats too simplistic and i disagree. I think everyone regardless of morality can and will cheat under certain circumstances. Wether its due to resentment towards partner, sexual dissatisfaction, a fight, dead bedroom, getting a crush on someone new, someone being very smooth and turning you on much more than your partner, someone being an emotional support that turns physical, etc. Or any combination of things. Good people are capable of committing grave offenses and crimes im certain situations…

I disagree. I think a friendship and a romantic relationship are very different. Women dont "submit" to male friends. They do that for their partner , if you respect him enough. To get an idea of male (or female) behaviour you dont need either though. You just have to interact with people a lot.

Idk about women but most guys would actually. Listen in to mens opinions on the subject, there are plenty of videos podcasts etc about it. Most men hate it if we are completely honest. Most of us wish they didnt exist. Its just that some men have options and some dont. We have to be more territorial because of uncertainty of paternity. Its biological. You know that your child is your child. We dont (until very recently with paternity testing), so we have to make sure our woman doesnt spend time …

Acceptable according to whom? People with a certain mindset. It is not only accepted but also considered the norm in many places. And the most important thing is that it does work.

Thats because i keep a close circle of friends. I am friendly to a lot of people but i dont really consider then friends. They might consider me though. I dont really consider someone a friend unless i know them very well and i trust them 100%. I expect my friends to have my back when i face difficulties and i do the same for them. I cant do that with everyone. I understand that many people view it differently pr use different terminology.

It is a fact. Like i said, most people dont even have business trips. So how the hell is it even remotely comparable? It isnt , people spend more time with friends than they have business trips on average. By a margin. Your opinion is wrong plain and simple. As a woman THE LAST thing I’d want is fuck any of my male friends. If your male friends are straight they wanna fuck you. Why would you be friends with men who want to fuck you then?

Those are some good points. I will stay orbiters can still become a problem if she gets overly attached once they get better game, or if they have a sudden glowup, not necessarily physically, but also if they improve a lot in social status and finances.

I find it funny how a lot of women disagree with this and how everyone is apparently bisexual or pansexual. I barely even know any bisexual/pansexual peoppe but i guess every other person on the internet is. And i dont care for female friends or family. I only say that if you are a woman (straight) its best if you dont have male friends. Vice versa for men. It has nothing to do with abuse its being respectful to your partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/21 12:52 PM

Forbidding your partner from having friends of the opposite sex absolutely is irrational. Listen to the story again. Its completely rational. You are saving yourself and your relationship. In any trusting & healthy relationship, that wouldn't be necessary. People only did this for thousands of years. It is entirely necessary and works.

if i’m in a relationship i’m not making new friends with guys. that‘s weird and inappropriate to me. but i have 1-2 guy friends i’ve known since childhood that i would not just drop for a guy i started dating. hell, my best guy friend and my partner get along splendidly- they’re usually fcking roasting me together 🙄😤 I guess thats okay in your case. Personally i wouldnt do that though.

No, adults do not see their friends more than the people they work with. We are not talking about workmates. You said "business trips". You take more business trips than you see your friends? You seriously think thats even close to the norm? Most people dont even have business trips. Lets stay realistic.

think that women needing an emotional connection overtime is false I disagree. It might depend on the person though. I think women who hookup and such are more easily to spot. Also, whenever a woman wants to cheat indiscriminately, she travels Yeah but i think that is more obvious. I think thats for women who cheat intentionally. I think friendships are where it mostly happens where they didnt seek it out at first.

So...it doesn't work for anyone who can get fall for people of both genders? I dont know and im not bothered. My knowledge is only about heterosexual relationships. I am only interested in that. Why? Most people are either heterosexual , and otherwise many are homosexual. With homosexuals you could switch it to same sex, but many homosexual people have a different culture where they hang out mostly or a lot with other homosexual men. However, if you look into it you will find that there is a lot of cheating among them too. So clearly my theory does hold weight. I just dont care for much outside heterosexual relationships. Are we sure we're on the same page of what we mean by friendship? Maybe not. Like are you strictly referring to very close friendships (i.e. texting everyday, providing emotional support, one on one "dates" etc)? Thats what i call as friends. I consider others aquaintances. What would you do if she made a male friend in her life while with you? That wouldnt happen because i would make my stance on it clear in the beginning. This is a topic that is a qualifier for me, its above politics and religion. There is no way any girl doesnt know where i stand on this. So if she makes a male friend, she knows its over for us. It already is childish. Banning friends because you're afraid of them cheating is childish. Nope its logical.there are benefots and drawbacks to everything. And a successful relationship takes sacrifice, something a lot of modern people dont understand. If you are willing to make sacrifices you will get benefits. You cannot have everything in life. Choices need to be made.

Never said about forcing anything but keep going on your own tangent. Most people aren't worried about rivals and competition, despite both themselves and their partner having opposite sex friends. Depriving a person of friendships with other people because you're worried they'll cheat doesn't seem like a good strategy for ensuring someone stays with you anyway. Thats not what i said. I don't really care about the risk of cheating tbh, there's always going to be a risk of cheating in every relationship, you just have to accept it. There is much variance in that risk its not constant at all. And you can be logical about it and reduce it, you dont have to just "accept it". Thats loser mentality. Not really? Yes it is. Friendships are long-lasting, but so is your business/hanging out/vacationing; How often do you go on a business trip a year? 5 times? 10 times? 50 times? How many days in a year are you friends? 365 days or any less? Its entirely different. There were years when I’ve done more business related functions than the amount of times I’ve seen my friends. One of the worst things you can do when you are in a relationship is NOT have friends of the opposite sex. I disagree. Its one of the best things you can do and lowers cheating tremendously. A rule says you can't have opposite-sex friends; a boundary says, you can do what you like, but I will walk away if I don't like your behaviour. I dont really disagree. I also think this is something everyone should do thenselves not enforce it on others. And i agree with walking away.

The relationship won't work if you don't trust your partner a bit. Its about being rational not trust. I can trust my partner to be rational and not have male friends. First of all, there are a lot of studies showing that women cheat just as much as men. Also the study says that mote than half of cheaters cheat with well known people AND more cheaters are men. It doesnt say that men cheat with well known people more. I would argue that its more women who cheat with friends. Because men are also likely to have prostitutes or sex workers of some kind. Women do that rarer so its probably more women cheating woth friends and people they know.

Your argument is literally the same though - don’t do X because Y could happen and does happen. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They are very different circumstances though. You do realize that a friendship is long lasting and there are a lot more opportunities to make "mistakes" right? If your relationship is solid; then there’s nothing to fear. Lol. Heard that a lot. Not true obviously. You need rules and boundaries for any relationship to work. To me it’s a huge red flag if the guy has absolutely no female friends and…

And you haven't answered what bi/pan/demisexual people should do. They need to practice the same with whoever they feel attracted to. I get attracted to people of both genders and mostly to the ones who I'm friends with Well i would be worried if i was your man, thats all i will say on that. You can be friends without being overly touchy or sleepovers when there are only only two of you. If i dont hang out with you 1-1, then i dont consider you a friend. You are an aquaintance. It isn't irrelevant when the result is "My partner should change their behavior because I have issues." That is incorrect. You are vastly downplaying a much broader problem. Just take the example of the story. It doesnt state anything regarding insecurity. It doesnt even state whether her husband was aware of the cheating or not. People cheat in this fashion very often, regardless of "insecurity". So the topic of insecurity is irrelevant, she did what she did regardless. As i stated in my post t…

But the thing is its not irrational. " insecurity" used to refer to being irrational about it but now people call anything insecure. There is nothing irrational about someone feeling uncomfortable when your partner acts too intimate with another person. Its a fear based on very real consequences.

should you not leave a house if you’re in a committed relationship? No, you should not do that. You should focus on business while on business trips. You should not seek other women when vacationing with same sex friends You should not go out to random bars or go to a bar for men only( or women only). Or just drink with your friends. Its good to have restrictions. Society is built on restrictions. Its more complicated when it comes to friendships because you get emotionally attached and it messe…

It is invalid because it is irrelevant to my statement. It is a FACT that a lot of cheating happens this way. Arguably the vast majority of it (especially on women's side, some guys may use prostitutes etc) That FACT doesnt change regardless of if the guy is insecure or not. So bringing up "what drives the behaviour" is irrelevant and doesnt disprove or prove anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/21 10:11 AM

The point is the insecurity argument is invalid. Its a FACT that this is something that can and does happen. So saying " you are insecure" is not a counterargunent. You need to make a counterargument that proves that having opposite gender friends is actually okay or positive. As my statement is basically that opposite sex friends are bad for monogamous relationships. " insecurity" does not prove or disprove my statement.

Good points but you definitely can achieve status while being ugly. A lot of status is about networking and who you are connected to. If you are able to have a type of personality (or even just try hard enough) and get in touch with the right people you can achieve power and status. Especially if you have people that owe you favours and the like. This takes time too of course and you need to build up respect and a reputation. But that definitely helps you with girls. Besides HIV meds are so good now that most people die from other comorbid conditions before the HIV does. People have pretty normal lives. Yeah thats highly debateable. People with hiv or even herpes etc will always have to deal with that. For STDs, the solution doesn't have to be "stop having sex." It doesnt have to be stop having sex, instead it should be stop having irresponsible, uncontrollable sex. People really shouldnt be trying to bang everyone. Immunity related diseases and allergies may have more to do with the more sanitized environment we live in, and remember in the past if a child has any significant health issues (eg. weak immune system), that kid would've died and not reproduced. Most people in the West these days live their lives as if they will be young forever. You are absolutely right. There are a lot of people who are very delusional about this. I disagree. I think some structure and order is necessary for people to function as a society. Too much freedom is dangerous and can cause a lot of trouble and conflict.

Yeah. A global economy and opportunities has caused this. Big changes need to be made. I think remote work may have a good future. With the pandemic, people have gotten more comfortable with it, it seems. Maybe that is a positive.

Because you're going to... take over the family farm and 'dont need no edumacation'? The idea that you should need education until your early or mid 20s is ridiculous. Its a waste of time. How much of what you learned in school do you still remember or is actually applicable for your work? Exactly. If we optimized the education system we could do away with a lot of wasted years and get people educated much quicker and younger. If we were able to optimize education to apply to individuals strengt…

Better outcones how? As in a better education? More opportunities? Sure. But what about bonding with their parents more? Having more time and energy to play with your parents? Developing their social skills more? Things are difficult for young couples as it is currently. But if it was ideal, i would argue that young couples would do better than older ones. Once we take out the economic factor.

And who is gonna look after the elderly when you have not enough young people to do so? Its only ethical if it is planned. And even then it can go sideways like with china. They planned it. And they still ended up with having surplus males in comparison to females.

The dude that started the famous incel site (Aoike), was 12 when he self-identified as an incel and 14 when he started that site. This is one of the problems about the internet. You shouldnt be trying to get a gf at 12 years old. You should be playing and having fun with friends. Even at 14 or 15 only a few people i knew had a gf/bf. And its not uncommon to be celibate/virgin until your 20s. A lot of people are likel that. That doesnt mean they turn to incel ideology. There is a lot of internet …

You have some good points. The extended family should be sticking together. This is how communities that do have kids younger do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 11:07 AM
1

And that is what i call stupidity. Waiting to have kids at their convenience rather than when they are at their healthiest.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 11:04 AM
1

Well there is something wrong with society if it is financially difficult to have kids at a younger age. It is biologically optimal as you admit yourself. So people should at least have the option. Kids are the healthiest when they are born at the most fertile time of their parents. We live in a time where a lot of diseases like allergies and other immunity related illnesses are becoming more and more common. I think we should take things like this more serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 11:02 AM

You are oversimplifying the issue by saying "people didnt have a choice". My point id even if they had a chouce they would simply have kids younger. Because it is more natural and makes more sense. Waiting to get older to have kids is unnatural. We know that when people do have choice, they postpone having kids and have far less of them. Not really. They do so in the west. They dont all do that outside the western world. Also, my original point is that waiting is the wrong thing to do. A lot of …

Well i guess it also depends on where you live and what the expectations for the women there are about marriage. I see a lot of young women get married in my community and they do fine. I think if you are prepared for it you will do fine. If you arent prepared for it, you will struggle regardless of age. A lot of people nowadays in the western world are not used to handling infants or children. So they are not equipped for it.

Maybe its a difference in culture but i see young mothers who dont have these issues. I think it depends also on how you are raised and if you were prepared/had any training with kids. Of course if you have never dealt with kids and have one all of a sudden it can be too much.

I think having kids in your 30’s and being a bit lower energy is a much lesser struggle than dealing with life and death situations while having kids in our 20’s. Yes but that is comparing different times. If it were finacially possible to have kids in your 20s today, i would take that option. If anything I think the bigger ordeal is the lack of grandparents and village/community when it comes to raising kids I agree 100%. Its definitely much more easy when you have support from the community.

You make a good point. Although with incels i also think there is a mild level of mental illness. Or at least extreme defeatism. At least thats how i felt with the ones i have met here on PPD. All studies indicate that money trumps “energy”. I highly doubt that there is any study making this type of compoarison. Money doesnt help you interact and play with your kids. Money doesnt help you to bond with them. Money cannot make up for your tiredness when dealing with kid. Money is not a replacement for youth and energy. It can help. But not substitute. Teens marrying can be problematic. Young adults, not really, its no different from older marriage in terms of success.

Fair point i cant question your experience. But i see a lot of peoppe in their youth having kida and no problems. But to be fair i see it in communites with a lot more community support. Where families support each other and care for the kids. Financially they take a bit longer to build up but the children do fine. Meanwhile i could argue there are a lot of kids in separated homes that come from well established people who waited long enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:42 AM
2

Well thats fair. Personally i disagree. I dont think an adult needs more maturity to deal with children i think patience and a willingness to engage/connect with them is actually the most important part. But i respect your opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:38 AM
3

Yeah but i would say even before that, even before those "norms" (which are now the old norms), it was like that. Because why would they wait? If they were fertile and ready to have kids they would. So even given the choice i dont think you could convince someone in the past to wait? They might ask what is there to wait for? As they dont have the same lifestyle and directions that we have today.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:35 AM

There were lots of things that were terrible in the past that were normal and “how things always were”. Normal is generally not a good enough justification for doing something. Yes. What i meant by normal was that it was the more accurate thing to do based on our biology. In this case i would it was correct because we are built to have and raise children earlier. But having below replacement rate childbirths is still a problem. Generally its not the overpopulated places that have this problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:23 AM
2

And in those times you were more likely to die in childbirth if you were too old. Which is not as much of an issue anymore. But as i said you still have physical benefits of concieving earlier. Not everything is about control. Its not a me vs you thing. Its a simple discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:22 AM
2

Yes but on average its a fact that having a child in your 30s will be more draining than in your 20s purepy due to the age difference. It also depends person to person and diet exercuse etc. Also a lot of people find having children very fulfilling.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:19 AM
1

But its still biologically more optimal to have them early. Its mot just about kids surviving. You have more energy to raise kids im your 20s than your 30s. You will get less tired doing so. Then when you are in your 30s they will be in their teens and im your 40s they would be adults. You will be the heslthiest when the kids need it the most and less prone to being burnee out. This is considering finacial security though. Thats the biggest challenge in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:17 AM

You are right. The economic situation today makes it difficult. I dont know if it can be reversed. But my point is that it is wrong that it got this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:13 AM
2

No but men do hunt and fight. And men are more optimal for it. People do have kids. My point is 18-25 is more optimal than 30 and above.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:10 AM
2

I mean that can always happen. As long as they arent too late to concieve they can still have them. Im just talking ( i guess debating) about what is optimal.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:08 AM
2

Um no. I made it pretty clear in the post that the childbearing age is lower and that you have more wnergy to raise kids when younger. The whole point is that biologically you are supposed to have kids earlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:07 AM
2

On a population scale, ots not an issue but when you see that that childborth is below replacement level in a country, it does become a problem. People usually want to be well established financially before having children. And the problem is by then they will no longer have the energy to raise the children as good as they could before.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:05 AM
4

Yes of course. But looking after elders takes less effort than kids IF they are healthy. And i think in the long term the benefits of the support outweigh the costs.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:03 AM
3

Im in my mid 20s, to be vague 😁. I know its hard to change things now. Im just making a point that we arent in the correct position as a society.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:01 AM
3

Yeah those are just demographics who also dont have kids. People who are having casual sex and playing the field are waiting even longer to get together with someone if they end up doing that. And the thing is a lot of peoplestill do have kids but its late.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 04:00 AM
4

Yeah is see this type of situation quite often. The problem is the longer you wait, the harder it will be to raise kids. You are still fertile in your 30s. But you have less energy then than in your 20s. That makes a difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:58 AM
2

Lol, good point.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:55 AM

Men who are desirable generally have options. And men who have options choose women who havent been around. So logically women who have been around get left with the undesirable men. I dont need stats for showing that men dislike women with high counts., that part is common sense. Like, do you doubt that?? If you dont believe me make a poll and ask if men want women with high n counts or low. You will see it from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:54 AM
6

Most of the older generations did it because it was normal. Its how they always were. My point is that i believe that is the natural way for humans to be. What we have now is abnormal and damaging. There are a lot of factors as to why it became this way including economic reasons, and a shift in culture but my main point is that it is not correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:50 AM
6

Yeah, it depends on the families too. But generally if the culture changed to become more connected family-wise, it could be a start.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:47 AM

If it has been done in the past, it can be done again. I think its actually ideal. The economy isnt encouraging though, i agree with that.

Lol. Definitely IQ should be a factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:43 AM

Thats because we live in a very individualistic society. If you had a support system like your parents uncles, aunts, etc all looking out for each other you could have children even if you arent settled in yet. You could do that while raising a child with support. It works out in communitirs that have that. Even if they arent well off financially.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 03:42 AM

I dont disagree that its harder and your points are valid. But i see blue collar couples (sometimes with the wife as a housewife) have kids in their young 20s). I think because we want to have maintain higher stabdards of living, we end up over-investing and waiting too long.

I think humans are mostly monogamous. Given our behaviours that include mate guarding, jealousy, insecurity, etc within relationships om both sides (male and female) we are mostly monogamous and enforce it on each other. Its only not true if you cannot maintain it. It certainly is possible. Just dont tolerate any disrespect and keep her in check. You also have to be willing to walk away. If they really respect you it can be rewarding. I had a girl cook me dinner every evening i went over. And that was even before we put a label on it.

The moment men start obsessing over women and especially on how to get into their good graces is the moment they become that horse pulling the cart of female validation. True. Your comment should be top comment. Both for the truth and also for the pics. That was legendary 😆.

I'd rather be found dead near a jar of lotion with my pants down. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nice one. Hey the other way is to get into a relationship. I did that and didnt have to give up any of my pride. But tbh a lot of guys in relationships are simps and put their girl on a pedestal. Just dont do that bs. You literally promote bad behaviour by doing that. If you respect yourself and your girl respects you, and you keep her satisfied, a relationship can be fulfilling.

It could work but i would still say that you have to be somewhat higher than average to be able to start bullying and get away with it. Otherwise you would just get jumped. At least in my experience. Some very good points. You brought up things that i had not. I would say that if we live peaceful lives in general we would not want to use violence for all those reasons (dont want to hurt people, dont want revenge etc.). So we want to maintain the status quo. And moving up socially via education, work, talent and making connections/networking is far more productive. However lets say we lived in a rough place or we came from a community which was already being attacked oppressed etc. They have …

Oh wow. I am lucky to say that i have never had a bar fight. Having later heard some bad stories im glad it never happened. Yeah the drinks can really let the emotions out, especially if you have been holding it in. Contrary to popular RP belief, chicks do not dig fighting or aggressiveness. I would say girls who have a reasonably high IQ level do not like that sort of behaviour, for the obvious consequences 😅. But i wouldnt say all.

I wouldnt say its being a simp. You arent tolerating bs behaviour from women, you are lowering your own standards. You may not like getting rejected 5 times in a night so you are lowering your standards to do that in order to find a hookup. Its different from agreeing with women over ridiculous stuff and putting them on a pedestal and letting them walk all over you. I would say that is a SIMP. Social media game is a whole different game though. You cant really let your personality shine through and have to use good pictures and text in a way that keeps their interest. And the reason i dont like drunk girls is that they lower their guard TOO much. To the point that they dont respect personal boundaries. Probably a mistake on my use of words. I dont think he is a loser. But most girls + other folks looked at him that way as he couldnt get the first girl and asked out more and more. In terms of going for who you think looks great, your attitude isnt wrong. Some guys lower their standards just to get laid but if your not desperate you dont have to do that. It depends. Lets forget the moral side of it for arguments sake. Lets say you can rise up through education, work and talent to am extend. But there is a limit. I would argue this is more so because women like high status men, and bullies tend to be high status. If you arent high enough of on the social ladder you cant get away regularly with bullying. I think its the social status that draws them in. Girls like popular guys, in college and in hs, regardless of if they are dicks or not.

Probably about 65% would be pro . Thats a severe overestimation. If you make a poll or ask this question on anywhere outside PPD or maybe redpill forums i would say you would get 5-10% women for it at best. Looks. Men need to learn to hold frame. Its important outside of relationships too. There are a lot of emotional, feminine men out there with weak boundaries who dont know anything about holding a masculine frame. They need to learn that. No 2 ways about it.

Rollos desription is pretty good. What he is describing is frame from an authoritative perspective. My description is a more personal perspective. Rollos frame is more about power. Mine is more about importance. Its not completelt different, my idea is just way more general. For example, if you are confident in a given setting and have good emotional control, someone cannot irritate or annoy you and provoke an action out of you. At least not easily. In this situation you maintain frame. If they …

Its not just them doing "shitty things when drunk too" its them being worse. This is confirmed by people who are in that profession. You are acting here as if men are the worse ones. If you act/look like a femboy i can imagine that you attract some creepy men, more than women but that doesnt mean thats the case for everyone. Also, i dont care about your status or count. But you pointing that out and your general whiteknightish stance makes me doubt that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 05:17 PM

Frame isnt antisocial behaviour or manipulation. Its being confident and in control of your emotions in different environments. If you dont often feel outshined or not taken seriously, you have a good frame. Having a strong frame requires strong emotional control. Which is pretty much taught to us since we are boys. I dont see how any of this is antisocial. Women definitely respect frame. It doesnt always have to do with attraction though. Its a respect thing.

If your partner allows other people to hit on them, it is a problem. Any woman who denies this is a walking red flag. Loyal women know how to act in a way that doesnt draw male attention. Disloyal women got a ring on them but walk with "for sale" signs on their breasts and act as if its men's problem for approaching. Those of us raised by proper mothers arent falling for that bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 05:01 PM

You are a femboy, lol of course you wouldnt be hit on by women as much as gay men. Ask any doorman/security for clubs/bars and they will tell you which gender is more problematic when drunk. Its always women in groups on girls nights out and bachelorette parties who are the worst when it comes to crossing boundaries and sexual harrassment.

The vast majority of men never had any chance at multiple partners to sacrifice. They do/did. Prostitutes existed throughout history. Its one of the oldest professions. Bad advice to women. Literally the opposite of what parents would say to their daughters from 2000 years ago until this day. Women who take this type of advice seriously only have themselves to blame. But as a guy, i dont think any guy wants to be the "husband" after the woman has been with a bunch of guys for fun. Either way i dont mind, you do you. I dont have an issue with what others do. Its just important for everyone to be aware of the risk to reward. If the risk is low and you get a nice reward, good. Having casual sex but it doesn't work out and the feelings fade away is normal, but not a Pump and Dump That is what a lot of RPers call "pump and dump". Also, "feelings fading away" is not always as quiet and peaceful as you may think. Lmao , sad but accurate i guess.

I mean i basically just wanted to see peoples opinions. I just thought CMV was the most appropriate flair but maybe something else is better. The reason i say this is due to my experience. Id like to know what other people think.

Science tells us that men are not biologically driven to ‘spread their seed’. I highly doubt that. Which piece of "science" says that? Im not saying i support male promiscuity btw, im just saying that this is a behaviour that exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 07:29 PM

That makes sense. Tbh, im in my mid 20s so most of my friends are around this younger age range.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 07:27 PM

Yeah if you want a relationship, i would also agree go for that one. Of course, after getting to know her more.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:56 PM

Ill keep it in mind. I have to wait until this one dies down 😁.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:50 PM

Haha thank you for that, but i still need to go a long way. I hear once you make it to about 90 days, your brain sort of clears from the addiction. At that point it should get easier. Also in your case, i would say you did the right thing because he took it a step further than porn and actually cheated. Its hard to recover from that. Hopefully he has changed but its better for you to move on. You have a good mindset and need someone with the same.

Lol true.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:43 PM

Yeah, it really depends on the individuals/the groups. I had a lot of friends that i met just through drinking, playing sports, lifting etc. I know guys who would do nothing like this for fear of their reputation and i also know guys who dont care and enjoy the free sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:42 PM

You are being very supportive and i needed this 😁 very kind of you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:38 PM

True. For women, getting hookups/ONS is the easiest way to cheat since too many men are eager to hookup & will keep the secret. So female cheaters aim for hookups. Yeah that makes sense. And i think you are right. A lot of guys who go to prostitutes tend to be married.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:36 PM
1

who cares cause she'll just find someone else that will so you've prevented nothing. Heard this one from one of my friend like 10 times 😆😆. Yeah i get it man. It is what it is. Why do most men get hit on MORE when they're taken? We could make that a question but i doubt there would be a lot of honest answers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:34 PM
1

Its not for me either. The more i figured this thing out the less i wanted to do it. As appealing as commitment free sex is, these issues really killed the interest for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:30 PM
1

Thanks for the honesty. My opinion why its women who seek casual sex are attached women is because single women are more likely to go for a commitment + sex. In my opinion. In my experience, single women are less likely to seek sex only, compared to women who already have a relationship. Of course there are a lot more factors that go into this, but this is just my insight. Feel free to share more if you want. Thanks for your opinion.

No, as i said its just personal experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:20 PM

Most of them yeah. We were in college at the time. There were a few women who were 25 26 28. But most were below 24.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:16 PM

I am sorry to hear that. I hope your next partner is loyal and more respectful, if you are looking. Stay vigilant when seeking one. Good luck 😄.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:15 PM

I agree with you. Technically when she cheats she is most likely looking for someone to replace her current man. At least imo. But i guess the point is that they will lead with sex and the other guy can just have sex without anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:13 PM
2

Yeah ik. But i think its also about guys being very unmasculine in relationships that lead to the women seeking something else. Maybe guys just need to be more masculine and know how to lead a relationship. RP awareness can help.

Im just looking for peoples experiences and their opinions. I was unsure about the flair i had to choose. Should i change from CMV to something else? Which would be the best one for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:10 PM

Well in the cases that i was talking about, im certain that the majority of the women were not open. They were cheating.

As i wrote in the description this has been my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 05:59 PM

Thats probably because guys will be lowkey about it if she says she has a man. While women will try to break up your relationship to get with you.

1

Yup, this on is on the girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 05:39 PM

Well this is what happens when society considers the statement that "men and women are different" to be sexist. A lot of things that are considered sexist are not really sexist, they are just realistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 05:34 PM
2

Lol no. The general consensus is that high n-count women suck. The burden of proof is on you to prove otherwise. You have no comebacks, cant argue and flee when challenged 😂😂😂. Boot strapping argument upon argument is not a mechanism. This is not what i am doing though. You clearly have nothing to refute my points. Answer the question, would you let anyone stab you with a knife?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 03:22 PM
2

Yup. You are well aware of it :). People dont respond well when you bring these things up.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 03:09 PM
2

There is a logical mechanism. I just explained it. You dont wanna listen. Women who let a lot of men sleep with them have weak boundaries. This goes for all women with high counts. You dont think letting a lot of people penetrate you is having weak boundaries? You can even take out the sexual aspect of it so that you can relate to this as a straight man. How many people would you trust to stab you with a knife? Would you let every other guy do it? How about your friends? Or would you only let so…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 03:05 PM
1

Well, lets be logical about this. If there is a correlation between candy and cancer , would you ignore that and say "well that doesnt prove candy causes cancer" and keep on eating candy or double down on it, or would you be a bit more careful? I would say if you are worried enough about cancer, then you would most likely reduce or quit eating candy. This is no different. If you are a man looking for marriage and you want a woman who is loyal you are gonna take this correlation seriously. Women …

Feminism also only really took off after they recieved a lot of funding. This means that there was likely an economic motive behind it. Basically, imo it was more about getting women into the workforce than it was about equality.

I am not basing what i said on any data. Ist not about the study. I actually said in the beginning that that study was done on animals and why its different to us people. My statement is just based on observed behaviours of people and common sense. Think about it, do women generally want to sleep with every other young healthy man that they see? Or are women more selective? In comparison a lot of men have the desire to sleep with a lot of young healthy women that we see. And a lot of us like old…

Thats about animals though. Not about humans. Animals whose children are developed already at birth can afford to be more promiscuous. Mammals generally have litter/babies that are less indeoendent and need more protection and care so usually the mother sticks around much longer and sometimes the father too (in some animals). With humans we have some of the least developed babies and we need to care after them for a long time. Thats why we naturally have more parental involvement with our kids. …

First of all, being a first world civilization has nothing to do with gender dynamics. It has more to do with politics and economics than anything else. You are making a fool of yourselves for even going there. Exposing a lot of lowkey racism dude. There were a lot of cultures where powerful men had more women compared to average men. In fact in the past it was more so of a norm. And btw , european civilization practiced polygamy as well just lowkey. Thats why european kings had concubines. That…

What happens to the women who try to have more than one man? Oh that's right, they get stoned to death. Depends on where you live and in what time period. There were societies which were more matriarchial and allowed women more than one man. Its just not nearly as common and doesnt work out. The structure doesnt hold as well and they just dont work out as often. And the reason is because womam cannot love more than one man at a time.

How so? People practice it. Muslims for example are allowed to marry up to 4 women, if they can provide for them. There are many throughout the world that do this. There are cultures in africa (not muslims) who also allow men multiple wives. It clearly works. There are just different rules to it than traditional monogamy.

That you shouldn't marry a woman who isn't a virgin? or has had multiple sex partners? Or just a woman who thoroughly enjoys sex? Could mean all/any of that. Depends on the guy. Anyway i will give my opinion. I dont think a hoe is just a girl who had a few partners. I think a hoe is seen as a girl/woman who has had many partners like more than 10 or 20 partners depending on her age. A lot more than her peers and is usually easier than your average girl to get into bed. I wholeheartedly agree tha…

The problem comes when it goes nowhere over and over again. And my argument is that that will happen less often when you act more masculine.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 07:43 PM

Her not wanting to have sex with her bf as much doesn't mean she doesn't desire sex, it just means she doesn't want to fuck THAT person. This is exactly what i said to start with, wth 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 07:03 PM
1

So do women with children chose a favourite they love more too or is it just with men? Hmm, i hope not 😅. I think its just with romantic partners. When it come to your blood, your family its different. So what are your thoughts on polyamorous women Idk maybe women can do that if they have been with a lot of people and get used to that? Im not sure. But even then i would say there could be a time limit. After a while she may end up choosing one. Or at least have a favourite.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 06:27 PM
2

Well the thing is you still get what you want. If it goes nowhere you can move on. Its that if you act that way, you will still have overall more success. Of course you wont have perfect results, but no one does anyway. The point is that you do better in comparison to being nice and soft.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 06:19 PM

No i already know. If you are hot you get more sex from your gf. Its common sense. If you dont know that you need to meet more women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 06:00 PM

Well here is the thing. Lots of people agree that being more masculine gets you good results. But i have never met anyone say that being softer and nicer got them better results. Thats a disney move myth, that doesnt happen irl. So we know what to do. People who try and fail say it doesnt work because they couldnt really pull it off. Its not easy to change your personality, that takes a lot of time and conscious effort.

Well a lot of it self serving but here is the truth. A man can be fair to and love more than one woman. What i mean is he can treat more than one woman equally, with equal commitment. This is why a lot of cultures allow multiple wives for men who have the means to take care of them. The other way is not as common because women cannot love multiple men at the same time. A woman can only surrender/submit to one man at a time. That man will have the majority of her devotion and commitment. Any othe…

None of them knew what was going on then realized it later as teens and pretty much say "why tf doesnt that happen now when i can enjoy it" and laugh. At that point you can just laugh with them. I would argue that for women ages 18-25 are more ideal, as they are the most physically appealing, at that part of their life. The husband should get to be with his wife during those years.

No. Yes. I dont think you have much experience in any of these communities. You are just going by a white-washed version of the actual truth. Societies where women don’t date before marriage are just silenced by the men who rape them who are supposedly the men who ‘protect’ them. Assuming most men are rapists automatically annuls this argument. Most men are not rapists. That was a weak counter. Statistically women in rigidly patriarchal communities are more likely to be victims of domestic viole…

I disagree, and so will many others. You can disagree, but its still true. When it comes to first relationships and later on, people learn a lot from them. What they can do, what they have to do and what makes them happy and satisfied. That requires a level of self awareness most young people do not have. And by the time they develop that, the damage done outweighs any benefits. It seems the most happy relationships are the egalitarian ones, not the traditional ones. Here both are equal in power…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 05:10 PM

Very one sided and inaccurate of the whole truth. I will tell you the other side. Societies where women dont date before marriage have men protecting women from bad men. Unlike modern western society where a father or brother cant really do much except say an opinion when the girl decides to date an obvious asshole who she thinks is hot and who WILL hurt her for sure, in traditional societies that guy would be beaten within an inch of his life and chased away. And tbh not a lot of guys like that…

Well technically it is. You dont get better with more partners. Just more baggage , more hangups, more issues etc. Also for a relationship to succeed, the man needs to have power. It is what it is, dont get mad at me for saying the truth. Women get bored and resentful when they are the ones in charge. They may find you cute if you are good looking or they may find it sweet if you are nice but if she is the one with the power, eventually it will grow old. Eventually she will resent you. Its a fac…

LOL a guy would treat his wife better than Margot Robbie? 100%. I think there is a lot of projection going on here. Or you may be looking at husbands portrayed or tv or simps that you know. But there is a reason we call those type of guys simps. What you need to understand is that most men who are mentally strong, are not submissive to status or beauty. /r/PurplePillDebate28/07/21 06:23 PM

I think this also has to do with women losing their ability to pair bond after multiple partners. So of course the first few guys she gets with are gonna get the king treatment but then eventually the guy she ends up with (way down the line) will not get treated as good. Of course this isnt always the case, especially if women are aware of it but most people arent aware of it. The pair bonding thing is rarely ever discussed mainstream.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/21 06:12 PM
17

No thats actually wrong. A guy would treat his wife as good or better than any actress. And thats what OP is saying. We treat our partners better but (SOME) women treat other men than their ltr/marriage guy better. Not the case with all women but i get the sentiment.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/21 06:10 PM

If it has been done by a person before it can be done again. And this is something that has been done by millions of people. So no, a monogamous LTR is not doomed to fail. The big problem imo is that nowadays a lot of men arent being very masculine for a variety of reasons and women are often keeping their options open, even in relationships. Those 2 might be related.

An 18 year old still living at home and an 18 year old living on their own and paying their own bills are in completely different situations. This is true. There is too much variation at the individual level to make broad generalizations imo. And tbh all relationships are unequal. Every relationship has a bit of a power imbalance. Thats fair. Personally i wouldnt have a relationship where there is a 10 year age gap or higher. Most likely to be more so around 3-5 years. I have more of an issue with hookup-culture than age-gap relationships.

Im not going easy on a young man lusting after my daughter either. If its just lust, i wouldnt be okay. If its genuine love and they want to commit then its okay. Regardless of gender. You guys have it all wrong. Maybe, thats why all these young guys are out here messing up your daughters because you guys apparently dont…

Im pretty sure that you are aware that most men care about their partners history. Dont feign ignorance. There are barely any men who would date a woman that has been with a 100 men. And yes, I agree that younger people have their own set of predatory tactics, but that is much more easier to spot than a sinister old person willing to play the long game. Not necessarily. People have different IQ's man. Some young people do better than older ones. Also there are plenty of bad things that come with…

I wouldnt say the majority of men in relationships are beta. They are not. However , men who do not have proper male guidance or dont really understand intersexual dynamics are at risk of being a "beta" in the relationship. Usually, its guys who dont know how to stay on a womans mind and hold a masculine frame in a relationship that have trouble. Nowadays with an open sexual market, these guys are at risk of losing their gf's to guys who know how to get inside their head.

Legal status, plus social and emotional development are all more important than physical. 18 is legal pretty much everywhere. There are places where its lower but not many where its higher. Women are also socially and emotionally more developed than men anyway.

Yeah i dont disagree 😅. My argument is just that its not always predatory. Just because a guy is a loser doesn't mean he is an abuser. Not defending actual abusers but i do have sympathy with some older guys who couldnt make it because at 26, girl my age often ignore me because i had a setback a few years ago due to which i dont have a job. And girls my age usually pick guys who are going steady with their job. There a bunch of guys like me and unless you can make up for it REALLY well in some o…

Good points. I would say men marry usually at their same age or younger and women do the opposite. A bit of an age gap is quite common. I would say once you get past an age gap of 4 years or so, it becomes less and less common.

That is probably a localized study. Throughout the world marrying younger and having fewer partners is directly related to marital success. I will pull it up if i can find it. Its actually been posted to PPD multiole times i believe.

I wanted to keep it open so more people could join the discussion. The reason i brought this up was because i saw that some people here found a 24 yo guy dating an 18 yo girl weird. Irl, i have never heard that. I thought maybe its an internet outrage thing or an american thing.

If you think that everyone has a job at 26 you are mistaken. A good percentage of us dont. If at 26 you don’t have a job that should be your focus. You can focus on that and pursue relationships too. Those two things dont interfere with each other. You have to convince a younger woman who is more easily influenced, to accept you. I dont have to convince anyone. If they like me they like me. Its not different than approaching a woman my age. See this is your bias that you think mem are out here c…

Im not saying that doesnt exist but thats not the case every time. And yeah at 10 + year gap there could be a power imbalance but if both people are younger then its less likely. At the same time young guys are more likely to pump amd dump tham have a relationship. I think that damages young girls just as much.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 03:38 PM

Exactly. Honestly i dont think a guy really cares about a difference between 18-25. I think for most of us it doesnt matter. Its usually when they are 30+ when we consider them older. Or if they are a few years older than us. And so.e guys are into that as well.

And why do you care about what women do with their bodies? If im dating someone or thinking about it, thats important. Younger age doesnt guarantee fewer partners but as you go older the number only goes up not lower. Its 1 factor among many. I wouldn't want my daughter, sister or niece getting together with a man 10+ years their elder simply because it might be "positive" And i wouldnt want my daughter, sister or niece dating a young man , only because there is a chance its not "predatory". I dont have it up right now but its easy to find the study that shows the fewer partners you have the more likely your marriage is to succeed. Which means if both partners are virgins then the marriage is most likely to last out of all cases. This is historically proven as well. By that logic marrying young and to tour first partner is the best way. Not waiting linger and dating around. Even if we could just stop the older people from taking advantage of the young is much better than nothing. My…

LARGE age gaps have a higher potential to be predatory and terrible if one person is very young. I respect that sentiment. With all the answers i have gotten i have to concede that there is a potential for predatory behaviour. Its not always the case but it can be. Thank you for your opinion.

1 is a good point. Although i think student dept is more of a U.S. thing. I dont hear about it as much in europe. For 2 and 3. People who marry younger asctually have longer lasting and more successful marriages. So i have to disagree. As for 4. I think like tou said earlier , families and friends should help prevent those things. Older people arent the only predators. This law wont save them from younger predators.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 04:16 AM

Its also interesting that people who marry younger statistically tend last longer and are more likely to last lifelong.

Going for a younger person is predatory. No it is not. It's sad how older guys delude themselves into thinking younger women like them and aren't just manipulating them for their money. Parents need to do a little bit more to prepare their children for such exploitative people, not throw them out in the lion's den and expect them to survive and stand on their own. This goes for both boys and girls. I agree with this completely. I however also completely reject the notion that 18 yo are helpless and will be taken advantage of compared to 25. If you were to say 35 then yeah. But at 25, no. So raising the legal age imo is ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 03:52 AM

I disagree. Some men truly believe that. Some men are gullible when it comes to love. Its also like western men who get a foreign wife and get her a visa, but then the wife leaves them after she gets the visa. Those guys also thought they would stay.

There are plenty of rich guys who used to be nerds or socially inept and therefore not good with women. These types just focus on themselves and become successful. Once they get successful, the golddiggers spot an easy target and make their move. Some women are very good at emotional manipulation. A lot of these guys believe that those girls really love them. Happens all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 03:38 AM

It can still play out fairly often. A guy who hasnt had much play may start a new job somewhere or join a club somewhere, start doing better in life and meet a younger girl who picks an interest im him. It can happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 03:34 AM
1

The last part is exaclty what i dont get. If women date attractive or rich older men, thats entirely on their choice. On the other hand, if a guy has a hard time attracting women his age, he has no choice but to go lower. Its not fair to criticize a guy like that. He wants the sane that everyone has.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 03:31 AM

Or do you really think that a 40y old rich dude is under the illusion that a 20y old hot woman wants him because it's love? Is that really hard to believe?

More opportunities doesn’t mean they are having more sex. True but it does mean that you have more options and more power. You have a good choice as to whom to date. Guys have to choose from the few women we have a chanve with. Some guys may not have many choices at all. And when you are in a relationship a young woman can replace her man much easier than the other way. So young women often have more power in the relationship. People comment on reddit about predatory behaviour because they want answers, but in reality there are many more relationships with age gaps that have none of these iss…

I wont argue with you in that case, you have a better idea of demographics. I knew of a case where a guy payed for schooling, travelling etc. She wasnt an escort, she was officially his gf. But the relationship was clearly transactional. But the guy went through a divorce and illness before he met her. He was in a bad spot and she left him in a bad spot too. In this case i would say she was the one taking advantage.

I would argue women who are virgins for a longer time are even more impressive. Being a virgin in your late teens or early 20s is not very uncommon. But being a virgin in your mid to late 20s as a woman nowadays is getting rare nowadays. If you choose to stay like that , that signals good sexual self control. Its definitely still a positive.

I can understand that in the sense that a 24 year old has a lot more experience than an 18 year old. Which makes it easier for them to manipulate an 18 year old. Another 24 year would be able to spot red flags that an 18 year old wouldn’t. This is entirely individual. A 24 yo doesnt necessarily have more experience than an 18 yo. Plenty of men in their 20s are still virgins or had very few experiences. Young women have a lot more options and therefore often have more experiences. So it can very …

Thats not the reason why that law wont change. The reason is because its ridiculous to change it. You dont deny that 18 yo can drive. They can live on their own. They can work. And if you are going to argue that they should be off limits to 25 yo because at 25 yo you are a bit more developed, then you have no choice but to open up the discussion to the fact that people have vastly different IQ's, that women have higher emotional and mental capabilities than men (which gives them the advantage) a…

Im not denying that most 40 yo men are more powerful than 18 yo girls by a margin. But im just talking about regular age gaps. A lot of people here on reddit take issue with a man in his mid 20s dating an 18 yo. A man in his mid 20s is very unlikely to have developed any real wealth, power or connections that puts him in a power position. Meanwhile women are playing dumb about how young women pretty much are at the time where they have the most options and power in the dating market. That is bes…

9 year age gaps are not that common. But smaller age gaps are quite common around the globe. I understand that creepy dudes exist and i wont defend them. But thats also very individual. Not every person is a predator. Some older guys are nice people. And there are many young creeps and predators too. I would just say to trust your instincts always and watch out for whoever is making you uncomfortable and stay away from those types in general.

If there is a reason for a change in law, it will happen. Its not an outdated law. This idea that an 18 yo cannot make good decisions is stupid. And it is a matter of smarts. Im sorry but no matter of mental development will save a stupid 25 yo from being outsmarted and taken andvantage of by an intelligent 18 yo. Thats a fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:18 AM

Thats not a reasonable rebuttal. Most armies in the world do not use 9 year old soldiers. Thats more likely with militans and terrorists who are short on options and use any means necessary. Legit armies want and have access to physically stronger and matured men. The army could get older men too but older me arent as physically fit as younger men.

As a 33 year old man, I know some women aged 18-23 who common sense, maturity, intelligence, "emotional" intelligence, social skills/social IQ mog the fuck out of me, such that power imbalance would be in her favor Exactly. A lot of people dont consider the fact that women on average have higher mental and emotional capacities than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 12:57 AM

This is extremely overblown. An 18 yo is capable and able to serve in the military, drive cars, drink alcohol and live on their own. Its not like they are a little kid compared to a 25 yo. And that goes beyond individual differences. Some 18 yo will always be smarter and more mature than a 25 yo or even much older people. There are different levels to IQ. By that logic, smarter people should be banned from dating people in lower brackets.
