It's not about the bill explicitly mentioning men, it's about the documentable context of men being charged for doing literally the same thing women do without being charged, having sex while drunk. The fact that it happens, currently, makes it a fair implication that this will be used to charge men and not women.

Side note: murderers have lower rates of recidivism than other types of criminals. If you kill your wife you've already killed the person you hated and have no reason to be breaking rules. Murdering the murderer effectively doubles the amount of murder.

I am 100% behind you, but the video starts with the scuffle in progress and we don't know if dad didn't step in until then because it wasn't worthy of stepping in yet and he wasn't going to bull rush through a crowd to stop a little hair pulling. regardless of whether or not she willingly put herself in that position. Because for some reason people think so little of women that they need to be protected. Even if they did have their pictures uploaded online, they fucking knew that was a possibility. Does it suck? Yes, but when you send naked pictures to someone it's out into the ether. I know this, so why would I expect that I am somehow superior? Why would I expect that others wouldn't know this too?

I've done MMA for a little over 9 years and I'm always one of the very few people a girl can spar with, because nobody else will hit them. If nobody gives you intensity in the gym then you won't understand it in the cage, and it's not like I beat them up any worse than I do any of the guys, but people still look down on me for "hitting a girl" which is the most ridiculously sexist thing. \rant

You can't force someone else to take that risk. Over the top violent would be following up with more punches when she was down. It isn't the lion's fault that they're a lion, it's the zebra's fault for poking the lion when it's just a zebra. You can say he hit her too hard, but I'm assuming you've never boxed. Reactionary punches are fast and fast punches are hard. Also, she was charged with assault but the charge was dropped.
