women Are we talking about whole 4 billion of them?

they don't have access to 24 hour gyms and beauty tweaks to keep them young. so they age terrible. Agreed, that's why I guessed the other person could be from a blue collar/rural community. In such communities it might make sense to want a younger woman since it's a high probability they'll age fast and not very well due to the life style. Then again, if she'll become in a few years what you didn't want now, what's the point in chasing a younger woman? I think what I'm trying to say is most wome…

That's a big "if" but... I agree with you IF the woman keeps fit. I understand what you mean and agree but I think there's a critical point to consider. If a man is with one of those "big if" women (who don't keep fit), he's already done for because in just a few years she'll lose all she had to offer in terms of physique. So this is a bit like a paradox you know. Like what's the point of wanting a younger woman if just in a few years she'll be what you didn't want in the first place anyway? I'm…

Do you live in East Asia or something? Nope, lived in a few big cities in the west, typical white collar life. Still do. At this point I'm thinking you're looking at 18 year olds and thinking they're 23. Even without the makeup 23-24 is the same as 30-31, especially if the woman is petite. I think women converge from 18 to around 23 (all the college partying, alcohol and whatnot). If they're keeping fit and healthy they stay there for 7-8 years. The only way you could tell a healthy woman's age …

Sounds like you've ended up in very unlucky places or mainly live in a blue collar kind of community. In my circles (white collar professionals and the likes) you can't tell a 23 year old from a 30 year old (given she's never had kids and not let herself go). Again, I don't mean all these 30 somethings look so young, but both these 20 somethings and 30 somethings look no different. I don't know what number to give it but let's say they all look 25. I can absolutely tell the difference even fro…

women's prime is from about 20-26 This I never get. I'm over here asking have you guys ever seen a 20-26 year old vs 26-30 year old vs 30-35 year old woman? Given they've not given up and not had kids, they're all the same... Just to be clear, I'm not saying 30-35 year olds look young, I'm saying 20-26 year olds already look so much like 30-35 year olds. Well I'd personally say 23-26 because 20-23 range can still be visibly younger. But show me any woman with enough self-respect to keep fit from…

Yeah that's all fair. If she genuinely wants to and actively makes an effort to make time to look good but sometimes just can't because of kids etc. then I'd 100% respect that and I'd go out of my way to help her as much as I could. For example I'd keep the kids busy (play with them etc.) after work so she can have some time to relax and take care of herself. Cooking and cleaning, as I said, I'd just buy a service for. But letting go is something else and I'd definitely get a divorce if she let …

We're discussing mental illness again, nice. Any man or woman who compares their current partner(s) to the previous ones is flat out sick in the head. I'm not saying one wouldn't ever spent some milliseconds doing that subconsciously and it's forgotten before it's even remembered, but if it's big enough to go on the conscious level, and even bigger to surface all the way to the top at the behavior level, one would be pretty sick and unfit for any healthy attempts of being in a relationship. Do…

There's a bit of a misunderstanding here. I'm 100% okay with funding it, it's not an issue. The issue would be her feeling like looking her best is an assignment. I don't feel like it's a chore when I'm working out or grooming. I feel very positive and motivated because why would I not want to look my best?

Exactly. He could be shooting 9/10s the whole time thinking they were 7s. This thing is nothing but market dynamics, economics 101 really. Both the man's and the woman's job is to first maximize their SMV (better job, better income, better character, better culture, better physique) then correctly identify your SMV to find a fitting partner by initially shooting up as high as you want but then balancing by gradually lowering your standards till you hit the jackpot. Makes sense. I'd really want to get a prenup but thinking about having that talk with her in the first place, and also that I even feel the need to get a prenup is making my head hurt. And even then, it'd technically not be 100% foolproof as you said. what "legal danger" are you even talking about? I probably make at least 50-70% more than a middle class woman and when that's the case in a divorce lawsuit, the law (and likely the woman) will look to fuck me over pretty good with alimony and whatnot. But when the woman herself is making closer to what I make, although I'll still get fucked, it'll most likely be considerably less both because we're closer in status in the eyes of the law and the chances of an upper class woman looking to milk m…

men have no concept of the cost of a lot of these things for women Were you referring to house keeping costs or hair/skin care costs? 5k/year isn't a big deal to me. And if you were referring to house keeping costs, I already pay much more than 5k/year for cooking and cleaning services. So I believe I do have a concept of these things. This question is like asking "10 lions vs 10000000000000000 ants who would win?" "Doesn't put much effort into her appearance" is unforgivable. I'm a busy man but I still hit the gym, groom like a maniac, watch what's on my face etc. "Not obese" is not enough. No because it's not like everybody has taken a proper Mensa test. It's balancing, not settling. And balancing is exactly how any natural mating works in the nature. All parties (both man and women) can naturally choose to start with arbitrarily high standards, which is all natural. If any party (man or woman) hasn't been able to find a fitting partner with their current standards, that means they have overvalued themselves and must therefore balance their standards and repeat until a fitting partner is found. Balancing is not a bad thing, it is the right thing…

thing women for only sex is as much an ApReCiAtive activity as much as it is to use men for their money. Using men only for their money would also simply not indicate or necessitate hatred of men. Same as in the scenario where a man only wants sex from women, a woman only wanting money from men would only tell you that the person has a very transactional relationship with the opposite sex. See? Exactly what I'm talking about. So your indirect statement is that if a man only wants to have sex with women, that's a misogynist (hating women) behavior. Truth is, sex is natural, men like women, and men like having sex with women. This doesn't show anything about a man's hatred for women. It is absolutely insane to suggest that a highly pleasuring activity with the opposite sex indicates anything at all about the hatred of the opposite sex. You took a very general and a very real concept and stuffed it into a tiny subject that is about men trusting women. You could give your parents and good friends pretty high marks like over 95% perhaps, but you should know to never give anyone 100%. Not even yourself. It happened because feminism found its playing ground on the left. Social events, sports clubs, through friends, hobbies if it's a social one, social media, online dating. Bars/clubs/pubs might work too but I'd say the quality of interaction (or the woman) is usually low. One that always boggles me is when people suggest "restaurants". How the hell do you even meet a woman in a restaurant? As a man, if I'm a restaurant, it's pretty clear that I don't wanna talk but just sit and eat. Just... how?

Yeah man, it blew up in demand (understandably) and it got bettered over the years. Just like hair transplant surgery, it keeps getting better and cheaper. Pretty viable option for men who can afford it. You're right though, adding 5-6+ inches to just your legs makes you look funny. Gotta limit it at 3 inches, maybe 4.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 11:46 AM

They're able to add 3 to 4 inches at a time and one's able to get it twice it seems. Your leg's not gonna snap during regular training which is enough to keep fit and healthy. If you're pushing 4-6 inches then yeah your proportions couldn't probably keep up but if you're adding 3 or 4 inches you'll still look proportionate. So a 5ft4 guy could push 5ft7-5ft8. If he's fit and handsome and wealthy, he'd now be in a proper league. So it doesn't seem straight up retarded for those who can afford it …

Heightflation. Jokes aside, there already is a quite successful but equally expensive limb lengthening surgery which I expect to get even better and more affordable in years to come. Nobody can say poor men will have an opportunity to be taller but men who are well off already do and will have such an opportunity. Again, I wouldn't do this for a couple inches because women can't tell and it's just silly. A guy going from 5ft6 to 5ft10 is doing it big time though and it would drastically improve …

More and more older and divorced people are choosing to live apart, even in long term, committed relationships This reads like more and more people go to the moon without going to the moon. Feminists are quite upset about some men having the ability to find younger than expected partners because this, although very locally, creates a virtual increase in supply (women), leading to relationships and, you guessed it, happy men and women. Moderation is best. Looks like we're discussing two-three standard deviations to either side of the median, and of course we end up talking about extremes which don't make much sense. So the assumption is a "respectful" man would never "hit on a woman". This assumption is wrong. There's no link between being an a-hole/respectful and flirting with women. The "respectful" man in question is one that is obviously not trying to flirt with the woman so she's not taking any interest in him. It's simple guys; no flirting…

Eh, this is one of those times where a discussion would feel like trying to convince a flat earther the world is not flat. I must say though that your combination of hatred and ignorance is quite similar to say an ISIS militant in the way that it could easily be weaponized. Actually, it already is weaponized considering what's been happening to society as a consequent of feminism and the unnecessary conflict, in which you appear to quite happily take a part, between both sexes. How is this going to affect society? The same way all the other poison spread by feminism has already been doing it, it will work to destroy society. Too many misconceptions for me to address in your post but I'll do the below: Incel (involuntary celibate) doesn't mean single, it means sexless (and quite possibly single). So you're confusing things. And the west isn't destroyed - yet. It's in motion, started in the 70s with feminism so it's been half a century now. It doesn't serve much purpose when one's oblivious to an issue they're trying to discuss so I'll leave it here.

Well if we go down this rabbit hole we would be talking about percentages that don't even exist let alone can be measured, so it wouldn't be a very fruitful discussion. I keep using the same 80-20 to refer to the current mate selection criteria women have adopted through the TV and social media. if that's the case at least 50% of feminists aren't getting any. Nothing wrong with having high standards. Absolutely, for both men and women. On women's part, what's harming society today is they lock onto a high standard and not lower (balance) it even if they fail to find a partner fitting those initially high standards (indicating an overvaluation of one's self in the sexual market). It's really a two step action to naturally correct this mess: start as high as you want, lower and balance if you're not finding a partner there. I mean basic math right? If …

The math is simple here. As a man, if you're able to double/triple your income in your early 30s compared to what you were making in your mid 20s, and also you at least keep your physical appearance (not get fat etc.), then your SMV should go up in your early 30s but not because that age had some specific number on it, but because you are now looking more or less the same while making more money. A small incentive for men to make more money: You can actually get a bit taller in our times. There's a surgery for that works most of the time. There are also other cosmetic and successful remedies for men like hair transplant. I'd guess most are, which is precisely why a single woman in her 30s and beyond has substantially lower SMV since their dating pool has lower value men. She said it herself that she's now giving the shy guy (indicating lowER value than ideally desired) a chance. A high value man, on average, marries a woman younger than himself. I'm a man, I know what we want, in my early 30s making six figures I'd only consider mid to late 20s women for marriage since I want kids.

I agree there are many really attractive women in their 30s, 40s, even 50s. And yes, the buyers change as the age goes up. The thing is though the buyers' first preference is 20 somethings. Then 30s, then 40s and so on. I think it would not help much debating the fact that women's attractiveness goes down as they age. The topic is about lasting relationships. I'm following what you're saying, which is about "getting laid", to which I gave an example of "milfs" to show you that the part of your SMV you're losing by aging is in the way that men will not consider you for reproductive goals. Yes, what I'm saying is being forward certainly increases your chances. But I must disagree with your other point. Unless you were exceptionally attractive in your early to mid 20s and kept your physique in check over the years, making you less affected by aging, by market dynamics, your prospective mates must be lower value on average because higher value ones, the ones that were approaching you when you were 20 something, are still mostly doing the same thing and approaching 20 somethings as t…

You don't "have" to do anything, especially if you're a woman with super high SMV in your early to mid 20s. I'm merely remarking upon the fact that women's SMV start to drop considerably after late 20s/early 30s. And I believe your "greatest victories" aren't relevant in this context as OP is rather interested in romantic relationships and not mere sexual encounters. Your results look good but they only indicate a rise in the demand you get from men because you were making it difficult for men to be attracted to you in your 20s by being unhappy, as you say it. So we can say you weren't doing yourself justice in your 20s and thus we can't say your SMV in your 20s was truly reflected. You fixed that issue now and you're expectedly getting more attention. What's realized of course isn't that not only you are worth more, but majority of women are worth more because of the skewed market dynamics (high demand low supply). What I'm trying to say is, if you stopped initiating things now being a woman in your 30s, the average SMV of your prospective mates would be considerably lower than was in your 20s since men with …

Exactly because of the fact that young men are doing the direct opposite of what you're saying. Meaning that, unlike women, men are making having a partner of opposite …

I would so wish to still be among the audience of "you young people"! But I see your point on young people feeling entitled, and I do agree. I was merely suggesting ways the current supply-demand could balance. My assertion is, even if you're short with a tiny penis and ugly face and half balding at age 28, while you may not "score" once a week with different woman, your sexual market value (SMV) is sufficient that you can find a long term mate that has equal SMV I must disagree with this th…

Similarly, very few, poor men should struggle to find sex. It's like 200 an hour.

the whole "top male" thing may have some explanatory value. The 80-20 (or whatever the current numbers are) is very real, and is called game theory in mathematics. It explains how both sides (men and women) are hit by the choices made. A large percentage of women completely ignore a large percentage of men as potential sexual partners, this renders this large percentage of women high demand and these low percentage of men become low supply. So this large percentage of women end up having to wait…

I never understood why men would struggle to have sex in our times. A man with proper financial means (as a proper man should be) can easily have sex with really attractive women by compensating their time.

I mean, I don’t think anyone here is going to argue that there is no fertility wall. Thirty-something man here, making six figures yada yada. I would not care if a woman made $7k more every year after 30 when I'm evaluating her value in the prospect of dating/relationships as I will always be seeking a mid to late 20s woman. I find the article quite strange in that regard. So yes, there is a fertility wall.

It is all indeed not about psychology but simple economics, but those men will still be angry because the current market is a buyer's (woman's) market as modern men, for whatever reason, ended up placing so much importance into having a woman and having sex. So women's value exploded and the 80-20 occured. In this messed up market you can't quite go to those majority of men and say "hey it's got nothing to do with psychology but all with economics" and expect them to calm down as those economics…

Inhibition is at least a little necessary for a functioning society. Hard working and smart men who don't make sex and women their number one priority and who don't cry out on public forums are necessary for a functioning society. You may not believe it but this would also break the current 80-20 madness that you all so like to complain about, ultimately serving you as well.

No because being single in many cases is not controlled by the individual and the government knows it. It would be like taxing people for having a certain physical attribute.

I wasn't expecting to see anybody realizing this. This is exactly the problem modern men have. Back in the days men's goals were not as dumb and simple as having a woman and having sex. Men used to concern themselves with making money, working hard, becoming stronger, even conquering whole countries and going to war. 50 years ago men concerned themselves with building machinery, inventing technology, building a global economy after the devastation WW2 had brought. Women were never the goal, nor …

We know we have to put in the effort, and we want to. Speak for yourself as not all men put women on a pedestal and think that the effort should be put in getting women. Strong men put their effort in becoming their best in their physique, career, and health. None of these require a woman to be achieved. And it is so sad that even after agreeing to put whatever effort you were talking about in getting women, you are still asking (which is actually begging) for an opportunity. Sorry but not all m…

There's a lot of RPW members who works full to part time, makes six figures, owns their own businesses, etc. but subscribe to the model of having male-led relationships. Yes and it's a really good thing. I doubt the point many people here are missing is the part where the man leads, but rather a lot of the comments and suggestions I read here revolve around women doing things in a relationship that would already be done or could easily be done by the man. Like words of affirmation, cookies, phys…

This isn't a 100% red pill relationship. Mrs Handler has a career and is very independent with her own goals while still having a strong figure in their home. They're doing it right because it takes two strong figures to make a proper home as opposed to the common belief here that suggests a "provider" man is enough and all the woman has to do is clean the house and bake him cookies.

Man with traditional values here, my personal comment and experience below: I've changed everything since I met him, I dress differently, I don't talk to men, I don't go out alone with men, Unfortunately it doesn't matter what you change. This is one of those things to some men that are irreversible. Men with traditional values put the highest values into this. In my case I could never come to terms with it and knew that I could find a woman who hasn't done it so I let her go. I think your optio…

I thought you would appreciate a man's input on this. As a man who makes his own fine living and his own home (cooks, cleans, decorates, maintains), the only two things I would expect from a woman would be one, to enrich my soul by engaging in meaningful conversations with me, sharing and discussing ideas with me, challenging my intelligence; and two, to be an excellent mother to our kids. In all honesty, I couldn't care less about words of affirmation or cookies. I bake my own cookies and don't…
