Casual sex is only about sex. Neither party is supposed to be in it for anything more than that. It really isn't that much different than paying for it while looking for a longer-term partner. Also, the casual relationships themselves may be low cost - getting to them however is not. Hinge is £14 a week, dude. A WEEK.

No thanks - if I want to get my dick wet without commitment, I will see an escort. https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/1qw9tr1/paying_for_it_is_so_much_better_than_casual_sex/

Women have easy access to casual sex, and sex in general, while men do not. That is the advantage a solitary woman has over a solitary man. Both are NSA / not long term, so if women choose not to date, and men struggle to find dates as a result of that, then sexbots and AI will fill the void because most men do not cross the threshold to access casual sex.

As long as we have sex robots / AI girlfriends and hookers to level with women's easy access to casual sex. You cannot mute the male sex drive. Every road, every lamp post and piece of public infastructure was (most likely) put there by a man, to subconsciously build for a future wife and kids

For the most part, yes. But there are absolutely exceptions. t. went into back-office financial services at 19, never went to uni, now 27 and still going strong with my shit together.

Yeah, and those slime balls are ending up with just-as-slimey women, are usually filled with drama and there's no love in it whatsoever. I have seen this in both media and real life. There is nothing wrong with being shy or neurotic or anxious etc as long as you treat people nicely. Not "nice guy" but you get the idea.

There were signs, trust me. I even booked a few days stay at her city for it. We met while on a group travel tour some years ago, then months later I worked up the courage to hit her up and she seemed genuinely excited to see me. Although I did say, "even if it didn't lead anywhere". I guess the flipside is that now that I have tried to peformatively rizz someone based on what dating advice for men told me, I can now confidently say I would rather someone not be into my authentic self romantical…

Agree completely. Sad that the internet has caused many men to think "I have to do X Y and Z so that she likes me" - I fumbled a really good looking date because of it and have regretted it ever since, wish I was just myself even if it didn't lead anywhere.

This mindset doesn't account for situational and contextual factors that can affect ones' ability to meet people easily. If your workplace doesn't have a lot of women you'd consider, if you don't have an adequate third space, if you didn't go to college etc etc. Many attractive people can lack prospects solely due to how their life is arrayed.

I was referring more to where you do the approaching - daygame, nightgame, at a coffee shop or in a bar etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 03:56 AM

Well yeah teaching isn't ideal at all for workplace relationships, there's probably extra rules on that more than any other profession. In any case though you would be socializing and progressing outside work. Approaching women is really just saying "how's it going?" randomly when up at the bar or out in the smoking area. Like you're talking to anyone else. Just talk as if they were a regular stranger.

27 Roughly around 4 or 5, I can't exactly remember. But it's definitely under 10. I know you said no apps but I did have 1 date in the last few months, otherwise 0. I live abroad right now, originally from the UK. For a while I frequented bars and other night spaces since they're my only real option for meeting westerners my age, but regardless, I find that every time I want to approach a girl, she is always with A. friends, B. a boyfriend or C. family. To sum it up: my biggest problems have always been logistical. I never went to uni - which turned out to be one of the best choices I ever made though it does have one or two critical drawbacks, not being surrounded by women being one of them. And when it came to work and third spaces, people I was interested in never really showed up a lot in person. I have also always hated online dating / apps because frankly ever since their inception I always found them to be stupid. I've only been on 4 fir…

Would you recommend going to bars and clubs alone? If you avoid the "usual" ones and go to specific venues / events that play the music you like, then that is absolutely a valid reason to go alone - in fact, it's getting even more popular now with people de-toxing from social media. If the music isn't good then a good hack is to have a pair of earbuds handy playing your own music. Can actually be a good conversation starter ironically. The issue with this mindset is that it's very easy to get into a slippery slope. Like, yeah, you're not entitled to sex, but there's a point where it starts to become moving mountains to get it - if that effort is not being reciprocated then is it really still your fault?

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 08:27 AM

It is abundantly clear in men-women discourse including this sub that men are the initiators and drivers of everything romantic and sexual with women and this is being propped up by both genders. Language doesn't change the mindset.

Depends if you mean the western world or the whole world. Western world, I would say about 60%. Entire world, definitely 20%. Then I would just add 10% for women - 70% western, 30% worldwide.

I totally agree in principle, however you have to look at the flip side and tackle the motivation for why men get into red pill - it is a means to an end and ensures they keep what they desire. If you communicate honestly, there is a huge risk that you will turn her off / she will make you wait / she won't see you in a romantic or sexual light. If you don't keep your wits about you in relationships, she can take advantage of that and cheat on you while not giving it to you. Basically, if you're …

Um, the entire purpose of sex robots is because men are having less sex and all that because of, you know, everything to do with modern dating. If a man gets a sex robot there's no way he has any intention of getting with a real woman. Also, there are quite a few easy ways to hide a life-sized robot - just get an ottoman bed.

The problem with this mindset is that if men had it, then NO MAN would get a girlfriend, unless women are then encouraged to become the driving force in dating / relationships, which isn't going to be taken by them lightly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:25 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 10:48 AM

But a lot of times they're not even acting expectant, they will reach for their card and assume they'll end up going dutch while secretly wanting the man to go "I'll handle this" and pay for it. The man is often not allowed to ask to go dutch or expect to do so. The risk factor for the guy is the awkward situation but the reward comes from handling it well. I agree it's bullshit - it's why men can never tell whether they should or shouldn't pay the whole bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:40 PM

Then that proves my point and really can't blame you, dude. Honestly don't get why people have a thing about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:34 PM

I guess it depends on the guy. If he has an otherwise established life but there aren't many dating prospects at work or in other spaces he's part of, then can you blame him if he dedicates at least one avenue solely for dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:17 PM

I personally wouldn't give two shits if my participation in a community is now awkward because of dating, because not only is that how I genuinely feel but it displays confidence and not giving a damn, which are supposed to be attractive male qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:15 PM

The issue is that although women say otherwise, it often turns out that they still secretly want the man to put his foot down, take charge and pay for it. It's a shit test.

Lmao this was all true about 10-15 years ago but now women have wised up to this shit. This is post-redpill world now - women will smell from a mile away if you're faking it.

They don't know how to make a conversation / interaction flirty, how to show their romantic and sexual interest According to whom? Trying to establish a standard of flirting is exactly why guys struggle being in the friendzone. Stop pretending that this is an exact science - it's not. Anyway, for OP's benefit - the trick is to find something you like about a girl and compliment her on it. Not because the internet told you to say this at the right time and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 04:03 AM
2

You need to be a little bit of a jerk, a challenge and must trigger a bunch of negative emotions in a woman to actually succeed in dating. All of this needs to come out naturally without you thinking about it - it's not something you work towards then get. Not by forcing or acting it out - if you do that then women will smell that from miles away. The same goes for the "nice" traits - your friend acted like the Nice Guy(tm) not because he's actually a decent person but by complimenting her acade…

On the surface, they don't. But my point is they do nothing to influence or change anything about how women behave, they encourage it instead.

This is a pretty flawed argument for a couple of reasons: Weak men = betas / inkwells / average joes / etc etc who all struggle to get with women, therefore, most will have no incentive to pedestalize women. Yes, you get some fringe idiots who give money to OnlyFans girls they will never meet or at the very least never get to touch or be with. Strong men / Chads / Alphas, despite their status and all, actually do very little to change or oppose female nature, despite how much they speak out agai…

I think it's fine as long as they do it quietly and without plastering memes about it on social media - I see that as rubbing it in men's faces.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 04:12 PM

Also: There is an enormous population of men who pay sex workers for non-sexual services. Companionship, to talk to him, etc. So clearly it isn't all about the sex This is an interesting point because there's this concept in the online-independent escort space that technically you're paying for their time and companionship only, and this was traditionally a means to skirt laws in some countries where flat-out paying a stranger for sex alone is illegal. So technically, you're not really paying fo…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 12:09 PM

Quite a fair number of them do, actually. As well as married men, and other men who frankly shouldn't be paying for it. Trust me, I know. They're the ones who jade the prostitutes which paints the nice guys / guys that don't fit society's criteria for casual with the same brush.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 12:03 PM

I actually agree with you on quite a few of these - the slutshaming, taking care of children, masculine friendship - but I'll just explain why I think it's ended then tell you the points I disagree on. So, yes, across the world as a whole, men are in positions of power, but in the west? You must've been living under a rock. Like, just look at DEI in companies, media nowadays, movies with an overwhelming amount of female leads... etc etc. But from a more real world perspective it goes deeper: wom…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 11:57 AM

If you make analogies like this then you're the one who should touch grass. We are animate beings with cells that are constantly being divided and replaced. And not many people know this, but there's this neat little thing called menstruation, where every month or so, the walls of the vagina are sloughed off and replaced with new walls. So even if you ignore the fact that pretty sally takes showers daily, there's no real difference to the cleanliness of the cooch.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 07:23 AM

So it is sex for status and not the sex itself, which I find pretty warped to be honest. Bragging about it which may drive his friends to pay escorts.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:32 AM

I think the patriarchy has long since ended lol but I'm curious - what would ending it do in this case?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:28 AM

Agreed. And in particular with bad sex - it's wise for a virgin or guy on a dry spell to practice with a professional so they won't disappoint a real partner in the bedroom down the line.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:26 AM

You mean if she didn't advertise herself and didn't accept a request to meet. Even if you're willing to pay her rate she has no actual obligation to be there, she can screen out bad clients anf stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:21 AM

The whole "girl wants you" applies to LONG TERM as I've mentioned repeatedly in my OP and this thread. Feelings aren't exactly involved in casual sex. It's about status more than anything - the guy gets his "I made a woman have sex with me" validation and the girl gets off to being fucked by someone in power, but they don't like the guy himself - only the cock and status attached to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 12:22 AM

It means exactly that - choice. They can do it for a while, do it every now and then, or not at all. They can do it as a side to their main job. And speaking from experience they really are just everyday women who happen to sell companionship and sex. I also only see white westerners so it's all familiar.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 02:06 PM

Okay but if you read the very first sentence in my post above, I am referring to independent escorts who do it by choice.

It's all "pretending" in so far as men fake it till they make it and women are super conscious of what they're doing in that moment and there's no real love in it. And that isn't true, it may surprise you to know that some women actually enjoy sex and charge for it accordingly, then stop once they've gathered enough money for whatever it is they need.

It's more like you have to be smart with your investment - you pay a bit of money to get them to care, not too much, you then weigh it up as you go along etc. But it usually doesn't end well.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 07:20 AM

Women in consensual relationships do care about men or they wouldn't be with them That can change at the drop of a hat. Professionalism in your presence sure, do you honestly believe they dont share stories between themselves though? I'm sure they have a great laugh. Well you don't know that for sure, do you? And even then, so what? And again, she went through with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 07:17 AM
3

Okay but the fact is, they went through with the request. A civvy wouldn't. They would get the ick, storm out of the room, and then gossip to everyone she knows. And if the prostitute does gossip then as long as you didn't use your real identity / name / phone number then what can she do? Obvs assuming you didn't do anything abusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 07:16 AM
1

I agree in principle but is that always the case though? Like if you're referring to a brothel or street-level prostitution then yes, and of course trafficking which is not what I endorse at all. But in my experience there are escorts who are actually enthusiastic to see good clients after the client introduces himself a little in their request for a booking and the escort has all the power in the world to be there or not, no one is forcing them.

I agree. I wouldn't go near agency sites, brothels, walk-ups, onlyfans or wherever, any women with tattoos and piercings, any filipino / latina / romanian / east european as those are likely to fall within those categories. But the white escorts with websites and who write english well, there are plenty of legitimate ones who do it because they want to. They can pull out at any time, and they don't have a pimp, but they do it anyway.

A man pursuing a woman just to get his dick wet is not trying to connect with women, and he will actually be blamed for trying to do so. Where I'm from (London) there are plenty of well-adjusted women who do it on the regular, sometimes temporarily for uni fees or even as a side hustle to their main job, all voluntarily, and are completely normal "girl next door" types. They're not supermodels but by no means streetwalkers, and they're not off cesspit sites and X.

Casual isn't about genuine connection, so yeah you get validation that you "seduced" her but you're not supposed to actually care about her according to casual-havers.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 03:42 AM

YMMV but those are all pretty tame for paid stuff except maybe spanking. Some do some don't. But you're also far less likely to be judged and casual sex partners can always storm out of the bedroom.

Is it a red flag if it is purely a result of situational things, i.e. he was sent to a boys only high school, he didn't go to uni, he lived on his own since he was in his early 20s and never flat shared, and he doesn't buy into the whole "approach" and pickup thing. Is it his fault then if it never "falls into place"?

It seems that older men, like retired and 60+ are more likely to feel the most lonely and isolated. In terms of not having a partner, don't think so. Many have been there, done that, and maybe are just lonely in general. Either way it's quality loneliness unlike getting past 25 and still never having had a relationship. Though there are gen Z and Millenials who are incels that feel lonely due to not having a partner or possibly also not having many friends. Yes but my point was that if they got …

With the majority of men there is a psychological. almost evolutionary drive to go from family > friends > relationship (as in, who you care most about in your life, if that makes sense). Hopefully I am just single - honestly it's really hard for me to gauge it because I get very few opportunities to meet women, follow up with them, ask them out etc and I've always been disillusioned with dating apps. But that said, the definition of incel (thought it was censored here for some reason lol) is a …

While I agree in principle that you should have friends before relationships as a form of natural progression, I can say with certainty it makes zero difference to 'the male lonliness epidemic' - I've been looking for a relationship for years but it's just never happened. Men can absolutely be inkwells by the very basic definition and be completely well-adjusted in every other area. I can see why many guys prefer it and why from a purely evo-psych perspective it would benefit, but I actually prefer and would expect a bit of experience - not hundreds but, say, 1-3 serious relations and not many hookups. Because it's just stupid, honestly. You know why he's approached you. He knows why he's approached you. He made up his mind on wanting to shag you the moment he decided to approach. Like are you expecting some novel thing to come out of a guy approaching you after you looked at him for 3 seconds???

For me it's not really a woman's beauty, but the situation. She'll be with her friends, with a guy or two (one of whom may or may not be her boyfriend), is she preoccupied, when is the right moment to say something, etc etc. When you have all this shit in the way then her beauty almost becomes an afterthought, lol. I mean most women are attractive to most men.

The issue is they don't want relationships on equal footing they want submission. Women don't really care about men, but when they do, they demand dominance more than men demand submission. Men want romance and wholesomeness without all the sentimental over-the-top stuff but women prefer the allosexual man.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 09:06 PM

I mean we more or less live for a chance with the opposite sex, everything that men built and did in the world was in the pursuit of sex. And who said anything about a bitch? She's only a bitch if she's not giving it to you. The only people who can realistically expect faithfulness are muslims.

"Just be yourself" is more bluepill where redpill usually tells you "never be nice to a woman", "never tell a woman she's pretty" etc etc - redpill is far more likely to impose rules on what you can say or do to women.

What makes this difficult is red pill telling you to be sexual in a specific way, but what we should be telling guys is, tell her what YOU like about her. "You've got some nice thighs, I bet you're the one on top" - something like that lol

While it sounds healthy on paper, the problem is that disincentives men from trying. You cannot tell men to decenter women, yet also remind them that they have be the ones to initiate, to pursue, to ask her out, to seduce her and basically control everything.

As much as I agree with the general notion that all men pay in some way shape or form for women to spend time with them, escorts should not be the last resort - they should be thought of as there to help you get along until you manage to make it without directly paying for it. Or if you're a virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 05:15 PM

This is some main character syndrome. Why is it always your fault? You can only do so much before the onus is on the other party to give. Are there people who put in more effort? Absolutely. But they're not the only ones getting it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 07:01 PM

What is it you think effort entitles you to get, exactly? If you're a well-adjusted, hygienic and decent guy and you make the effort to put yourself out there and go on dates then you should find someone eventually who wants you. It's not that hard to grasp. Men are biologically determined to do shit in life for women. It's the natural end result. Sex from a woman who doesn’t want it? No, sex with a woman who wants me. Where's this coming from?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 06:52 PM

If you put in the effort then yes, you are entitled to get something. This isn't about men doing nothing and subsequently complaining.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 06:13 PM

I didn't say anything should be "done for me". The key word was pretend - the point implies that as the man it is on me to fit in by sharing somewhat of the same interests as women. That either happens on its own or I have to fake it, which isn't genuine. And I completely agree with friend being in the name - people normally like to find other people they can click with. Is that such an alien concept?

Will have to look around on Facebook to see if there's any, but I imagine it's a lot more popular in the US since you have way more options in terms of staycations, lol.

This 100%, only major downsides though are that it's expensive and you have to hope that there's girls from your city / area or reasonably close rather than just your country. I had to travel 2 hours to meet a girl from a trip once, we had a date but it didn't go anywhere after that... not ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:39 AM

Simple - anything labelled "dating" immediately pre-empts the whole ordeal with people's perceptions and ideas that were programmed into them by media, society and culture. Much better to attend regular events and have it sort of as an unwritten expectation.

Not only are they naive, they're lazy. They never talk about where to find women, how to talk to them, and how to do so in a way conducive to progress.

I usually apply number one by default but apply number two in my own ways because it feels natural to me. It's always good to take notes from internet coaches but also equally good to toss out the stuff you can't roll with.

The internet taking things to extremes as usual. Nothing wrong with video games - just play the older ones for a couple hours a week as a pastime, not a hobby. Or socially with other people in person. Nothing wrong with corn - you're just looking at the shitty stuff. (anything from the front page of cornhub etc - consume tasteful stuff that has meaning to you - but keep it light, and you don't need it if you're in a relationship - don't be dumb) Nothing wrong with drugs - avoid anything that's w…

While I don't agree with being toxic about making men pursue women, I understand why they ought to be the ones chasing - because women (and people in general) are just so preoccupied with everything in life that guys still have to be the ones organising and moving it forward.

(Men who say this usually develop major Nice Guy syndrome after getting rejected a few times) "Most men are pigs/perverts". (Oh and you're not?) "I am 28 and I would never even look at a woman who is more than 2 years younger than me, they're children to me" (we get it you like virtue-signaling) damn bro im cooked, i just got invalidated, guess redpill is the only way (skull) But in all seriousness, there's nothing inherently wrong with these, though I agree with not bragging about it. If asked,…

Yup. Common knowledge. Men do sex. Men make sex. Sex in its most basic form is a man fucking a woman. Most of the time anyway.

A-men. The worst part is that the men who tend to peddle the advice of "you don't need a woman to be happy" most likely have already been in relationships which qualify them to say that, and they're telling that to dudes who've never had GFs. Just obnoxious really

That's true, but I'm just contesting your claim he'll do better on dating apps. I'm not seeing any non-normies having success on dating apps anytime soon - many attribute their plight to their abundance.

Young men are litterallly the most physically desired men lmao. I dunno about you, but here in the UK it's almost a given that women my age (24) are doing it with men 5+ years older minimum, usually ten. Unless the guy is super-attractive everyone gets called a "baby" as high as 27 years old. I've seen it happen. It's crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 02:35 PM

Good looking non-normie man: Will do better on dating apps than IRL I severely doubt that, as very much a non-normie guy. I hate all the politics and game-playing involved in using dating apps (mainly when to message, not responding too quick, leaving her on read etc and other bullshit) and I'm sure many more do, whereas normies are A-OK with all that.

Damn, guess my only option for meeting women my age (24) is to spend £27,000 and get an extra £50k in student debt for the privilege.

And yet somehow no one is complaining about prostitution?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/21 02:36 PM

You have to apply a bit of context here. There's different forms of prostitution each with their own associated issues and culture. Most people who are against prostitution are only familiar with the streetwalker junkie stuff you see portrayed in movies. The sole act of exchanging money for sexual services with consenting adults shouldn't be illegal, but of course when it involves trafficking, if it's forced or the prostitutes are underaged etc then that's when it becomes a problem. But that's l…

No one should worry about them unless it becomes anything more than a "I'd bang her / him" thought. But ultimately it shouldn't matter as long as you and her are still intimate with each other. If she does cheat and withholds intimacy from you, she gets the boot.

Sexbots and the like are only good in the interim - they're not a long term solution, but they're fantastic to fall back on while looking for a relationship with a real girl.

There would be less orbiters if prostitution was legalised / decriminalised, absolutely. Having access to an easy method of getting laid would eliminate niceguys simping for poon.

I wouldn't necessarily support it but I couldn't give a single flying fuck what any of my family members decide to do, since if they really wanted to do that sort of thing then they would.

Stop obsessing and just do you, mate. And just remember that preferences are only preferences and not necessarily hard requirements - any woman who makes a big deal out of any physical trait is probably not one you want to be with.

Yes. Every time I open a dating app, I'd say about 90% of women's profiles have no bio with a good portion of those just linking to their Instagrams. You're not meant to take dating apps seriously - guys are falling into this trap and it's causing a lot of problems.

My friends are just as nerdy if not a lot more than I am, and I enjoy their company and they're very important to me. If I just wanted to "get laid", I'd visit a prostitute.

Does working out feel forced? Working on your public speaking? Studying for class? Improving at work? These don't involve talking to people. These are things that you do to build yourself. It being forced doesn't matter then. You know that if you do these things, you will eventually get the end result of those activities. Doesn't work the same way when socialising. You try and force conversation for the hell of it, and people are either gonna be irritated or know you have some ulterior motive. M…

Agree 100%. I was kind of being sarcastic about the getting laid part in my OP. Guess I should've made it more obvious!

For the record, I want to socialise. I want to go out and do all these things. But I can't do it alone. Everyone else will be in groups, or at least that's how it is where I live. And there really isn't much to do at bars and clubs other than just keep buying drinks and sitting alone, because that is what will happen most of the time unless something starts. I have a few buddies, but they're pretty nerdy and not really into nightlife. Unless I just go for the sole purpose of meeting people, I'm …

Doesn't it ever feel forced to you? I much prefer to sit back and let things occur organically. I'll talk if it feels normal, but anything else makes me feel like shit, even though I don't fear rejection.

I seriously recommend you do it sooner rather than later. It might be trivial in the long run, but you need that experience to feel comfortable for when it really matters.

One involves spending a lot of money, having to push a series of hypothetical buttons in a very specific order, knowing exactly what to say right there and then no matter what in the hopes that MAYBE, just MAYBE, you might just get laid with a 6/10 airhead but with a lot of caveats, and that's assuming there isn't any competition around (don't count on it) The other involves spending a lot of money and getting laid with a 9, with little to no caveats beyond contraception. I think I know which on…

the best thing about using hookers while you finish improving and coming into your own is it alleviates thirst, demystifies sex and allows you to treat women like they arent some prize Holy mother of fuck, this. I don't care what everyone else says - I am so fucking glad I got my virginity taken care of at 17 for this very reason. I'm 21 now and while I still haven't organically found love (no shame, more due to logistics and moving around in life than anything), at least I can have a relaxed at…
