Get them off the Disney crap that teaches them to hide who they really are(good and bad) for an undeserving man. How many times to girls in these "classic" Disney movies bend over backwards for a guy that is either shitty to her, or in general a shitty person. Be more open with how you and your wife feels about each other. It's good that you're in a loving marriage. If that ever changes, be more open to them about it. Kids feel that parents fighting is their fault. Resolve conflict in a way you'…

What they do is based on their worldview. I try to gauge how accurately they portray themselves in the things they focus or spend time on. Use more humor. Women are kind of boring sometimes. Someone who's not afraid to speak their mind and be challenging in conversations.

Not really. It's more of a collaborative screening. I try to present my best and most authentic self to others and vice versa. And when you find out more about their worldview and interests, and what motivates them to do what they do, that's when you know if you guys click or not and whether something more than physical attraction exist. My attraction for someone can decrease if they have no ambitions and goals in life.

But the fact he said significant other made me question his sexual orientation because it was not specific. Usually people divulge whether they have a gf/bf or wife/husband regardless if they are female or male.

Nobody would refer to their female friend as a girlfriend or girlfriend as a female friend. If they do, they have some explaining to do.

A manager 3 levels above me said significant other so in my head I was thinking "why didn't he say girlfriend or wife. Maybe he's gay?" But nope, he has a girlfriend. Maybe he was just trying to be more professional. It was technically his first civilian job after serving in the Navy.

Well you should because who knows how many hints you failed to recognize in your life. Intelligence is not just based IQ. There are other factors such as social and emotional intelligence. Just the mere recognition of hints can alter your thoughts and behavior accordingly.

Act like you’re teasing your bratty little sister. Except she’s not your sister and you’d eventually want to sleep with her. Be playful and crack jokes.

Don't be so straightforward in the conversations you have with girls you're interested in. When you ask them a question or they ask you a question, be playful with it. Joke around to make things interesting. A lot of guys are just too straightforward in their communication with girls. It's boring and doesn't spark their interests in you as a potential romantic interest/partner. You have to take some risks in regards to what you say. The problem with being too "nice" is that you're playing it saf…

You’re overthinking it too much. Just text her “Hey it’s me. This is the text you’ve been waiting for.” Or some shit like that. Wait for her reply, find out the next time she’s available and set a time a place.

If you do say it and she rejects it, just play if off like her rejection didn't matter to you. Sometimes after the initial rejection they'll accept it. Guys would apologize and say stuff like "just kidding" or whatever and it kills the whole vibe. Now she has in her head that you want to kiss her. If you find another opportunity, go for it.
