"I figured I'd be original and minimalistic on this post" Sometimes the simplest message is the hardest to say. Your post connected with me in a very powerful way, great post. Got me wondering (due to my own woman), can you turn a default woman into an ideal female by being an ideal man, or is it lost cause?

I used to believe things would get better after I got married, graduated, got promoted, had kids, had kids grow up and move out, got bigger house, got house paid off, bought new car. Then my wife left and I believed things would get better after I found another woman, got divorce finalized, rebuilt my finances. It's a vicious cycle because I was looking outside myself at some happy future for things to make me feel better about myself, when all along the answer was always inside me at that momen…

Good post. Sums up my approach as well, ever since I've started swallowing the red pill. I gotta say, that pill goes down slowly, and many times I wanted to spit it out. But slowly, I'm getting it, as the pill dissolves into me. Decide what you want to do, then figure out how you're going to do it, then STFU and do it.

"When you reach the point that you aren't getting anything out of something, stop wasting your time with it and find a new thing to learn from". Like this. Says it all. I've stayed too long in too many things that weren't working for me anymore, thinking somehow that endurance showed strong character or something. Nope, just my own procrastination in not moving on. Life's too short.

Great post. Inspires me to keep getting back into the ring. I got tossed out of a long marriage. Met a new woman, and let her in. Found love again. And if that ends, then I'll get back in the ring again and keep trying. I think it's all in how you frame the situation, either as a failure and loss, or as a stepping stone learning experience.

My ex-wife of many years recently broke up with me. She told everyone we knew that the break-up was all my fault. She even made up a story that I abused her, apparently by not devoting myself to her and not making her happy. She spun the abuse story to whoever would listen. At first I was defensive and said too much. Your father gave you awesome advice, and I wish I had gotten the same advice. Shut the fuck up and move on with life.

After my separation from my very long marriage, I went on several dating apps. I got lots of responses and thought, this is great and a lot easier than hooking up in person. But after some time on dating apps, it turned out to be a big waste of time. So much false advertising going on in profiles. Women who said they could dance, and loved to dance, turned out they meant about 20 or 30 years ago. Women who said they were active and liked to hike, turned out they meant years ago. Now, hiking is a…

Good advice. Get busy doing useful things in your life. Two years from now, you could spend that time as another idle passive consumer who binge watches Netflix and mindless TV sports, or you can choose to invest that time in yourself, developing new skills, enhancing existing skills. You'll be two years older, and have something to show for it. My girlfriend recently made some comment about me eventually being bored with her. I laughed but didn't say anything. The thought going through my mind …

I looked back at Whisper's Five Stages. Not only an understanding of every user's place in the process, also an understanding that TRP is a tool set was an great way to look at TRP. I had been wanting to find a way to frame TRP, huge help. Women aren't going to change into some idealized version I have of them. Their programming, or instincts, drive them to love opportunistically, to get the best deal they can, to lock down a man and eliminate his options, to spend his money, to always charge fo…

Fantastic post. The 80/20 alpha/beta balance makes huge sense to me. I used to be 20/80 (I'm guessing), but since reading and applying TRP and the wealth of material around, I'm shifting towards 80/20. I wonder if there's any way to gauge progress, or is it just gut feel?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
