1	Terminology Question: "Date" v. "Hang Out:" Rise of Just Us This is what I was thinking about yesterday too. I've always been a big fan of being really direct and conveying intent. According to this guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNDThayjkfM), calling it a date gives the girl a lot of pressure to behave a certain way and it's generally less fun. So that got me thinking - how can I demonstrate intent without calling it a date? My conclusion was basically that you express your intents through your actions on the date/hangout/whatever.
