Sure, TRP will always say they prefer a 20-something no matter what, because bio-truths. The point here is that they are bad at judging women's ages based on appearance. They repeatedly claim women hit the wall in their 20s and become universally physically unattractive (it wouldn't be called a wall otherwise). In reality, there are many very attractive and fit older women, some who look better than the average younger woman. Just a couple days ago a TRPer here said he would pick any chubby woman…

Women in the 18-22 range are happy to be with guys in their mid to late 20's. When I was 18 anyone over 21 seemed old to me. They could legally drink and get into bars and they had been in the adult world for all of the years I was in high school. There was a 29 year old at my college and I thought of him as practically old enough to be my father. He had wrinkles on his forehead and a receding hair line. I couldn't tell you if he was skinny or ripped or chubby, he was sexually invisible to me.

Well you are posting on a sub that specifically caters to thirsty women. There are age 50+ women on gonewild who I am sure attract a large number of horny young men with MILF/GILF fetishes, judging by comments I've seen on those posts. I don't think any of that reflects on the dating habits of society at large.

Go to any beach and you can really see men sag quite a bit. Men carry fat disproportionately in their bellies which causes a lot of sag and all these guys building up their bodies in their 20s are also going to get that sag when their muscles start to atrophy. Look at iggy pop when he was 60 and look at Madonna who is 60 now. Madonna's body is a lot firmer and tighter, and Iggy was never fat when he was young, just muscular.

It isn't true. If you don't eat a lot and don't exercise as a female you get skinny fat with a flat ass which is not the ideal. You have to eat the right foods and do cardio plus some resistance if you want to have a barbie body. And hope that you were born with the right genes for a small waist and big boobs which is pretty rare.

I think age had much less to do with Moore's career decline than a series of flops and weak performances. Plus she took time out to raise her kids on a farm somewhere in the midwest? I have to agree with drunkgirl, the men you list are known more for getting male asses into theater seats than their sex-symbol status.

It isn't. Sandra Bullock was cast as the lead in Gravity, for example. Angelina Jolie pulls in huge audiences in roles like Malifecent and Salt. Hollywood will cast older known actors and actresses in big budget movies rather than taking a risk on someone without name recognition or a history of solid performances. You aren't noticing it as much for women because there are fewer of those types of big-budget lead roles for females. A lot of money was spent to make Jennifer Lawrence a household na…

Magic Mike was Channing Tatum's pet project, that's why he cast himself. He was a stripper when he was in his 20s and that's the age he is portrayed as in the film. He's talked about how difficult it is for him to get back into his stripper shape now and how he only looks that good for a few weeks while shooting. Presumably, he looked that good all the time when he was stripping for a living in his younger years.

You need to read up on Hollywood accounting. In reality, that movie raked in huge amounts of money, which is why the studio greenlighted sequels.

Charlize Theron is not getting better roles than younger/hotter models. Now that's just stupid talk. Imperator Furiosa was one of the best female roles of the year.

Why are female models always so young? I think Kate Moss is still one of the highest earning models? Most of the famous models move on to greener pastures because you can make more money using your name to sell products to the masses than doing photo shoots or runway. Elle Macphereson, Cindy Crawford, Kathy Ireland and Giselle Bundchen all made fortunes that way. It's not a well paying job for the average model which is why the lesser known models move on once they get an education or find a bet…

I think you can still look good 'for your age'. Most younger women will prefer men their age and rich women looking for toyboys all seem to go for men in their 20s. You will be better off than men your age who don't work out, but good looking younger men will have the highest SMV.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 10:37 PM
1

Younger men put on lean muscle much faster and keep it on with less work. It is also easier for them to lose body fat. If you are talking about really bulky body builders, maybe 30s is better, but women do not find that body type to be ideal.

Jude Law back in his Talented Mr. Ripley days would be hard to get over. He's a little long in the tooth and has a lot of mileage. I can't imagine anyone getting too hung up on him at this point. Also, he dumped a 20-something to be with the 44 year old single mom female. Doesn't that kind of go against red pill theory? I don't really think there is any programming like that. Men will look at wast to hip ratios to instinctively judge fertility and decipher the person is a post-pubescent female. People can get signs of aging very young depending on genetics plus stress and environmental causes. Older women don't actually seem to have problems finding sex partners in the real world. Probably because humans are not only having sex for procreation, but in fact mostly having sex for recreation. Therefore, fertility …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/15 01:57 AM

Actually, aging does predict male fertility. Both the volume and motility of sperm decline with age. Plus quality of sperm deteriorates and aging sperm is linked to learning disorders, low IQ, cancers and mental illness in offspring. Also, the chance of dying before a child graduates high school starts to skyrocket in men over 40. That's not exactly an ideal scenario. Men are really not in any better position over all if SMV is tied to fertility. Capitalism might have distorted matters by allowi…

It's kind of funny that they are obsessed with female fertility and youth because: evolution, but then their favorite sex acts are completely non-reproductive, like anal and blow jobs. You can't have it both ways. I don't know that feminists oppose legalizing prostitution. It seems to me like many support more legal rights and safety for sex workers. On the other hand, most women do view prostitution as an undesirable profession and would not want to be forced into it before being able to get unemployment benefits or whatever. I see a lot of men state that prostitution is no different that cleaning toilets or working in fast food or other unpleasant service jobs, but letting ugly or old men have sex with …

At the same time, you tend to often accumulate wealth, power, social status as well as the all important confidence, attitude and ability to NGAF about what others think, so it works out. Not all men will accumulate wealth, power or social status. In terms of sexual attraction, none of those things mean as much to me as a handsome young face, tight body and youthful energy. I bet all of the rich old geezers would trade away their wealth to be young again.

Curie had a torrid affair with a hot younger student. How would she have met him if she was stuck at home raising babies and doing washing all day? High SMV men don't go all out for ordinary women. They'll put more effort in and be more excited by ladies with ambition and success. Celebrity sex tapes are always way more popular than hot porn star tapes. Guys want the popular women and girls gain popularity by taking risks, pursuing ambitions.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/15 05:09 PM

I'm pretty sure Curie and Earhart both had fairly successful love lives. I often see redpill claim men don't care about women's accomplishments, only looks, but that has not been my experience. I spent some time around Courtney Love and she had male groupies. When I got to work with pianist Olga Kern, lots of men I know were asking about her relationship status. I could give many other examples, but my point is I think you do have some confirmation bias there.

Her career took off at the height of the baby-doll-faced trend and she really does look, still in her 30s, like a barely legal teenager. I also think it's funny that a redpiller here said she doesn't look porn-y. Terry Richardson put her in a schoolgirl uniform and played up her underage looks. She has done a lot of risque work that borders on porn.

Well, I googled the girl from your realgirls album, "Erin from FTVGirls" and she is not in Miranda Kerr's league, face or bodywise. She looks like an average midwestern girl with a cute face and knows how to pose to get the most from her curves in selfies but she would never have a real modeling career, even in catalog lingerie. There are tens of thousands of girls that look like her. Really cute but not gorgeous or stunning.

Both the articles you've linked to are just personal stories. You mentioned in your OP that BP'ers thinking the wall is a stupid concept are 'negating older women's reality' and that "hitting the wall is a real, usually devastating experience for any woman who has spent her life being attractive to men and receiving spontaneous male attention." That sounds personal. The authors you cited certainly didn't say anything like that, so I could only assume you were speaking from experience. Valenti do…

I've read Japan is the only Asian country where parents wish for their babies to be girls instead of boys. That is because boys are spoiled more and the culture is more permissive toward boys. New parents believe girls will be less demanding and easier to care for, and won't grow to be addicted to video games or whatever.

Your reality is not everyone's reality. I just don't know any woman past 40 complaining of a lack of male attention. The least attractive single woman I know in her 50s still has 2 male suitors, one quite wealthy, but a drunk. Let's be real. Men love variety even more than youth. "Mature" is the third most popular porn search term for men, so someone is lusting after the older ladies.

So is this truly a serendipitous outlook for AFCs, or is there a catch? I'm tempted to say something about AF/BB, but perhaps people with observations can share. In my experience, older men are BB. For one thing, they don't have the sex drive to be AF any more. Very few keep their looks past 40. The best ones are married by then. If they are divorced they are often bitter about it, whether it was their fault or not. If they were never married, there is probably something wrong with them. That le…

women are more responsive to other things like status, wealth, personality, mannerism, body language etc. None of those things are sexually exciting to me, unless they also go along with good looks. In case you haven't noticed, boy band members and "it" guy movie stars are young and attractive.

then they notice beautiful women more than anyone, possibly because they see them as a threat to their current relationship. I wouldn't make that assumption. I usually look at other attractive women to see what they are wearing, as well as hair style and makeup. My grandma used to watch soap operas with the sound off for this reason. In scientific studies it doesn't work out that way very often. What they find is that hot people know they are hot and date other hot people. Women rarely date down in looks, even for money. It's just that a lot of good looking men also happen to be successful. It makes sense since tall men earn more money over their lifetimes and good looking people have a lifelong advantage in grades, hiring, promotion, networking and so on.

Are we looking at the same data? Let's just look at 30-39. I don't think women get the same health benefits, life extension or increase in income that married men do. These days a woman is more likely to be taking on a man's debt by combining finances than she is to be gaining assets. Also, studies show that most young men now expect their wives to work to help pay the bills and to be able to support him when he is between jobs. The financial incentive isn't there anymore, women can support themselves now. The main incentive these days is love and/or fo…

Same thing when those twilight movies were popular and young males were starting campaigns against sexy vampires and werewolves and complaining about how gay Edward was. The female is seeking a youthful, attractive mate at peak health and virility. This happens to coincide with the peak testosterone levels in males, associated with higher aggression and risk-taking, along with poorer judgement due to a still developing prefrontal cortex before age 25. You don't see young females chasing after old guys who act aggressive or thuggish. The "badboy" behavior is somewhat associated with youth and virility in males, but the "badboy" behavior itself is not what makes t…

18-25 year old people are self-absorbed and don't necessarily have the life experience to correctly assess someone's personality. At this age your life is more about having fun and dating physically attractive young guys. You want them to be nice and caring, but not clingy and desperate. I think some RP males don't understand the difference.

10 years seems to be the largest gap most people will accept in relationships when they are young. Most people like to socialize within their age group and beyond that you are in different stages of life so it can be too awkward. For a hookup, who cares as long as they are legal and consenting, and using birth control if the guy's sperm is past its expiration date.

Except, oops The general cultural image of men as being tougher and more resilient than women is misleading. Typical male dermis is about 20 percent thicker than female dermis, but thicker is not necessarily tougher. A thicker dermis means that men have fewer and less pronounced superficial wrinkles compared to women, Dr. Camacho noted. But men also have more robust skeletal musculature. That larger muscle mass translates into deeper expression lines compared to women. Dermatologists must consid…

As far as I can tell, redpillers are complete outliers in the modern world. In the 1930s male respondents were seeking a dependable, kind lady who had skills in the kitchen. Chastity was more important than intelligence. Now, guys look for love, brains and beauty -- and a sizable salary certainly sweetens the deal. I think Japan is still very patriarchal. One cause of the low birth rate is that women are expected to put their careers on hold and become housewives and SAHM as soon as they get married. women are less interested in young bodies than males This will be news to most women. Men get hotter for girls based on youth, youth, youth, intelligence, nice personality, youth, youth, big tits and youth. Sandra Bullock is 20 years older than Lena Dunham and has smaller tits, too. It seems like men are hotter for beauty and for thin or fit bodies than for youth, youth, youth.

However, men are attracted to women's fertility, which more or less lines up with women's physical attractiveness My mother had a hysterectomy in her 20s and no one would have been able to guess by looking at her. It's really impossible to tell by looking at a woman whether or not she is fertile, unless she is obviously geriatric. Men are by and large attracted to secondary sexual characteristics, which are indirectly correlated with fertility. Women will sleep with powerful men for personal gai…

Men are capable of impregnating women, but not really fit to have them past a certain point. Men are past their healthiest reproductive years beyond 35. Half of all men are facing impotence in their 40s which would make them unfit for having children until very recent history.

Scientists have controlled for all of the things you mentioned and the difference still existed. They looked at women and men in the same jobs, with the same stress levels, men and women with similar lifestyles and found, as even with the monk/nun populations, females still always have the longevity advantage. You can read some studies on free radicals in relation to aging. Mitochondrial damage caused by free radicals is thought to be one of the primary causes of aging. Females appear to repair …

Beta bucks doesn't just mean growing old and being used for your money. I can be used for my money by beautiful girls, but if I use them right back for sex and good times, it's pretty much a win/win situation. Rich women can do the same thing with young good looking males, but you still say they have hit the wall.

This data shows that the 18-24 year old women RP is after largely have their upper age limits set at under 30. Not very promising for you guys. All of the studies I've seen show men and women value looks about the same. It is more important for short term dating, and both place a bit less emphasis on looks in long term relationships. There is also this recent study which found HB8+ females go for HB8+ males and hot women are not trading their looks for money to any significant degree.

women are attracted to more than pure looks. They're attracted to looks, frame, confidence, leadership skills, sociability, all indicators of social proof really. Prior to their speed-dates, the students rated how important different characteristics would be in making their selections, and the expected gender differences emerged…

Males decrease in attractiveness over a longer period of time, and can still be propped up by financial/social success. Most women just seem to suddenly nosedive in attractiveness, hence calling it "the wall." I think it's strange that you guys think this way. Females of most species live longer than the males and the leading theories in biology say that this is due to superior cellular repair mechanisms. The biggest issue I've had with catfishing on dating sites has been men lying about their age. A lot of men in their 30s and 40s claim to be in their 20s to get around my age limit. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Men age at the same rate, and tend to age worse than woman because they are not as consistent with sunscreen and skin care. Wait until you hit your 20s and a lot of the guys your age are losing their hair. A few lines around your eyes is nothing compared to that.

It seems no matter how many times you guys get told this, no matter how many studies that indicate it, no matter what the statistics show, you refuse to accept it. It's not necessary for men to lift weights to get a nice physique. For example, I go to a rock climbing gym and the young men there have good bodies just from climbing a few hours a week. Some of them are 18, 19, 20 and only started in the last year. Also, I wasn't saying I prefer veiny forearms or really broad shoulders. Men put on muscle in these places much more easily than women do, and the normal muscle definition is aesthetically pleasing to women.

A product of years of hard lifting. Not really. Being young and active with a healthy diet is enough for most men to obtain good muscle tone. A lot of swimmers, runners, rock climbers and so on have desirable physiques without lifting weights.

I don't agree at all with that. For example, men are far more likely to lose their hair, which is one of the most obvious signs of aging, along with going grey. Less than 1% of men each year see a prostitute. It's like claiming she can't avoid sleeping with someone who has an STI. It's really not that hard to find a partner who doesn't use hookers. And to find one who has never purchased sex? That's 86% of men. I think she's going to be alright.

The guy who makes your pizza isn't in danger of becoming pregnant or catching HIV from his work. Pizza cooks don't face high levels of violence and theft like prostitutes do. Pizza workers are not disease vectors like prostitutes are. Only if you marry someone who doesn't earn an income or contribute any household labor. In most married households, both couples work and share living expenses. Average age for menopause is 54 or 55. The reason for menopause is thought to be that giving women a break from pregnancy and childbirth insures they will live much longer and be around to help raise grandchildren, which allows for better survival of the tribe.
