Whats the revenge? I had way more success in my 30s than my 20s ut its just a fact. Im not making it up to get my revenge on women.

its far worse for women because looks are much more important in attraction for men than women.

The wall exists for everyone because everyone loses their looks as they get older. But you're wrong, its far worse for women because looks are much more important in attraction for men than women.

Its not as rare as youd think. 20% of relationships in the US have a 5+ year age gap and 10% have a 10+ year gap.

No one ages well, but looks are more important to men than women. Thats it. Thats all it is. Men just go for the most attractive women so that will trend towards younger women. All of this stuff about power dynamics, predatory men & is massively overthinking it.

Drug addiction, abuse, coercion, sex trafficking, etc. Generally people dont become hookers out of choice. Its desperation.

Yes. I want a study that shows women will choose a happy, short, loser over a less happy, tall success. And one that shows that marriage overwhelmingly benefits women.

And you will now of course be able to support that veiwpoint with factual evidence.

The researchers further compared each person’s cortisol rhythm. It was observed that cortisol level is the highest when an individual wakes up and declines during the day. Married individuals showed a faster decline. How do you explain that?

A group could be called a family. Blood is thicker than water and all that.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. You're 'small isolated group' are the people you can be truly close to and who will take care of you in hard times. That's why they make people happy. Like I said, we're not meant to be alone, we're meant to be in families.

Not all of us. And no one is looking at potential partners and consciously thinking about whether they're able to have kids. It might be happening on a unconscious level, but again that goes back to looks. Beauty relates to health and health relates to fertility.

All it is is that people lose their looks as they get older & looks are more important to men, so as they get older men tend to go for younger women. Thats it, thats all it is. Given the choice most men would choose 40 y.o Gal Gadot over 20 y.o Bella Ramsay. But most men would also choose 20 y.o Gal Gadot over 40 y.o Gal Gadot.

I think people who are getting overly concerned about other people's relationships are saying far more about themselves than anything else. I was 18 years older than my ex and it was the best relationship I've ever had. Age isn't just a number but its not everything.

Men dont really go for younger women. Men only go for younger women because they cant get women their own age. Men only go for younger women so they can control them more easily. Men only go for younger women because they're immature and cant handle being an adult. This is all just a revenge fantasy. Its a progression of the cope.

You have no kids and you look a lot better than most women your age. And you're not fat which immediatly makes you a minority in the US. Also you're paying for tinder gold, which is like being the only woman in a club with 100 guys.

What's 'value' though? Confidence in of itself is valuable. People like confident, outgoing people.

Im 42 and I've never been out with a woman over 30. I dont think Im coping. Im aware Im declining now but the point when I was having the most success with women was in my mid-30s. Confidence goes a loooooooong way with women and for men your confidence & looks reach equilibrium in your 30s.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 04:21 AM

Same way I hold conversations with anyone else. If you get along you get along. Its a weird question to ask, do you think people cant talk to each other if they're not the same age?

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:09 PM

Then why would women come up with ideas like 'High Value Women' and 'Men are attracted to confident women'? I think women do understand that looks are important for men in attraction, but I think they still underestimate how important they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 01:07 PM

Some men will fuck anything that moves, not date anything that moves.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 08:30 AM

Not the guys they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 07:15 AM

The amount of unhappilly single far women, or middle aged women confused why they're not getting any attention anymore makes me think they're still underestimating. Or they just think mascara can overcome obesity.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:01 AM

I agree with the first two but not the 2nd. Women massively underestimate how important looks are to men, men massively overestimate how imporant they are to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:51 AM
5

Am I reading this right? You have $40 million and can't get a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 11:27 AM

Its not that men dont age or lose their looks as they age, its just that men value looks more than women so aging is a bigger issue for women. Its a myth that men go for younger women, men go for the most attractive women, but since we all peak in our 20s and then go downhill thats usually going to be a younger woman.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_disparity_in_sexual_relationships In nearly 20% of relationships in the US the mean is 5+ years older than the woman and in over 7% the man is 10+ years older. Conversly in about 8% of relationships the woman is 5+ years older and in less than 2% the woman is 10+ years older.

The guys who can, will. The guys who can't will settle or be alone. But that's what men want just like women like tall, confident, successful men, and the ones who can get a guy like that will and the ones who can't will settle or be alone. I'm just saying there's no point in being unrealistic or dishonest about it. Men and women both have standards, they're allowed standards and being 'fair' has nothing to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 10:12 PM

It always amazes me when women try to tell men who men are attracted to. Put it like this: 20 something men go for 20 something women. 30 something men go for 20 something women. 40 something men go for 20 something and 30 something women. 50 something men go for 30 something and 40 something women. And so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 10:05 PM

Age is a factor for men. Which isnt strictly true, looks are a factor for men, much more than women, but looks overlap with age so there's a trend for men to go for younger women.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 06:15 PM

What have statistics got to do with anything? Youre just strawmanning again. Its about people having standards and being allowed to have them. Simple question: Are people allowed to have standards in dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 05:28 PM
1

Says who? Why are you allowed to make that judgement? You're trying to find excuses for being a hypocrite. They're both standards that men and women have in dating and if men are allowed standards so are women and vis versa.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 05:10 PM
2

All of that is a strawman, I didnt say any of that stuff. My point is that height is a factor in attraction for women and age is a factor in attraction for men. And frankly ranting on the internet about it isnt going to change anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 04:51 PM
11

So height is a factor for men. So is age for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 04:06 PM

Do you think short men should be penalised for being short? Whether its right or wrong its going to happen and you cant control it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 11:15 AM

The single biggest causal factor is female education. Education = career = wealth & wealthy people don't want to spend their money on kids they don't need. Plus they often have time for them. Less education = less money = economic uncertainty = people having kids for free labor & to take care of them when they're old.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 12:26 PM

I think some people, on some level dont really want relationships so they unconsciously give themselves impossibly high standards to prevent them ever having one.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:11 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 03:57 AM

But what does age have to do with that? If your argumemt is that a 25 y.o woman is at her peak so she has the right to choose then I agree with you, but why would the older guy be judged at a different metric than the younger guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 05:18 AM

You dont have to be extroverted, you just have to be able to hold a conversation with another person. How are you going meet someone from tinder for a date in a bar if you cant talk to someone in a bar in the first place? And dating apps are two thirds men, if you're not good looking enough to pick up women in bars you're definitely not good looking enough for online dating.

I do know fat guys who somewhat good looking girlfriends, so maybe not completely, but they're never going to get to get the hottest girls and there are never going to be enough slim women who are willing to go out with fat guys to match all the fat guys who want slim women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 12:29 AM

People lie to themselves, and they lie to each other. No matter how many times men can say that they're not attracted to fat women there'll be someone who'll come along and with "Achtshullllllly......" I wouldnt say every time I've rejected a woman its because they're fat, but I would 90% of the time its because they're fat. Not every woman I've knocked back has been fat but I've knocked every fat woman back.

True, but I think its that looks are important to men but they aren't everything. We still want someone who's somewhere in the same headspace as us. 20 y.o old women might look good to 50 y.o men, but they'll probably have nothing in common with them so they'll go for the 35 y.o women instead.

I think he's a man and he's going to go for the most attractive woman he can get who's also somewhat in the same place in her life as him. And because he's Chris Evans and he can pretty much get any woman he wants that means he's gone for a super hot 25 year old.

Its not a wall thing, its just that people lose their looks as they get older and looks are more important for men than they are for women. Its not a revenge fantasy. Do you think Chris Evans is somehow getting revenge on women who've rejected him by marrying a women who's 25?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 03:06 PM
4

Because looks are more important for men than women. 20 y.o women rarely go for 40 y.o men, but 25 y.o women will go for 35 y.o men, and 30 y.o women will go for 40 y.o men.

I know plenty of women in their late 30s and 40s who regret not settling down with a guy when they had the chance. Everyone loses their looks as they get older but looks are more important to men than women so there's going to be a trend of men going for younger women. Its as simple as that.

When women do exactly the same thing they don't seem to see the irony at all. Age gap relationships are more common than you think. Around 8% of heterosexual relationships in Western countries have an age gap of 10+ years. https://relationshipsadvice.co/age-gap-relationship-statistics/ In almost 20% of married couples in the US the husband is 6+ years older than their wife. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_disparity_in_sexual_relationships If you add up all of the datasets it comes to a difference of about 6%.

But those women are not the only ones who end up alone. its not delusional if youre perfectly willing to be alone rather than accept a man that doesnt conform to your standards. Some women just have unrealistic standards

The women I know who Im talking about are not the bottom of barrel
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:12 PM

Yes it is. Be realistic means 'be realistic', not accept anything. Most guys are not homeless 50 y.o store clerks with no ambition. But if those are the only guys who want you then you're probably not much of a catch yourself, hence 'be realistic'
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:07 PM

The most logical explanation, unless you want to believe that one third of men age 18-29 are in polyamorous relationships. They could also be dating older men, as well. That's what it is. There's a massive discrepancy in the numbers of self reported single men and single women under 25, but when all age ranges are combined it goes down to about 5% difference, and there could be a lot of explanations for that.

...which means looks aren't everything. Loads of ugly guys get women. It would be easier if they weren't ugly but they still get them.

Men are much more realistic about what women are attracted to. I've never seen a short guy say that women's attraction to tall men is because of society's beauty standards or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/23 08:05 AM
1

Yes they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/23 08:02 AM
1

That's exactly what it is. It defines what women are attracted to and what they are not. Women are attracted to a number of attributes and the more of those attributes a man has the more attractive he is to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 09:07 PM
0

Yes it is. Why would a girl who just needs to go to a bar to be hit on by men need dating apps?
/r/AllPillDebate28/01/23 08:45 PM
1

The women I know who don't use tinder see it as hook up app and they're not looking for hook ups. Most of the girls I know who do use tinder don't have a choice because they're the girls guys don't want.
/r/AllPillDebate28/01/23 08:44 PM
1

That's my point. Broadly speaking every woman wants the same type of guy. Every woman finds the same thing attractive. Some women might like blonde hair, some might like brown hair, some might not like lean guys and some might like bears, but the basics are the same. The 'positive attributes' are the same for nearly all women. The exact same thing is true of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 08:35 PM
-3

The difference is that men make up the vast majority of tinder users and have much lower standards for casual hook ups

/r/AllPillDebate28/01/23 01:28 PM

True but, in my experience anyway, there are a lot of fat ugly women are still convinced they can get the higher tier men, and will blame anyone but themselves when they cannot ("You just can't handle my confidence!", etc.). if everyone was realistic and what they opposite sex is attracted to and how attractive they are there wouldn't be any involuntary incels or involuntary single people.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 12:37 PM

Tall At least ressonable looking Intelligent Confident Physically fit Successful Women might have preferences on some things and might care about some of the above more than others, but no woman is going for the short, dumb, slob loser who can't maintain eye contact.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 08:20 AM

If you think every man who talks to you wants to have sex with you you're either incredibly attractive or incredibly deluded.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 08:14 AM
7

No. It might be in the minus column but it won't be a deal breaker. If a woman is 6'5 and looks like Gal Gadot she'll still be considered beautiful by most men. If a guy looks like Chris Pine but is 5'5 most women will not be interested.
/r/AllPillDebate27/01/23 11:23 PM
0

There aren't, but every woman wants the same kind of guy and they will invent reasons why they deserve that guy, and if that guy doesn't want them some women will decide that its everyone's fault but their own. Its the flip side of the incel mentality. Just as much as their are a lot of guys who think they are entitled to girls without putting in any effort themselves a lot of women think they are entitled to the best men without putting in the effort to be the kind of women those guys want.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 11:11 PM
2

That's kind of what I mean, men need to find a way to talk to women without hitting on them, before they start hitting on them. Being overt usually doesn't work. You have to kind of build trust & rapport first.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 08:57 PM

You just have to do it subtley without coming across as weird or obvious. Ask her & her friends to join you & your friends.

/r/AllPillDebate26/01/23 04:13 AM

Its (partly) a numbers game, guys who hit on women are bound to get a result sooner or later, but you're automatically associating hitting on women with being creepy or disrespectful, which it doesn't have to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:45 PM

If 'bending over and doing what society tells them' means 'leaving their basements and learning to talk to women without making an arse out of themselves' then yes. Thats what everyone else has to do.

They think the world should change to suit them. They think women should just force themselves to be attracted to unnatractive anti-social men like fat women think men should be forced to be attracted to fat women.

/r/AllPillDebate25/01/23 05:10 PM

I have come to the conclusion through browsing these incely subreddits and from people I know irl that fat women and incels have the same mentality: They both refuse to acknowledge that they are responsible for their own problems, they expect the world to change for them instead of solving their own problems, and when the world doesn't change to suit them they become angry and bitter.

Are we having some sort of misunderstanding? I live in China. I've lived in a bunch of developing countries. Anywhere outside of the western world the wife takes care of the home, and possibly has a job on the side, and the man is the breadwinner.

I guarantee you it is not. I've lived a bunch of countries all around the world. The 'ideal' is not the reality is that a women will work until she gets married and has kids and then she'll stay at home and take care of them.

/r/AllPillDebate24/01/23 09:37 PM

See this is the whole problem with you guys; Its like I'm talking to children, you have no life experience at all. You shouldn't have to explain to adults that booze + sex = fun. I figured that out by the time I was 15.

I know guys who do fine with women even though they're not physically attractive purely because they're outgoing and have social intelligence, and I also know guys who are tall, ripped and good looking who are disasters with women. Looks matter, but how much they matter is magnified by the context they're in. On dating apps they're everything, if you're in dark club at 2am and the girl has a couple of drinks in her and you're saying the right things you can get away with a lot more.

No one deserves anything, you can't dictate who people should be attracted to. But how about short guys & ugly women? Short is basically the same thing as ugly to women after all.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 12:18 PM

You could say exactly the same thing about men and fat women. The solution is obviously for short men and fat women to stop being so shallow and go out with each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 12:04 PM

I think its scarcity mindset. They can't get women so they become obsessed with them and it warps their whole ideas about what dating and relationships actually are.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 10:07 AM

Most women out or in OLD think they're better looking than they are Tbh I don't disagree with that, but what I'm saying is that more options for women would force them to be realistic. If OLD have more women the top guys would have more and the less attractive women wouldn't have access to the top guys, if you see what I mean. Women can only choose from the guys who want them, not from all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/23 02:35 PM

I don't think it would to the same extent. I'm just being hypothetical but if all your options are in one place and there as as many men as women it goes back to the old fashioned dating game. Men meeting women in clubs and bars and that's a much more 'egalitarian' way of matching with people. I get that there a lot of women are in denial of how attractive they actually are but that's because they're in a small pool of women on dating apps, which for a lot of them is probably why they're on dati…

Online dating only favours women because men use it far more than women. Tinder in the US is at least 75% men, if it was more equal men wouldn't have such a big problem finding partners. But the 'intervention' is for men who don't have any success online to stop using apps and meet women through normaln socialisation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/23 08:38 PM

I matched with a girl on tinder & we agreed to hook up. We met & took a walk got along great and went to a bar. I figured we'd get a drink & I'd make a move ("Hey let's go back to to my place...to look at this....thing...I have at...my place...."). Randomly she runs into some of her friends, starts talking to them and instantly ditches me and refuses to talk to me for the rest of the night. I literally just put on my jacket and left after an hour of being ignored.

Mostly but not necessarily. Men and women are attracted to different things, men are mainly go for looks, women go for looks, status, personality, height, etc. Men and women are roughly matched in their appeal to the opposite sex. An average/ggugly guy is not going to attract a supermodel, but an ugly billionaire will.

Ugly is creepy. I've been fat and ugly & ripped & not ugly, and women treated me completely differently when I when I wasn't fat & ugly even though I wasn't doing anything differently. And I've noticed I do the same thing myself, when an attractive girl checks me out its nice, it feels flattering. But when a fat girl checks me out my instant reaction is to feel grossed out.

Most men dont prefer women their own age unless their own age is under 30. I agree with you about everything else, but like I said elsewhere it might be that when the whole idea of having a relationship with a woman seems like a fantasty there's a tendency to imagine that woman in that relationship to be the perfect fantasty woman as well.
/r/AllPillDebate13/01/23 12:46 PM

Maybe because their primary source of 'interaction' with women comes from porn & other media so thats how they expect all women to be. But, lets be honest, when you say 'vanilla' you really mean ideal or perfect, because most of those things are what most men want. It might be that because they see any sort of relationship with a woman as a fantasy they're just adding the perfect fantasy woman into the mix.

Okay so I'm an expat in China. For a foreign guy here the choice here is western expat women who are usually overweight, ultra hot European/Russian girls who won't even look at you unless you're a millionaire, or Chinese girls. So most foreign guys end up with Chinese girls. Anytime I've talked to foreign women about this they're completely convinced that all the guys must have yellow, the idea that men don't like fat women is just something they're completely, possibly willfully, oblivious to.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 05:56 PM

Like I said; every man I know who started a relationship past his mid 30s is with a younger woman. The stats show that men both find younger women the most attractive and are likely to marry a younger women. All of this is fine just like its fine for women to prefer tall good looking guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 10:52 AM

Women push for divorce more often but men cheat more often. Im happy that you've found someone who trust, Im just saying women should accept that men havr standards & preferences as well & they are just as valid as their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 10:39 AM
1

I didn't say women preferred older men, or at least significantly older men. I think some do but most prefer men around their own age. And men stay in relationships because of love & loyalty, but it might be that a lot of relationships don't work out because the woman loses her looks & the guy starts looking elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 10:28 AM
1

Because most people marry young-ish with someone their own age and even though older guys want younger they're not all able to get them. But I showed you the stats: when older men remarry its most often with a significantly younger partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 10:17 AM

By that standard I guess I don't have any unsuccessful relationships. The thing is, when people get divorced or end l9ng term relationships its always going to get messy and end in bad feelings, and the older people get the more likely they are to have had unsuccsessful relationships just because they'll have had more relationships. But the evidence is there, I've shown you it. You're just dismissing it Here's another study you should read: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.psychologytoday.com/us…

Its the same for me, but not the guys who got into relationships after they were about 35+, in those case the guy is always at least 5 years older, and usually closer to 10. Looks aren't everything to men, but they are nearly everything, and everyone peaks in their 20s. So a 35 year old guy is going to go for 25 year old girls, but a 50 year old guy probably thinks 25 year old girls are hot but he'll realise he probably won't be able to get one & if he does he'll have nothing in common with her …

I dont know tbh, but thats not whats happened in my life. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2014/12/08/study-men-who-remarry-really-do-prefer-younger-women/ This study says that older men who remarry tend to go for younger women.

You might think that & it might be true to a certain extent but the evidence is men go for younger women, not women who act young.

Its a lot more common than you'd think. Every single guy I know who got married or got a long term girlfriend over the age of about 35 is with a girl who is someone signifucantly younger. But you're right that not every man will be able to get the kind of woman he wants, bur its still a reality that that is what men want.

You realise you've just said people found your mother attractive because she stayed youthful looking?

Under 20 is probably too young. I think all of us, men & women are the most attractive we'll ever be when we're in our 20s, no one gets better looking as they get older. its just the physical attractiveness is much more important to men than it is to women. Men go for the best looking usually means women in a certain age range.

I disagree. I think Brad Pitt still looks great: https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/a32004836/quentin-tarantino-once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-brad-pitt-shirtless-scene/ Tom Cruise, I don't know, but he can still make movies where he plays a romantic lead, and people still pay to watch those movies, so that must tell you something. I didn't say they looked young btw, I said they still look good. They look like their in the 50s, but they're still considered leads.

But average woman isn't a Hollywood film star either. And yes, men do lose their looks as well but men can still be considered attractive romantic leads by audiences and women cannot. People like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are just about still in their even though they're pushing 60, what woman can you say the same about?

Most women start wanting younger men around age 40 I disagree with that. I've never seen much evidence of it. Look at most male Hollywood film stars who are still considered extremely attractive by women until their 40s or 50s. You can't say the same is true for women film stars.

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/22 05:31 PM

Yes, but most dudes in the their 30 and 40s aren't interested in women in their 30s and 40s, but women are still interested in men the same age as them at those ages. Whatever causes people to go for younger partners it happens much sooner and its much more common in men.

Its not even wealthy men though. Its all, or nearly all, men who go for younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/22 05:02 PM

I think historically that's always been the case, there have always been rich aristocratic women with younger male lovers, but its just waaaaay more common for men to do that.

You wouldn't be saying that if you were a man in a relationship with significantly younger woman. Beleive me, I've had the 'this isn't going to work out', 'you're using her', 'she's just using you', 'You just can't handle real women'* 'You just can't get a woman your own age' schpeil from the overformentioned lonely bitter middle aged women quite a few times.

Tell it to my girlfriend. Every guy I know who got into a relationship over the age of about 35 is with a woman significantly younger than them. Older guys almost always go for younger women. If you don't think that's true explain why so many actors, musicians, millionaires, billionaires, basically the guys who have options, always go for younger women.

Its hard not to think single middle aged women are lonely and bitter when they keep raging at men their age who choose to go out with younger women.

I know four guys who are stereotypical chads (tall, good looking, jacked) Two are in LTRs, one of whom is a ridiculous overgrown manchild (I play warhammer 40k with him) One is really friendl humble & a bit shy. One is a typical omnisexual who's over 40 but still fucking every women he meets and living without any cares at all.

Thats exactly right. Its not about hacing standards, its about having realistic standards and being realistic about what the opposite sex finds attractive.

But it does signify that people are changing, and famine hasn't been a problem in parts of the world for hundreds of years but people have still been getting taller.

Who's to say we aren't? Were you around in the 15th century? We know that people are getting taller with every generation so that must tell you things are changing.

I would guess that most women don't want the kind of men who fuck donkeys.
