I have never heard of such a thing. I don't think there's a correlation between the two.. I could be wrong though

Quit while you're ahead if this is something you're not sure about. If you're not comfortable with people knowing what you do, this isn't a good career for you. I used to be acquaintances with a woman who had a popular OnlyFans and it's a lot of work. In order to make a career out of it you have dedicate a lot of time to it and constantly reply to men and make them feel like you care about them. You also have to be okay with the chance that your parents could find out about it. Someone can easil…

Yeah I just miss people. It's not normal to be inside this often, but I'm managing.

Yeah, I'm near a city. The entertainment was nice before, but almost everything indoors is closed right now. The most entertainment I get is from going to a park

Let me start by saying you're only as high value as you view yourself. There's something about you that he clearly likes, so give yourself credit and don't be so hard on yourself. Another thing, in my experience, men who are still friends with their exes are more than friends with them (leading them on, still having sex, etc). Men will blatantly lie to your face about it too, but not all men. It's just something to be cautious of. What you're feeling is normal, but you have to snap out of it and…

No problem! It's difficult to navigate for sure, but good luck.

I think that's beyond your control. Maybe he did something to make her uncomfortable with him having female friends, or she could just be insecure. Even though you see him as just a friend, maybe he has talked about you in a certain way that makes her uncomfortable/jealous. Either way, it sucks losing a friend, but it's his loss tbh. If you have a male friend who's in a relationship lacking security/trust, it's always a possibility his spouse will be uncomfortable with him having female friends.…

I've never heard of someone ageing at 28. If anything I notice people look better bc their faces look more defined (if they haven't gained weight)

If your parents are the type to kick you out, ignore what I'm about to say and just focus on moving out. If I were you, I'd get a lock for my bedroom door and password protect my phone. I'd also ignore any social interactions with my parents until I move out. As an adult, you should be able to have more freedom/privacy, especially with the pandemic and not being able to get out much. She's just making it way harder for absolutely no reason. I hope you have people to talk to, you'll get through t…

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I can't imagine how stressful that must be. Can you talk to your dad about it? Do you have any siblings or relatives you can stay with? If you're over the age of 18 she's being really weird and controlling. Why does she have access to your phone, and why does she go near your room? There are a lot of boundary issues here, I hope you can figure out a better living situation if she doesn't learn to back off and worry about her own life.

Omg I haven't done a manicure or pedicure in like 4 months lmao. I'm going to make sure I do that this week, thank you.

Aww you're a great mom. There's a nursing home near me, so I can definitely send cards there. I started walking/jogging 4 miles a day in July, then completely stopped once it got cold outside. But I'm going to try walking at least 30 minutes on my treadmill everyday and go up from there. Thanks!

I'm so close to doing that. I might dog sit my friend's dog first to see if it's a responsibility I can take on for myself.

You're so lucky! I wish I lived somewhere that didn't require masks. Everything is closed in my state besides grocery stores and "essential" businesses and you can't get in without a mask. But those are all good suggestions, I'm going to try to read more.

Try to find something you like about your face and enhance those features. If you have nice big eyes, emphasize them with mascara/lashes; if you have full lips, put on a little lipliner/lipgloss when doing makeup. You might not want to hear this, but I'm sure you're not ugly. It might not seem like it because you don't attract the men you want. I'm sure there are men out there who would be attracted to you and interested in a LTR. There are men who like educated women with careers, it depends on…

Wow thank you! I really like this perspective, hopefully I can use it to not take criticism so personally.

9/10 it's women bc I'm mostly friends with women. It's just easier to agree with them because they think everyone who disagrees has internalized misogyny or is a "pick me". I would try to explain myself but you're right, they think any different opinion is harmful. Similar to you, I used to be a feminist and listening to different ideas changed my perspective. I just miss how easy it was to make friends when I started college and actually believed most popular opinions.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply. I agree with what you're saying, I have a lot less friends now too. I guess that just comes with maturing and learning about yourself. And yeah people just label anything they disagree with as a "conspiracy theory" or try to make it seem like you're coming from a place of hatred when that's just not true.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it at all. You're there to do you're job and be cordial, you're not obligated to entertain flirting. Seems really annoying that a lot of them don't have radios though, sorry you have to do that extra work.

Honestly, in my experience when I laugh it off usually men think that means I want them to try again. It depends on the guy though, some can take a hint and others can't. I think you can show that you're still interested by saying that you want to get to know them first, and you don't feel comfortable with sexual remarks from someone you don't know very well. If they're mature I think they'd understand.

I used to have this problem too, you have to be direct with guys or they'll think they can keep trying it. Just let them know that you don't like the sexual comments and you're not interested in casual sex. If they keep trying after that, cut all contact with them. Good luck!

The way you worded this is judgmental. Also, it's not all about looks. You can improve by finding hobbies that you enjoy and meeting people with common interests if you want a lasting relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
