Or maybe you could just support your wife emotionally, so that way you have a strong woman on your arm, and not someone who you've let wither. You're doign it wrong.

I would talk to her about fight club.

What the fuck is this shit, dude? It sounds like you've driven a massive wedge between you and your wife, and your wife has entered into an abuse spiral. You need to get with her ASAP on the emotional side.

Talk to your fucking wife, dude. Either you're a team or it's you.

You need to get yoru head out of yoru ass, and take that shit down a notch. it sounds like you've driven a wedge between you and your wife, she probably feels disconnected and shut down, and is just trying to make you happy. Is that what you were looking for? A broken ass wife? Good god, it's like you're looking for an excuse to abuse her by triggering all this shit that she is expecting to depend on you emotionally for strength.

You still have a good marriage. Go talk with her instead of coming here.

How the fuck are you 17, two years of this shit, and you think you're going to know what a healthy relationship looks like? Who exactly are your role Models? You are headed for a deep dark corner with some serious issues.

I hate this ...and go... shit. The self absorbed bitches who do this just scream validation whore. But - since it's a fun topic, I'll just say this: If not you, then who? Stop asking me for sex. Well then I'll go ask somebody else. And then walk out of the house. Not the room. The house. For 4 hours.

You must lead. When you're at the play ground, play it cool - have fun. Encourage others to play with y'all. Play a game, whatever. This whole nonsense about shitty mothers and parents? It's bullshit. WHo gives a fuck. You're the man with the plan, and you must have patience while teaching youngin's. You can parent others' kids. You can also include their kids under your rules. You don't have to play to their standards. For me, when we're hanging out and other kids are curious, I include them. W…

It's all mental. If you think you can't, you won't. At some point, 205 will be too easy. Remember your muscles rise to the occasion. They grow. Under stress. So add on another 5 lbs a day. I do the starting strength 5x3.

Well... does she? On top of that - lifting and reading may be glorious - but what are you reading / how is it going? And what are you lifting? And did you check with your wife before you started going to the gym regularly? (I'm being sarcastic)

First of all - Congratulations. I'm happy for you and hope this all works out for you. You shouldn't worry about how he'll react - it is what it is. You're pregnant because y'all been banging. It seems like you're trying to figure out if you want to keep the baby. As the mother, you have millennia of genetic programmming in you that says you get to decide what's best for you and the baby. So you have fucked up the new dad thing. But it's okay. 9 mo in is not the time to rail on her about her weight. New mothers and fathers need to admit the fact that you don't have all the answers, and that's alright. I am concerned you may have some post mortem depression brewing. And you basically have to get her to want to engage fully. You need her to open up because she'll withdraw and then you will have to deal with a wife that feels like a failure as a mom.

Is she breastfeeding? Is exercising a social activity for her (does it with friends only)? What happens in 4 weeks? You're getting worked up. Stop it. Decide how you want your family to operate, and then take steps to make that a reality. It sounds like she's had a rough 9 months. Say that to her and let her talk. Don't respond. Just let her talk. Lastly, it's not "the baby". It's your son. It's your daughter. While pumped for you, I also hear some unnecessary compartmentalizing.

Cave man that shit: Flirt with her. Smacking of the ass, comments on the easy access clothes, making of the eyes, making out in the kitchen. Have some fun. Figure out how to get rid of the kids - you only need 20 min. They can go outside, over to neighbors, whatever. Cave man that ass. "We have 20 min. Let's do this." A manly manner. I love it. A few things: 1) If you're im Deutschland, I have to wonder what her support structure is like - from the situation you describe, I wonder if she has any girl friends or if y'all have any other families that you would consider part of your clan. If not, with a baby on the way, in a foreign land, I'd say you need to work on identifying other men and families that y'all get along with. You set the example. And anything can be play time. WHen the kids crowd and "want it now", I calmly tell them what Daddy is busy with, and what could they do to keep themselves busy until it's play time again. I then ask them what they'd love to do (keeping in mind what I'd love to do later). I steer them in that direction, and then I set a time and an event. From there, it's all about getting the excitement going. I list out 4 jobs they need to do to get ready for it. And then when they come ba…

I'm re-doing this book. The first time I read it, it sparked a sense of exploration and some of the exercises were too much. I created enough change that I needed to get back to a state of stabilization. Now that I'm re-visiting it, it's even heavier. Good lord. I mean what the fuck is in the next two books.... Think ahead, my friend. Let's say you'd like to get laid. Have you owned your shit? Does she have anything to do except be ravished? Be pre-meditated about this, and you'll have outcome independence. THat will give you the confidence to deal with the shit test. The scenario goes like this: I'd like to fuck my wife. Hmmmm.... what will stop me from doing that? Kids? Distractions? Insecurities/Fears: Back under control. Hadn't given it any thought until wife casually mentioned that she "could" cancel her next work trip if it conflicted with a date when I may be out of town. It surprised me a bit as she had always been adamant that she had no choice in the matter back when I was an insecure Beta bitch and would ask her about it. Not sure if this was 100% positive or not. It seems to imply that she's trying to accommodate me at all costs which would be positive, but it also…

I agree with this concept. It's what I've been instilling at home with the kids and my wife, so they understand that we won't leave to go fun things unless the house is in order. My point is more about the time management, sussing out a covert contract I found, and establishing the appropriate frame, not just helping out. Thanks for calling it out.

Deck of cards work out is key while on the road. You assign an exercise to each suit. And then do how ever many you draw. You can also take a blanket or a bed sheet, tie a knot in it, and then throw it over the top of the door for an easy suspension trainer style row exercise.

Think opening scene is top gun. Target rich environment. Everywhere you go is a target rich environment. And if you strike out, there are plenty more. Another way to look at it - you throw back the fish you caught if you're not going to eat t. You do this because you know you'll catch another. If you're hungry, you'll eat it.

I like the idea of not "over-sailing" the experience. To your point about my trip - I just hope my wife doesn't get too jealous if moms do react to my game. It's happened before, and I had to put out a fire. I do not want to have to deal with a major shit test blow out while on a short ass cruise.
/r/askMRP21/02/17 12:54 AM

I probably need to get the SMV on lock, so I look and act like like a rockstar. I love these cruises - it's just that since I've been trying to match up all of this MRP / RP philosophy with what I normally do, I find myself calling out normal ingrained BP behaviors, that I haven't yet questioned. I love the parrot idea. And I need some sunglasses for the hot moms, who will probably have a dad bod in tow.

We're going to live it up, and I will be setting forth my agenda, and then letting them know they can come along if they'd like. WIth that in mind, the hardest thing I'll have to deal with is not having my wife escalate into a state of dread, since I do plan on going out after the kids are in bed, regardless if she's in bed or not.

Better time management. Start with this. It's simple. You print out a weekly calendar. Then you add your priorities: Sleep, Working Out, Extra Curriculars / Fun stuff, Relationship/Network builders, family, work. You plan it out for the ENTIRE WEEK. You hit your bed time. You hit your wake up time. That's it. That's the goal for the week. If you can go to bed when you want to, and wake up when you want to for three weeks, you will notice an amazing difference.

So - try not to ignore the shit tests so much - if you work on your responses to these shit tests, you'll find yourself with more opportunities to NGAF. Does your wife find anything attractive? Or have these meds completely sucked her dry? Lastly, it seems you have a grind going on here - where are you goals, sir. your accomplishments. Next time, Don't say anything. Just flip her over, work it out, and then pull her hips back onto yours so that she's on all fours. But - to warm up to that - dance with her. lead her. /u/alfalfadaddy - I would move the fucking coat hooks to where you want them, install some tile and a bench, and make a nice little entry way - the way YOU want it. Don't ask - just start working on it. The key here is to plan it, finish it, and then use it. The reaction to her pitching a fit is simply to call out the behavior - "Oh so we're throwing things now? Good to know." As for your fucking coat... Go get it and put it back where it belongs - on your damn chair.

I appreciate the love boys. I've been struggling with this for like two years. Exercise has helped. But I need to double down and cut out all the shit I like. Chinese, beer, liquor, and I eat out constantly. My wonderful wife got me a big deep freezer for christmas, so I can begin to have more consistency in the meal prep and get into "there's always something at home" mentality. Since this is asktrp, we have some lattitude. Perhaps you could post a little about what it is you do, what you're trying to accomplish, and how you think alpha / beta behaviors manifest themselves at work. Because SMV still plays a role, but you shouldn't shit where you sleep, so there are obvious boundaries and nuances to the work place.

Who do you know that looks / feels / lives a life you'd want to emulate? They may have some habits worth picking up. And you should figure out what you're passionate about, and make a commitment to really blowing that out. You have to get used to letting girls do things for you. The trick is making sure it's on your terms. If she's getting her hair did with a hairstyle you like - it says she wants your approval. Great. Get her hair did and then tell her she should be on top because you want to see how well her haircut complements bouncing boobs. Or if she's asking you your birthday, make sure you mention that you believe it's the day where I get to do whatever I want.

Based on the tone here, I'm going to do my best to separate out what your wife wants and what you want. So if you're telling me that you never want kids - Congrats for taking control of your life. I would hope that you approach this new aspect of life from your POV - not from hers. Who cares if she doesn't want kids. You don't want kids. Other than that, I hope you recover well, and ease back into the fitness routine.

I don't know how many times I have to say this to men... YOU DON'T BUY A HOUSE WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND. Fullstop.

I do need to get back on my program. I was doing the Starting Strength routine from Mark Rippetoe + 2 mi run. This is good advice, dude.

I think you're taking this the wrong way. She's not a worthless tramp. I'm not exchanging sex for cleaning up - I'm reading the tea leaves. If anything, I'm trying to maximize the ass I do get, and need to reset some expectations around her playing mom.

Thanks for the tips from the guys on how to change her tune. Y'all who are hating on her by calling her a tramp or worthless need to check that shit. I'm not at the end of the road here. I'm trying to get a spark on how to turn around a slump. And there is no divorce for me here - y'all spit that out like it's some sort of logical next step of an algorithm. Now, if other things were going in, that would be in bounds. But, this is a small behavioral mod needed. She is a SAHM. She also does the fi…

I challenge you to provide me an example with kids where fighting doesn't solve the issue.

Well that escalated quickly. No - not quite to sex manipulation. Hoping she pulls thst card when I start taking her to task to make sure my house and kids are healthy and clean. And hanging out with my buddies / taking on more work to show I have options to spend my time.

My buddy outs it like this: don't let it fuck with your chi. If it's fucking with your chi, it's gotta go.

You have to put the work in - that will help you figure out which dots need connecting, and which ones can be ignored. For instance - if you can't take confidence and pride in your schedule and routine, then YOU can't be relied upon to do anything. At the same time, you will acquiesce when anyone wants you to. You have to stand firm in your plans. Get to the point you're saying "no" more than saying "yes" to requests and demands on your time.

I'm an eagle. And am starting to follow TRP. Just realizing there's seems to be alot of BP & "rationalization" in cubs. Maybe it's cub scouts. Thanks for the insight.

I've got both going on. I'm just wondering if scouts is a BP institution, hiding as a beacon of masculinity.

I'd liek to add on here: Don't work from home. You spend enough time together. Go somewhere else. Get an office. Keep a routine. You have shit to do, and it's your priority. You've delegated things to her - don't be around when she can't handle it.

You lost me when you said like the NRA. I skipped to this comment box and avoided a colossal waste of time.
