Had to find this article elsewhere since there's a paywall. You have a Quartz subscription? Because they counted defensive actions and quelling revolts as "warmongering" and other articles citing that statistic include Golda Meir as a warmonger because of the Yom Kippur War, where Israel was attacked. Seems like a loaded statistic

Victims don't often grow up to be predators, almost all of them won't. However many perpetrators were abused. Revictimization is real but it's important not to imprint that onto victims.

Agree with the second half of what you said, but i do want to add that trauma cannot be reasoned with and shock will make people do things that are not rational. Its not a choice, trauma affects oir brain's ability to make decisions and works off of our fight or flight response. As to the first half, that just doesn't happen.
