If you’re suggesting women who don’t afford tampons to bleed freely like women in prehistoric times (who had much less periods than women do now, because they were often pregnant or too unhealthy to have periods) that would pose a serious biohazard, because blood would be getting everywhere. You can’t stop a period with a few layers of public restroom toilet paper. You can obviously survive without being able to use menstrual products, like you can with not having a roof over your head or clothe…

And I assume you’d take the same stance with handing out free food or clothing if you do so with menstrual products? They’re all necessities, it’s just that the need for menstrual products tends to apply to women.

It’s because tampons/pads are a necessity for people with periods. If they don’t have those their periods quickly become a biohazard for others because it’s hard to stifle a period with cheap toilet paper, and it tends to get everywhere. Although the majority of men don’t have periods, I think a lot of them would agree they’d rather not have blood everywhere because poor/homeless women can’t afford menstrual products.

Just because the majority of men don’t have periods doesn’t make it any less of a necessity for people who do have periods.

How is this female privilege? They’re helping homeless and poor women by handing out a necessity. Women literally need tampons/pads, periods are unavoidable. It’s the same thing as handing out free clothing for those in need.

You don’t need razors. Women need tampons/pads because we don’t want blood everywhere.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
