Isn’t this just shifting the goalposts?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 07:54 PM

I mean you’re not wrong, the biggest issue is that you have no way of knowing what a person’s motives actually are. And with it feeling like the world as a whole is moving more towards low-trust societies people are getting more and more uncertain and suspicious about everything
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 07:00 PM

It’s naive to believe people will do everything out of the kindness of their heart but I’m pretty confident everyone has acted purely out of kindness in their life before

Being a nice person is its own reward. Anyone who acts kind and expects a reward is being performative and people who act like that don’t realize how easy it is to tell.

Literally pivoting your arguments behind semantics because it doesn’t hold any weight on its own
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 06:47 PM

Personally I’m offended by how dumb you sound
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 06:04 PM

Looks like everyone except for you can answer in that case

Stop looking to get offended and touch grass
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/26 07:58 PM

Obviously, otherwise you’d be micro-cheating on them

Pooping, for instance

Good bait dumbass

This whole “nice guys” thing has always been about guys who are too wimpy to ask a girl out so they’ll try to tiptoe around it forever

I hate plenty of people I haven’t met, it’s more about how they act then who they are isn’t it?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 04:40 PM

Oh wow this is pathetic 😬😬😬
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 07:42 PM

I’m overweight and haven’t been to the gym in years and I haven’t had issues getting dates. At this point it seems like a skill issue

Maybe because the answers to all your problems aren’t gonna appear on a silver platter?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 02:28 AM

The manosphere is “thriving” because it gives people easy answers and weak men swarm towards the path of least resistance
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 12:18 AM

Genuinely who cares about any of this
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 02:37 AM

I think the biggest issue with this is it leads a lot of men outsourcing therapy to their female friends
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 06:55 PM

Doesn’t anyone else find any talk about “evolutionary strategy” to be super cringe?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 01:59 PM

Like?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 11:55 PM

I’m seeing that women’s cheating rose to 14.7% from maybe around 9% while men consistently have cheated at 21%. Did OP provide a source that literally disproved his claim?? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 04:37 PM

People flock to these views because it’s so much easier to blame others for their own problems
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 04:28 PM

Holy cow equating sex to food and water might be the most desperate pathetic mindset I’ve ever seen

I’m sure this guy is just a victim of the matriarchy. His inability to get a date has nothing to do with hobby of making spreadsheets like that 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 04:24 PM

Any time someone posts a statistic her you can just assume they made it up smh
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 02:02 PM
11

The point I’m making is that this guy’s argument is nonsense, and my proof of that is his proof lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 08:20 PM

I mean people hardly come with an index. A lot of times red flags aren’t immediately presenting themselves and by the time they show up, people get caught up in sunk costs or other reasons to stay when they shouldn’t

Let’s not act like the US draft is a real issue, and who are the ones who make these policy decisions anyways?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:15 PM
36

Using google search trends of very specific and narrow phrases as “proof” might be the most pseudo-intellectual behavior I’ve ever seen
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:01 PM
10

That’s a whole lot of words when you could’ve just said “I don’t believe you”
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 04:47 PM

I feel like you need to examine the kinds of relationships you have with men and women before making sweeping claims. I’m getting a big “men = logic, women = emotions” vibe and I think the real answer is that people are more willing to respond emotionally to romantic partners than platonic friends
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:17 PM
20

Is this really specific to women though? I feel like all people can be guilty of jumping to conclusions regardless of even the kind of relationship involved
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:00 PM

And unlike some broad societal shift, individuals can tangibly make positive differences on their own lives with that energy :/ Imagine instead of a dissertation over why we should all blame women, you just take that energy into randomly messaging a highschool friend from years ago asking what they’re doing this weekend
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 04:54 PM

People will hold views like this and unironically wonder why they can’t land dates lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 04:24 PM

This sub is so strange, why do people talk about men and women like they’re political parties?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 04:20 PM
2

I don’t think this guy has been on enough dates to complain about them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 02:39 PM
1

I thought it was in the context of first dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 02:30 PM
3

That’s not exclusive to women… how many men refuse to clean or do any sort of chore because their wife or mom does it for them?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:18 PM
1

Saying “men do things they don’t want to all the time” kind of implies that women don’t experience that exact same thing
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 05:03 PM
1

As opposed to how women only do what they want to do all the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 04:37 PM
4

Any instagram or YouTube comment section I feel like your entire point is kind of boiling down to “I want people to be forced to listen to my untrue and unpopular opinions”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 02:56 PM
10

So a perfect world for you is one where 50% of people lose their agency? That hardly sounds fair
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 06:51 PM
3

Cmon you can’t be serious, a 3min long video where the poster could just clip around anything that doesn’t prove their point?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 06:40 PM
2

All these counter arguments just use fake statistics to explain their emotionally driven arguments
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 06:29 PM
3

I mean yeah but if that’s not what they’re looking for then it’s on them to clarify. I just find it a bit strange that “being nice” as a woman is being equated to “actively lying” for a man in this scenario If a woman is being nice to a guy shouldn’t it be on the guy to clarify what those messages mean? And if they think they’re just being strung along they should have the backbone to just cut that woman off
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 06:10 PM
1

Oh well that just sounds like a bad friend regardless of gender and you should cut them off in that case
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 06:07 PM
7

Ew
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 05:55 PM
3

I mean do the men in these scenarios not also get companionship and friendship? IMO it’s the person who’s not getting what they want who has the responsibility to clarify or break things off
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 05:55 PM

Ew
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:35 PM

Holy cow you don’t even need to see what this guy looks like to find out why he doesn’t have success dating
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:16 PM

All the people talking about dating habits here probably haven’t gone on a date in their life tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 07:14 PM

Do you get all your information from weird YouTubers and podcasters? What are you talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 07:06 PM

It’s disappointing how so many posts here boil down to “let me generalize all women as something I dislike so I’m allowed to dislike all women”
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 04:47 PM
1

Honestly framing all this discourse like it’s a competition is immature. This whole “oppression olympics” race to the bottom isn’t productive and clearly the echo chambers that feedback loops these conversations are only making people emotional and defensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 05:34 PM
1

Neither do women? But more often it’s men who decide to commit the crime
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 03:38 PM
1

I mean do you not think a woman has ever had to work a job or put food on the table?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 12:47 PM
0

Committing a crime is a choice though, being the victim of one isn’t
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 07:48 PM
4

Yeah I think it’s ironic how a lot of problems women face are caused by men, and a lot of problems men face are also caused by men
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 07:47 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
